Very nice staff, was seen by Chris as we walked in, was very polite and friendly, our temperature was taken as we went in to make sure we were virus free, extremely happy with the service that was given, we highly recommend furnature Village to anybody looking for furniture of any type no matter how big or small, well done.

We have been waiting for a manual on how to operate our £5.000 bed, we purchased this in store.
On delivery no manual was offered. We called the store they fobbed us off telling us to contact the Manufacturers Tempur or their delivery team. We called the delivery team who stated they would request this, ......... We called again and were told they would send it........ Still awaiting.....
Funny they were very quick to support sales but not after care....

We bought several items of furniture from the Taunton Store and was very happy with the service we received. Alex was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on all 3 occasions we attended the store. Would highly recommend this store.

We ordered two sofas and a footstool from the Staines store. We were served by Lais. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer every question we asked. She had a lovely friendly and happy personality and advised on things we didn't realise were available. A great experience.

Perfect help and logical downsizing advise.
Having lived in our current property for 30 years and being forced to downsize and move to single story living for medical reasons. We were obviously very cautious, however found your Sales personnel in particular a Gentleman called Paul at your Solihull Branch, very accommodating and spending just the right amount of time, to demonstrate your products without being pushy. On two occasions, he answered all our questions logically and gave us enough time to research properly all our Dining & Lounge requirements. That we eventually purchased in total from yourselves.

Went on last day of sale, needed new sofa and chair that I had seen online. The customer service I received was outstanding, I had a man call Nick this guy was amazing! Knew everything and if he didn't he went and found out. Nothing was too much trouble for this guy he went above and beyond for me. I left the shop a very happy lady and also with a bed, lamp, mattress topper and dining room table. If you need good service from a friendly honest person this is the man to ask for. Thank you Nick I will be back !!!

Good service and polite

Excellent salesperson. Friendly, knowledgeable, honest about possible delivery delay. Spent as much time with us as we needed and didn't rush us or push us do to a deal.

It was my first visit to Furniture Village and I was impressed by the quality of their goods, the food prices and the excellent service by all the staff we came across. Will definitely visit again and we are looking forward to receiving our new mattress

I purchased a suite in December, it was delivered in January and I am still waiting for the correct feet as they delivered chair with one colour and settee with another colour. Disappointed that this was delivered like this and that I have to chase yet again to get them changed. Chairs are also going flat nearly impossible to pump as they are all fixed unlike my previous chairs I had from World of leather the quality is no where as good as my original sofa which lasted over 20 years, be lucky to get 5 Years with this one.

Please read before buying any of their products!!!
My partner and I bought a sofa 8 months ago. To be specific. The most expensive sofa they had in store. So assuming this is their best one it has been terrible disappointing.
When the sofa was delivered it was MISSHAPED!!! And when calling the store to ask why it was like this they said not to worry it will settle down in a few weeks of sitting on it. Months have passed by and there is still a giant lump in the middle of our sofa where you sit- how uncomfortable!!!
After sending photos and numbers complaints the staff at furniture village couldn’t care less. In fact they blamed us saying we hadn’t followed the aftercare! And used phrases such as ‘a spade is a spade, I can see you haven’t plumped your cushions’
NO! The sofa WAS DELIVERED IN THIS POOR LUMPY CONDITION.
Do not waste your money with these fools!

We visited the store looking for a three piece suite, we were greeted and then left to browse in peace. There was no pressure or hard selling tactics, our sales rep Rich, followed our lead. He demonstrated an understanding and had empathy in our circumstances. Good range of choice...more suited to the older generation in my opinion. We purchased a suite, with a good discount and a further discount from carpetright due to us mentioning we were in the process of purchasing a new carpet. Refreshments were offered which made a very pleasant change to other stores we'd visited.

We were served by Fiona who was very professional, helpful and extremely well knowledged about the products. We arrived late but were not hurried along or given the hard sell. We ended up buying a bed and would return when ever we need anything else for the home.
Fiona is an asset to the company and as a salesman of 50 years experience one of the best I have encounterd and cannot recommend highly enough.

I ordered a swivel chair from Romford Essex store and the salesman David was very helpful & professional. Derek.

In May 2019 we purchased a sofa and dining table, along with a leather cleaning kit. The sofa and dining table was delivered in August 2019, which was spot on with the delivery time schedule w were given.
We noticed that the cleaning kit was missing so contacted the sales rep who we dealt with. We were promised on 3 occasions that they would send the cleaning kit to us but eventually had to go into the store at the beginning of November 2019, to get it sorted out with the manager. Whilst we were in the store sorting that out, we decided to purchase a Bar Table and was promised that we would get it, in about 4-5 weeks and definitely before Xmas. So based on that information we went ahead.
About six weeks later we called the store to find out if we were still going to get the delivery before Xmas and was told there were no bases in stock so we wouldn’t get it until about mid January, which we were very disappointed about, but hey things happen.
About the middle of January we called the store again, as we hadn’t received the table and heard nothing from them. We were told that we now wouldn’t get the table until February 2020!! By this time we were very frustrated and asked why no one had contacted us to let us know, and explained to the customer service rep that we were promised delivery before Xmas. The response was (and I quote) “Ah well, you need to speak to the Salesman.”
Now I’m usually an understanding person but I thought that statement really proved how this company takes their customers for granted and really don’t care.
Not that it matters, but I spent almost £6000 with this store, and I’m very happy with the items purchased, but because of that one statement, I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN!
Now I’m sure this won’t phase them in the least, as customer satisfaction is not at the top of their list, but just be careful and think twice before you buy from this company.
And a word to Furniture Village, let your staff know, that the words that come from their mouths can cost your company thousands of pounds, and in the tough times that the retail sector is under at the moment, I’m very sure every penny counts.

Great cheery service which made me comfortable and happy to purchase! Thank you!!

I ordered a sofa it is sinking on the sides with the arms looks beautiful, but not fit for purpose.
After waiting many days an inspector came and told me it will sink then settle.
Cheaply made and there is not enough support on the sides . I am supporting underneath with books.ON A NEW SOFA I change the cushions round every night as recommended to do. God know what is inside the cushions they are awful to sit on.
Complained in writing after 7 days of use.
I apparently have to put up with this I have made it clear I will accept extra reinforcement to the edges but was refused. Apparently James of Gallows corner Furniture Village said it has a twenty year guarantee, that a joke after 7 days it is sinking I do not have this in writing!
I will not stop putting write up out there f/b and Twitter ect. I will also send another letter.
They also sold me cloth to cover my chairs it was £50 a meter then £60 then £90 now there is a RIP off for you.

We bought a mattress at the Orpington store. A very knowledgeable young man helped us make the right decision.
