I have persevered with this service for some time, but now terminated. The final straw was the removal of Spectator from the list without informing subscribers. There have been previous 'silent' removals of other magazines.
The navigation and search engines are pretty much useless. Unless in 'favourites' it is very difficult to find a title and there never seems to be the title range claimed. A good idea for which I was willing to pay, but fatally damaged by a poor system and even worse communication.

Thank you for a great service. No more physical magazines!

Beware , stay aware from them as plague, they steal money out of your account without your permission, never signed up to them, didn’t even know who they where until I googled them, when rang them they said they’ll terminate my contract ( what contract!!!!) but won’t refund me the money. Daylight robbery, think it’s time for these guys to be reported!!!

the app is fine and good selection of magazines BUT the promo offers are deceiving and their PR department is crap.

The content of Readly is OK. The reading experience on windows 10 is below par. I am a Zinio user on windows 10, Readly can not match even the simplest userinterface requirement : arrow right, brings you to the bottom of the next page, this should be of course the top of next page. There is no vertical scrolling possible.
I understand Readly is in the early stages. but developing a good user interface on windows should not be too difficult...
I doubt if I will buy a subscription.

Id like to give this 5star because the service is actually quite good but i suffered the hard to cancel too - cancelled , continued to take, fortunately paypal used and can block the retailer
Keep sending me 99p offers wehich when i login wants me to enter credit card details for £7.99 a month imediate (no 99p offer)
So while I'd like to, i wont be subscribing while I dont trust their practices

I signed up for a 3 months trial via a McDonald's voucher in April 2018. I have just realised they have been taking payments of 7.99 ever since. These transactions are not authorised, they certainly didn't have my permission to take them and the only thing clearl about this sign up process is that it is NOT clear. It's misleading and designed to hope people don't realise.
I want a refund NOW, or I will be requesting it from my bank.

One of my favourite apps, i use on both my iPhone and kindle and I have had it since it first launched and happily pay £7.99 a month. A HUGE selection of magazines which I enjoy trying out for the first time whereas I probably wouldn’t have paid to purchase at full price in a shop, I love the crime magazine, the real life weeklys, travel , music, lifestyle, spiritual, home and more, i really can’t fault it!

I’ve never tried to cancel as this is such an amazing service. Just two of the magazines I read each month cost more than the subscription to Readly alone.
I can also download the dvd content via file silo and get access to dozens of back issues.
It’s a fantastic service and my wife and son also use the account to access their own preferred content.
£7.99 a month is incredible value for all the magazines available.
I recommend this to all my friends and family and everyone should try Readly at least once.

Wow! I'm blown over by Readly (UK)
I was not sure after reading some of the negative reviews here but having signed up and experienced Readly over the last week, I can tell you without a doubt that they are FAB.
In terms of selection, they have a very broad range. Of course, no one is going to read 3000 magazines that they have on offer but I was very interested in 9 of them and browsed through another 7.
I am hoping that in the coming months they add academic magazines like HBR and MIT tech review. This would be a wonderful addition for students like me, and academics alike.
The next best part is the user-friendliness and the aesthetics of the APP. It is a pleasure to read on it. It also lets you download magazines for offline reading I find this useful when I read the magazines on my commute when I don't have access to the internet.
Lastly, they have a fantastic customer support. A special shout-out to Blair, who, for me, redefined my experience with customer service.
If you are a reader of magazines, then look no further than Readly.
I spend a few hours reviewing other providers out there such as Magster, Zinio and Texture. Definitely, recommend Readly over others.

I used their one-month free trial and I was satisfied with the proposed service, they did not take any money when I have unsubscribed.

Folks, this is an ok magazine service, BUT read on.
You can read online many of the magazines Free that are on Readly and not pay a penny!
All you need to do is take the trouble to sign up with your local library, sometimes you can even do it online.
The app that libraries use is called RBDigital, but you have to sign up with your library first to get library details to enter into Rbdigital.
Libaries in uk and Ireland have between 200-400 magazines on offer some of the BBC mags have now left Readly but available on Rbdigital from your local library. Readly say they have over 3000 but probably that covers all languages.
One thing, the Readly app is a little more classy and easier to load etc, but why pay if you can get it for FREE!

