Online grocery order. I made an order for Monday 30th September 2019 for my delivery to come between 6pm and 8pm. It got to 8:30 and I rang customer service. They put me on hold for several minutes and when they returned they said it had been cancelled due to a problem with the store and that I should have received a message. I did not. I received the message at 9:05pm. I had no food in the house and was relying on this order. As a result I had to run out to the nearest super market only to have forgotten my purse in all thea anger toward asda. I had to rush home and then back again. Asda really screwed up for me. This is the first and last time I will use them for delivery.

Absolutely awful - I will never use them again. They advertise offers and do not have the stock in to fulfill them. The order still processes, which means no saving to you and the cost of a delivery fee. Then you have to call the outsourcers to cancel the order. They try to get you to reorder the items and make promises they cannot keep. Mine said he would definitely cancel my next order and it turned out he couldn't. I will never use Asda delivery again as it was a total waste all round.

Had a delivery today that was spoilt by a delivery man who was obviously looking for trouble. I went to the door with carrier bags and said ' We'll put the delivery in these bags' and he said 'pardon', and I repeated the words and he said 'pardon' again and this happened four times! I then started to load the delivery into the carrier bags and he reluctantly and slowly helped, then I heard him saying ' Could say please' which he kept repeating over and over! I then realised that he was being awkward from the beginning and I said 'you're being awkward and you're getting on my nerves'.
He had stopped helping me transfer the final half of the delivery and he did something on his phone while I continued to transfer the delivery and he did nothing so I said to him 'I'm going to report you' and he repeated 'could say please' so I finished the transfer on my own and finally said 'Just go away!'. Which he did.
For the drivers and Asda's information the statement ' We'll put the deliveries in these bags' does not need a 'please' and the driver obviously has a chip on his shoulder! Or is looking for the sack!
I've had many home deliveries with Tesco, Morrisons and Asda and have never had cause to give a bad review before.

My online shopping was delivered in time to cook a roast chicken dinner, unfortunately the main item had been substituted. No extra special free range chicken was provided, it had been substituted with 2 duck breasts.Had the store run out of all chicken products ? hardly likely but if so don't substitute with an alternative meat without ascertaining product is to customer's liking. They substituted anyway but how do they justify 400g is adequate for a 1.55kg chicken?
I await a written response from the store containing their justification, I won't hold my breath,

I hadn't used Asda's home delivery for a number of years after a bad experience (a whole box/tray full of items wasn't delivered) but I thought enough time had passed that they warranted a second chance. I'm glad I did because the service has greatly improved since last time (which I'd guess was around 2014).
Despite the lack of carrier bags, which I admit is still a little awkward and surely must mean each delivery takes them longer, the driver was friendly, the two substitutions I had were perfectly sensible, and nothing had an excessively short shelf life. The fresh fruits and veggies were all fine with no bumps, bruises, or discoloured bits.
I'm sure it depends on where you live, but for me I think that Asda has a wider range of items on the site that Sainsburys or Tesco do which is nice for some extra variety. The site itself is fine, with different categories/sections for different types of products as well as a search function.
And finally, the delivery prices are reasonable. If you're flexible and can be in during the day on a weekday you can often get a slot for as little as £2, though the Asda here only offers two-hour slots as opposed to Tesco who offer one-hour slots. But considering a lot of websites P&P for a single item can be more than that, I think it's very cheap to have all your shopping done for you and delivered to you.
While a few years ago I would've said I was decidedly unimpressed with Asda's online grocery delivery, I'm much more satisifed this time around and will certainly use them in future.

Cancelled 2 orders and suspended account with no notice or reason. Complained twice but never so much as a callback. Is this how your treat your customers especially disabled ones who can't simply go into store.

Cheapest supermarket that deliver but now Asda no longer use carrier bags I won't be using their delivery service again, that is after 7+ years of custom. The bagless option is a chore for the driver and customer and the tree-hugging brigade should focus on India and China where pollution is governmentally an corporately condonned. Biodegradable bags are the answer but Asda are too busy patting themselves on the back for their nonsense virtue-signalling to do the common sense thing. I am now using Morrisons and happy to pay a little bit more and have less choice than muck about with the Chuckle brothers routine between myself and the driver every time Asda delivered with the bagless farce

Don't bother getting your hopes up that they will supply what you ordered because that is not possible they always have stock issues and if you complain they put you in contact with someone who does not have a clue speaks broken English and does not understand English.
If you complain about the call centre the Head Office takes offence and tells you that you should not in summary it ASDA be a waste of time.

