Delivered schedule not met , poor plans, poor materials , heat distorted pieces causing extra labor and miss aligned pieces thank God I didn't pay for this building . I call it the 40x30 POS
As I statedI'm the installer not the purchaser of the building !! If I had to stop and call everytime there was an issue with the plans and the poor quality fabrication I would never finish a project on scheduel my suggestion to you at freedom steel would be to get a QC program started at all fabrication sites wether in Florida or Utah . Hire a qualified builder to draw a better set of plans that are clear and understandable and hire a reputable trucking company that can read and follow delivery instructions
So after working with Freedom Steel for a few weeks I am at a loss as to how dishonest companies can be and still be in business! I was told "we are the manufacturer. You deal with us. We do not piece this out...". WELL THAT IS A BIG FAT LIE! They are not IAS accredited, and after nailing them down the truth came out after I surprised the receptionist by repeatedly asking her. Then I was able to get the sales person to admit they "only work with twenty different suppliers and two factories." This is all of course after their VP wrote this in his email to me: "Our company is in the process of placing a significant order with our steel mills as a result of a recent sales promotion we ran. This allows us a bit of leverage with our vendors and can therefore pass aggressive savings to all our active prospects."
Sure makes it sound like they are the manufacturer. If you are looking for a Broker to work with then you found your company. If you are looking to work with deceivers who will tell you what you want to hear to close the deal, then you found your company as well!

I am very pleased with my shop and garage (36' x 42') I built it about 8 years ago and did most of it by myself. I had some help as my small utility tractor could not lift items from the truck or support beams during construction. I went with the roll up doors and did several and glad I did as I have great ventilation and versatility. The skylights make it so most of the time I don't even use my lights. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting a building. I'm glad I went with a steel frame as opposed to a pole barn.

My experience with Freedom Steel was the best I have ever had with something of this magnitude. I have ordered a total of (4) buildings from them so far without any glitches at all.
Perry is an awesome person to deal with and is very knowledgeable about the product he represents.

We have been incredibly happy with our building. My installer said the structure was well engineered and better than others he had installed. From ordering to delivery to full use, we couldn't have been happier. Thanks.

The one I bought has been up for over a year and so far so good. Materials where excellent and went together well. The building is solid and works for it's intended purpose. Can not say enough about the quality. As with all things, there is a downsize and freedoms is communication with the buyers. Asked some, (what I thought were easy questions) and was told I had to refer to the prints. In my case, I just wanted to know the dimensions for the concrete slab. And, after purchase, was told to check with my contractor and if all else fails, read the prints. So I had the concrete poured to my best guess, and came up short by about a foot on each side. Not a big deal, however it would have saved some time knowing the actual dimensions plus a foot.
All's well that ends well. The building is up, insulated and sturdy. Prints and parts could have been a little bit more "user friendly" in regard as to where they go. I guess having said this, I will refer to my four star rating.

We had the very best experience with Freedom Steel. They helped us through every step and provided excellent advice. It's the best decision we made. We love our Freedom Steel building and would do it all over again tomorrow.

It has now been 6 years since I assembled my building. I did have some help simply to speed up the process, but it all went together perfectly with a few extra parts as well!
I spent over 6 solid months deciding on what type of building style, material and how much I was willing to spend on my personal shop. When I finally landed at Freedom Steel, I was certain I was doing the right thing.
Freedom Steel's complete packages are the best...honestly. After I made my decision to buy a freedom Freedom Steel building, I was fortunate to help two other friends build their shops before mine was delivered. One was a pole building, the other a steel web style post and wood framing. First off, both of those buildings require siding to be solid, not so with Freedom Steel. Second, both used an amazing amount of wood (all wood for the pole building) for structural and siding. While on the roof of the steel web building with 1/2 the siding and roofing installed, it was still swaying and quite shaky. Again, not so with Freedom Steel. I used a forklift and placed ALL roofing panels on one end of the roof and simply walked the other pieces into place. There is NO WAY you could do that with any other building.
I bought a fully insulated building 40'x60' with 12' eves with two insulated 10x18 roll up doors, one man door and no windows. I have radiant heat in the floor. The reflectivity of the insulation really helps brighten up the place and makes it VERY efficient to keep warm in the winter months and helps keep it cooler in the summer months.
I'm not being paid anything to say this, but I honestly believe if you shop around and are willing to spend the money on buying the right building the first time (as I did), you will not find a nicer product, more complete, better built, easier to put together than a Freedom Steel building.
Would I change anything? Yes, I would have gone taller, likely deeper (50'x60' and 14-16' eves) and bought the gutter kit and maybe made the eves deeper (I have standard 6" eves) for more overhang.
This is my personal shop at my home. It is far nicer than my professional business shop was and WAY nicer than any of my friends shops! Best part is...I did not spend much if any more than they did. If they set theirs up like mine, they would be the same in price and would still have a wood structure and not near the finish level.
If I ever build another building or shop, I will be purchasing Freedom Steel again!
Terry is also very helpful and honest. He tells it like it truly is and will send you to someone or some building to check it out. I can tell a Freedom Steel building every time I walk into one now...and so far they have all been massive structures that make mine look like a shed.
