If you know exactly what you need then it likely is a good place. We wanted some solid light blocking in the bedroom and living room. We never got really satisfied with their solution and experienced them getting a bit impatient on us.

Edit: They reacted to my 2 star review and were very willing to improve our experience. They changed materials and even added an extra curtain. If this had happen in the first place then they would have gotten 5 starts for sure!

We have now ordered twice from Garant (Østerbro unit, in CPH) and been very disappointed.

Both times the company came home to us to do the measurements of windows. Excellent service so far. The issues came afterwards, when ordering. Both times we lacked a proper specification of order(material, measurements etc). Even though, we chose to trust everything was ok. And it was, the first time-although we then had an extremely long delivery time (communicated a couple of weeks after the order). Yesterday, we called the company to hear what had happened to our second order, 3 weeks after clear order(verbally, in store). At the order we were promised a delivery time of appr 2 weeks. The answer from the sales resp was that there wasn’t any order, not even an excuse. If I would have known, I’d have placed an order somewhere else. Now we are forced to measure everything from scratch(since no measurements are never communicated) or call out another” gardinbuss” AND wait another 2-3 weeks -at best, to receive our blindes (rullgardiner).

Their products are nice. The service with gardinbuss likewise. But the professionalism with handling and ensuring a proper order, which should be the easy part, is just under ALL criticism. Never again.

I went to Garant Herlev to buy some curtains. I had my measurements and they helped me thoroughly to figure out what products would fit best, how to mount and so on. They gave me very professional advice and with extreme kindness and patience (I am definitely not an expert and I don't even speak Danish). I also asked about another product I was looking for, and even though they don't sell it, they still gave me great advice on the options that exist on the market and on the best way to look for that product.
A few days later I had to cancel my order for the curtains (for reasons due to me, unrelated to the products) and they were super helpful with that too and made the process very easy for me.
I feel that they really want happy customers and they do what it takes to have that. This is now my go-to place for anything related to floors, carpets, windows etc.
