The disability journey can be tough enough. Freedom Motors, USA is a God send by opening the opportunity of a FREE demo and traveling to us from over a thousand miles away.
The demo vehicle was exactly as discussed and in clean condition. Dan was not pushy and let us thoroughly look over the demo, answered my questions, offered suggestion, and documented my inquiries that required a little research. He didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. I came away from the demo feeling confident we will have success in finding not only the right vehicle, but more importantly the right fit to accommodate my son that will give him a soon to be new found freedom.

We just used our van this morning for the first time. It was easier to use than we expected. Our experience with Freedom Motors was excellent. Our salesman Erik was extremely helpful and professional. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs a handicap vehicle.

My husband and I purchased a 2017 Dodge Caravan with side entry for his wheelchair. It was the best purchase we ever made. We did our research on the purchase of a wheelchair ready vehicle. Freedom Motors was the best company we found. They delivered the vehicle to our front door in pristine condition. The employees are the nicest people to work with while purchasing this vehicle (especially James Phillips). John and Pattie Keen from Delaware.

I have come to the conclusion that if you are in need of a modified vehicle, stay away from these guys. The staff is nothing more than a bunch of ill-prepared used car salesmen, with minimal knowledge of the needs of the people they profess to serve. I was sold a vehicle that is, in retrospect, unable to meet my needs (I am a tetraplegic), despite the salesman's best attempts to convince me otherwise. I was ripped off.
Contrary to company policy, no measurements were ever taken. I fell for the assurances of the salesman. My bad. The real problem has been trying to resolve the issues. This is where the "used car salesmen" shine. I am trying to get a different vehicle that is approximately the same price but with a slightly larger layout. It has become a numbers game, having nothing to do with meeting the needs of the handicapped consumer.
I will be chatting this situation up in (all) the various spinal cord injury forums, in more detail. In the meantime, stay away from Freedom Motors.

We spent several weeks researching handicap accessible vans from local and online sources. We received a call from Justin who listened to our needs and presented vehicle and restraint/tie-down system options. He leveraged his expertise to help us factor in other considerations. He researched and appropriated resources to find a van to meet our needs. He never leveraged high-pressure salesmanship but was foremostly concerned with finding a safe, low-mileage, and affordable vehicle for us. We did purchase a van from a local dealership and have no regrets. When I reached out to Justin to inform him, he was gracious and seemed genuinely happy we found what we needed. Justin's time and expertise was helpful to us and he deserves the recognition and props for going the extra mile.

10+ Stars! From beginning to end my experience with Freedom Motors c/o Dominic was great! Of course I had tons of questions, not ever having purchased a vehicle unseen was a bit nerve wracking to say the least however Dominic was very patient with me and my "repeated" questions. Thanks to technology and patient individuals such as Dominic we were able to communicate via telephone/text throughout the entire process. This has been by far the biggest investment I have ever made and Dominic was amazing at making me feel at ease with the whole process. I highly recommend Dominic/Freedom Motors to anyone in need of a wheelchair accessible vehicle! We love our 2016 Kia Sorento! It has been completely life changing and we couldn't be happier!

I Purchased a used Toyota sienna had asked the salesman to walk it and confirm that it was as clean as it looked on the photos and that the inside was OK. He got back to me and said that it was extremely clean in very good shape with no problems at all. When I got the van I had to sign off for quite a number of items that were damaged so that the delivery company wouldn’t get charged. There was rust on both sides that did not show on the pictures and was not told me by the salesman, inside the wiring for the attorney Chair is terribly frayed and will need to be replaced, I Called the salesman and ask him why he hadn’t told me about these things, he said well I never really was able to walk it because it was parked so closely between two other vans I couldn’t get to it so I just assumed it was OK. He had lied to me about his walk around. Also customer service is extremely poor as I asked him to have a manager called me and no one dead and I use their text link on the Website and did a chat with a chat link on the website and was told that someone would contact me, now after three weeks I still haven’t been contacted, poorest customer service of any I have ever experienced bar none.

We bought a Chevy Silverado 1500 conversion and it has been the biggest mistake ever. It went through quality control twice and still I have to keep fixing stuff. They glue the magnets on everything to work with the sensors and they keep falling off leaving us stuck wherever we are till I can get it fixed. It leaks air really bad cause the door doesn't seal right. The salesman tweaked the front fender before I left their parking lot with it, the fender needs to be replaced but all they did was realign it so there's a big gap and it sticks out a 1/4". I had spent a night there just so they could fix the door so it wouldn't hit the fender. Then after driving 9 hours home it didn't work and I had to take it 2 hours to the closest repair shop. I'm very dissatisfied with the truck and how ive been treated by them about it. This is my first negative comment I've made but I felt I needed to warn ours about these issues. I think we have to pay so much extra for these vehicles so we can enjoy life with our situations and we should get a high quality product in exchange.

I am very disturbed because the van we waited 8 weeks for was not what we received. When I spoke with Justine Laurette the sales manager he did not listen, he tried "sell me". We ordered 2 jump seats on a long channel ramp. We got bench seat across the second row making the van unusable. At no time did anyone express concern for the mistake. I was expected to fix the problem myself. When I order a customized vehicle I don't want to make changes. The administration was poor and unreliable.

I'm a new customer of Freedom Motors, I was going through a hard time because I had just wrecked my brand new truck. I just went to the bank last week to make my fourth payment and the wreck happened later that week. An old friend of my wife happened to call her out of the blue and My wife Laura told her what had happened. She directed us to Freedom Motors and that’s when I met James, he worked with me and put me in a beautiful 1915 pickup and him and Scott helped me more than I could ever ask for. They are truly kind and caring people and that’s hard to find in car dealers.

We were very pleased with Freedom Motors. They took our vehicle in on trade (gave us a good price), helped us arrange financing, and delivered our van to our house in Missouri. Anyone needing handicapped accessible vehicle should contact Freedom Motors first!!!

Shawn Carney salesman was very nice and personable in the beginning of our transactions as well as at the end. However in the middle I found it very discouraging when he never returned calls. At one point I really didn’t believe the sale was ever going to go through, so we contacted another vendor. Ironically, on the day of our appointment with the new vendor, I heard from Shawn. I would definitely recommend continued communication between sales and customers until delivery 6 weeks later.

We chose Freedom Motors based on the person who worked with us. Throughout the process we felt like Jim went all out to take care of our family. This purchase was a challenge financially for us and the timing was very difficult between health challenges with kids, handicapped renovations being done to our home, and the busiest time of the year for both of us as parents at our jobs. Jim did everything possible to make it simple. We also appreciated that when they found a potential problem with our vehicle they let us know right away and helped us to find a better vehicle to still meet the deadlines under which we were working. We can't say enough good about Jim as a person, professional, and advisor. We grew to trust him and believe he was looking out for us. He even drove the vehicle to us (across several states) to meet the deadlines for our loan and funding.
These folks seem to really care and want to do the right thing. We are only a few days with our new vehicle but it is a massive weight off of our shoulders to now have this.

Everything moved along nicely until a recall happened prior to shipping of vehicle.
Suddenly communication came to halt. Then received a phone call from sales manager stating approximate timeline ordering and arrival of part. But then had to initiate a response three or four weeks later to learn part hadn't even been ordered by the sales manager, and would be eagerly ordered (again?).
Now waiting for vehicle which may not even arrive before payment is due, and I haven't had a chance to drive it, test it out, etc.
Hopefully this is not representative of future experience(s) for anyone, not just mine.
