Deceptive web page for entering order information
This is a fraud trap right from the get-go. They have a deceptive order form. Once you decide to try the trial offer, it has you enter your credit card information first. When you think you are all done and the next thing you would expect is a receipt or confirmation page, it goes to a page that has two buttons, one says "Continue", and the says" No Thanks". The “No Thanks” one is so small, and way at the bottom of the page so you have to scroll down to see it. I have bad eyes, so my screen resolution is set large font, so this button was not even visible.
So I did not want the extras they were trying to get e to add to my order, so I kept hitting “Continue” waiting to get to my final page. Suddenly, the next page was my receipt, but I had inadvertently ordered ALL the extras.
I was furious, so I called and said to cancel the whole thing. This was immediately after I had place the order. They took the extra charges off after much argument. I got the trial product anyway, it went through the system so fast, even though I called immediately, it was too late to stop the shipment, but they did credit me the extra charges. I received the product and 7 days later I got billed for $79.95, the renewal monthly whatever.
I NEVER got instructions how to use the product. I could not locate the web page after responding to the initial link of Facebook, and I tried. The girl on the phone gave me https://www.tryburngarcinia.co..., which I tried while she was on the phone, and it does not work. I tried it from several browsers, and she said it was my computer. I asked her to email the link; she said she was not allowed to. When you search the product, you get all kinds of Garcinia products, but none match the above address.
She offered me a 35% refund, I said no, I would go to my credit card company, we argued, and then she offered me 50%, then a while later, 75%. After 30 minutes on the phone, when I refused anything less than 100%, she finally relented and supposedly did the refund. I have to wait to see if it actually goes through. She refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor, said no one was there.
Bottom line—this is a fraud set-up from the get-go. They dupe you into entering the information and then hope you will either not notice, or not take the time to argue the charges. Be warned!
