Shitty customer service ended up paying shipping 168$ to send the delayed package to my son,they wouldn't return my calls, as I wanted to get a status on my order, when was able to talk to them, they promised each time, they would get back to me, never did... I even told them, they needed to ship to his school now and they shipped it home. I asked them to pay for my shipping and they refused categorically, even if it was their fault, will never buy from them again, neither should you. They just want your money.

We purchased new goalie skates for our son who needed new skates bad. He plays a high level of hockey and we were in the middle of a season. We purchased through goalie monkey and when the skates arrived, we learned quickly that they had a manufacturing defect and the blades were installed wrong. We called goalie monkey and explained our need for skates and that we had already given away his smaller skates and we needed skates quickly. Customer service could not have cared less about our predicament and refused to ship new skates until after they received the old ones AND took 5-7 additional days just to review the problem. We explained that we spend lots of money on skates that arrived damaged and now we have no skates for a high level goalie who needed them. Again, couldn't have cared any less than they did. Terrible customer service. Will NEVER purchase through them again. They could have paid for skates to be overnight'd UPS and had new skates in the mail to us once we confirmed old ones were OTW. We understand it was a manufactured issue but goalie monkey didn't even try to help us. Buy goalie equipment elsewhere.

Following the sitejabber recommendation... reviewing a few more sites. Goaliemonkey.com has always been a great place for discovering quality gear, a year or two older, for a fraction of the price. My go-to there - are leg pads and blocker/glove... everything else we go to a Bauer store, or local places that carry goalie gear. I've never had an issue when it comes to returns or refunds, so I can't speak for customer service experiences. But otherwise, when looking for a product - as long as you k is your sizing, and check out a video or two of the quality of your purchase, which we do; I've never been disappointed - with a teenage growing goalie in my house that plays year round!

Bought a new True 6.0 goalie stick for sons Christmas--new product, new manufacturer. Goalie Monkey delivered fast as customary, son loved stick--until it shattered just below the handle mid-first-period of his first start. Not a place a stick should break, not under pressure, clear manufacture defect. Goalie Monkey deferred responsibility to True, True stated their warranty was from time of purchase, not actual use (shame about that 'keeping it wrapped for Christmas' tradition, hmmm), no one wanted to man up behind their product. We are out $150+...but Goalie Monkey (and True) have shown us their character and are permanently out customers. Recommend finding a vendor who will stand up when needed; they have proven they are not that.
