In 2015 we decided to take the step to splash out and spend a lot of money to get blinds installed in the windows in our new house. The folk at Gardin-NYT Holbæk were friendly and effective, decking out our house in a short time with a variety of different blinds.
Unfortunately since they were installed every single blind in the house has fallen down on numerous occasions and we've had to call them about once a month, asking them to come out and set them up again. Sometimes just opening or closing the blinds caused them to snap and fall off the windows. After almost two years of monthly visits from the folk at Gardin-NYT Holbæk which took time to have to coordinate, they told us that their next visit to us would cost 900DKK. (As if we were bothering them by contacting them on such a regular basis and charging us 900DKK for their visits would put a stop to that!)
Obviously we can't afford to spend 900DKK on getting the blinds fixed once a month so in the end we took down these very expensive blinds from the windows and now they are tucked away in a cupboard gathering dust.
I wrote to Gardin-NYT to let them know that I would be reviewing them on TrustPilot but they didn't bother to respond.
If the blinds had worked as blinds should work (and surely it can't be that difficult to get them to stay on the windows?) we would have accepted the expensive cost of fitting our house out with them but they don't work and therefore our experience with Gardin NYT Holbæk has been a huge big waste of money and many years of frustration which ended up the same as we started - no blinds on the windows!