I have stopped using Asda home deliveries due to Asda stopped using bags for home deliveries I need the bags as I suffer from arthurites and the bags help a great deal in allowing me to take the products I order. Asda just sent a email saying they would not be using bags with no exceptions so I don't use them any more. Other home delivery companies use bags of one type or another. Asda excuse of reducing pollution falls down as I would now have to use my car to get my groceries with bags

I would not even give 1 star, went to asda today used debit card to pay at the self service but the transaction seamed to take longer then declined my card even though when I contacted my bank asda had took the amount out of my account. The staff in the shop were not helpful at all and were very rude and did not care at all. I rang asda and got the same very rude and unhelpful. I was told would have to wait 5 days for money to come back in to my account because of there faulty machines. Just an update the money has now gone from my account to asda so this pushing back the money is rubbish so really its theft.

Terrible experience today - been charged twice for my shopping for the SECOND time in four days - takes 5 days to get the money back so Asda currently 'holding pending return' £160 of my money!!!
The assistant said, ' yeah keeps happening' manager said 'oh yeah we know about the fault' and customer services said ' we wouldn't stop using those machines just for a few complaints'
So in short - they know and don't care- whilst I face bank charges and literally no apology, care or sign of compensation
NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN

You don't deserve 1 star today. As I'm totally blind and in a wheel chair I depend on the Asda delivery service. We'll not now they have removed shopping bags from the deliveries. And today my shopping arrived and t contains two out of date items. 1 with today's day and 1 with the 4 sept. After speaking to the shopping deliver manager who couldn't of cared less about it. Do you not realise how this can make people ill? And no it wasn't even best before they are used by dates.

I do not have a problem with the no bags policy on delivery of orders....I support the getting rid of plastic ......BUT ....then for heaven's sake use paper bags or cardboard boxes ....just had a delivery...first one for ages and last one for ages !!!....am semi disabled ....it's now all at the bottom of my stairs ...and can you believe ???? 90% is in individual plastic bags !!!!!!!!! Think Asda need to review their plastic policy and put some of the money they are saving from not buying carriers into alternatve packaging and a few paper carriers or utilising boxes ......

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered 2 of 20 piece sandwich platters online. Went to collect and, eventually, found that these were not available and had been replaced by 2 cheese and onion sandwiches! So instead of the required 40 portions I was expected to accept 8 portions (2x4 = 8). No communication of the problem, guy at the click and collect was hopeless - a total waste of time. I then had to drive 12 miles to get replacement sandwiches from a proper supermarket. Will never use this service again.

Did weekly shop in asda yesterday but was in a rush so didn't check all the dates on everything I picked up, my mistake I know. But after checking the dates on the items I bought I realised a yoghurt I bought yesterday (30th August) had use by date of 23rd August. I know i should have checked the dates but it's illegal to sell out of date products. But what I can't get my head around is why was something 7 days out of date still on the shelves in a really busy shop. What are you going to do about this cause it's not acceptable at all.

Having purchased for over a year Asda Beef in black bean sauce, they have recently altered the recipe they have added water chestnuts of which I cannot eat also there is less meat and it taste different. How can ASDA put this on the shelve without telling you that it is now different. I contacted the customer to asked why this product is not the same, they have failed to answer my question and still selling without saying this is a different recipe. My rating would be nil start rating if there was one to click. In my opinion Customer Service feed back is very, very poor. Mr R Smith, Bury Lancashire

Asda Forget it. The on line shopping for groceries is awful. How can a Company of that size run out of basics like yoghourt and noodles and what really finished me off is I put my order in just above £40.00 so as not to incur penalty charge!!! and they deliberately told me that two standard items were "out of stock" so when I checked my order on line the total price had dipped below £40.00 and they charged me £3.00 The amount of times I have had to telephone to complain it is just not worth it. I am not using them anymore an absolute let down missing items grumpy delivery men! Asda you can keep it!!!!!!!

Zero star. First time I used Asda and will be the last. Delivery driver too lazy to find my flat so the order wasn't delivered. Order delivered next day with tons of stuff missing. Charged twice. It's been tough trying to get a refund as the customer service is in the Philippines! Appalling. Never use again.

Getting one star because zero is not available. I should have checked Trustpilot before placing my first and last Asda online order. I became suspicious when not a single email and update mentioned a collection/delivery address. Phoned and was told they would deliver to my house. Asda actually delivered to a store which must be about 10 miles from where I live without consulting me. Shame at their appalling service is probably why my refund was processed in 15 mins. I would have reported this whole disaster as a fraudulent purchase if they had refused. Now to cancel the account set up yesterday.