I signed up for Readly because I took up an offer of a free month unlimited magazines run by 3 Mobile. I wasn't reading any magazines so eight days before my free subduction was coming to an end, I tried to cancel to avoid paying for the following month. It wasn't giving me an option to cancel and was instructing me to fill in my bank card details, as those details were not filled in. So I thought that if I filled in my card details then I would be able to cancel. After all it wasn't informing me to subscribe for another month, just to enter payment details. However Readly took £7.99 from my card without my consent, despite there being more than a week to go before my subscription ended. Would give it no stars if I could.

Good range of magazines and the app works quite smoothly.
Main issue is what I feel is deceptive practice. After deciding that I didn't read it enough I decided to cancel before my 14 day trial was up.
After the initial 'why do you want to cancel' question and clicking "CONFIRM", they have a new page of magazine covers and require you to click "CONFIRM" a second time, before you actually have the membership cancelled. I was caught out because I assumed clicking "CONFIRM" the first time would be enough to cancel ... and neglected to scroll down to the end of the second nag screen, therefore was charged for a recurring membership.
I'm pretty sure quite a few people would get caught out by that, and they refuse to refund the membership fee. Please don't get caught out by what I feel is a deceptive cancellation process!

Was great until losing all the decent Motorcycle magazines this month along with the BBC publications.
Time to cancel now and will be going back to the paper versions instead after this flirtation with what I thought was the future.

Does NOT work, bugs all over the place no matter what App or platform you are on, Brower based is the WORSE. It is tantamount to buying a Physical Magazine in W.H. Smiths and some of the pages are missing. It frequently fails to render, freezes. It is near on impossible to read a WHOLE magazine, don't be silly, who wants to read a WHOLE magazine. Support, well, don't even ask, they will accuse you of doing something wrong EVERYTIME it is NEVER their issue, always yours and you PAY for that privilege. Really not worth the money unless you look at a few ads and pictures in more than a few magazines a month I guess.

Try cancelling - it is impossible - this is what happened to me...
1) can't find a way to cancel via app
2) I sent email via app, response email directed me to website
3) went to website and website said got to iTunes settings
4) I have an iPad it is not in Settings and not in iTunes
I think this scam - Give it a swerve unless you want to pay for it for this for the rest of your life!

Absolutely love the app, saved our family a fortune in magazine costs and to some degree I feel like I'm doing something good for the environment not chucking paper away every month too.
You can register up to 5 devices and pretty much everything we used to buy in the newsagents is on it plus we can test out all sorts of magazines that we normally wouldn't spend money testing.
Sure there's a lot of stuff on there that doesn't interest me but someone must like it, it's hardly the apps fault if hunting magazines exist.
It's a bargain - if your family buy 2 or more magazines a month then you're saving money.

Brilliant app. £7.99 a month to read a vast choice of magazines. What can there be to complain about.

Bought a test period but they continued to collect Money for Many months till i finally stoped it.
Wanted my money back but they refuse, Fake, fraud it’s what it is.
They have to stop this way of selling and only take money from people that gives concent.
I only wanted to try it but learned that then your in it for life according to them.
Big no from me.
Pay me back my money!

No application for Windows devices meaning that you cannot save content for offline reading like you can with Readly on Apple devices. This is not exactly an equitable service because of this. Readly Go does not work well with continued blurry pages despite magazines having 'downloaded'.
If you are using a Windows device, I would not recommend this service unfortunately. I'm very disappointed.

I tried cancelling my subscription over 6 months ago...they are continuing to take money! I've gone online and been in contact with an actual human...and they still continue to take money! Don't go near unless you want it for the rest of life....
