Worst service of any mobile service I have ever used in my city. So many times calls do not get to me but go straight to voice mail and texts just do not come through. I have went to Freedom multiple times, had my SIM card changed, had setting checked and rechecked, rebooted many times and still the problem exists. What makes this even worse is that I am on dialysis waiting for a kidney transplant and they no longer use pagers but use your cell to contact you. However this mobile service is NOT RELIABLE! They give no discounts on service but turn around and blame you. They tried to tell me on the phone that I just lost service when I was at dialysis and I said how come it also happened at home when my ride picks me up to take me to dialysis and he had to call my digital home phone because the mobile was not acting properly. It is not just my mobile as his is also through Freedom and he has the same issues. He has to reboot his cell every single morning to make sure it will work properly. I have the LG X Power 3

I am your current customer with 3 connections, your customer service sucks and your ELT internet is horrible ,dropping everywhere i go in BC, has glitches, you guys never improve and get my money. I have been with you wind/freedom for the past 6 years need to switch to a Better services now have no patience for you guys.

Turned off my service before the date of my payment was due. Went into store made the payment, 7 hours later still did not turn my service on I tried contacting multiple different representatives none of them in which helped. Finally made a call asked to speak to supervisor or manager multiple times would not do so STILL did not turn my service on. No one knows what they are doing or what they are talking about, quitting providers tomorrow and going with someone else. Service is terrible everywhere and very slow. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY, not worth the extra data.

My experience with Freedom Mobile was beyond awful. The salesman at Place d’Orleans told me that I would not experience any isssues with my network even though I lived in Orleans (Mattamy side of Avalon Encore). I was having connection problems as soon as I got home… in some areas of my house I wasn’t able to get a signal and sometimes my kids will call me and they weren’t able to reach me because the network was REALLY BAD. The cherry on the Sunday was when I went to play soccer on Greenfell Park near Slack Road on Merivale; I lost network and my wife and kids couldn’t get a hold on me. I recommend Freedom Mobile for people living around the downtown area but if you live in certain parts of Orleans, Kanata, Merivale etc. YOU SHOULD STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM PRISON MOBILE SORRY I MEANT FREEDOM MOBILE. Plus the customer service is comparable to a low cost airline customer service. Needless to say that I AM NO LONGER A CUSTOMER OF FREEDOM MOBILE.

Agents are not qualified, they put me on hold 25 times they canceled my number while I was in line speaking with you them, waited 45 min for an answer and at last I had to speak with a supervisor who couldn't even solve my problem. Ordered a phone and plan online. Gave them all my information and 700$ CAD. They never sent me a receipt. Almost 2 weeks went by of unhelpful discussion with in-store, online, and telephone agents. They never apologized. Took forever to get my money back.

This is by far the worst company I ever delt with paid 40 didn't activate my pay as u go had a contract with them didn't even want to activate a new sin car I paid for I'm still having problems wouldnt recommend anyone to go with them they keep your money don't refund or even activate the as for 4 digit pin I didn't even set up like really thinking of getting a lawyer paid more then 300$ still phone doesn't work or the pay as u go or the plan like total rip off unless u have money for lawyers I wouldn't bother there's other company's way better then this

Here is my experience with Freedom Mobile to say it left a bad taste in my mouth, well you can be the judge. First I visited there booth to see the promotions on offer and what type of phones would be available. That day there was a promotion going if you took a 60$ per month plan you could get the I phone 8 for 0$ down and 0 Tab. I agreed to the price and deal and when the employee said he would have to order the phone in I agreed and gave them a number to call when it came in. The phone comes in I get the call, so I go to the booth and find the same employee (always find it faster to go back to the same person). He starts signing me up to the agreed plan and has the phone about halfway through he stops. The promotion for the I phone had expired between the time I had ordered the phone and the time I went to pick it up (the same day they called). The guy thinking he should be able to call someone to get me the deal seeing as he knew exactly what he had promised made a few calls. They would not honor the 0 down and 0 tab. When I called the Freedom Mobile corporate number (as I know local employees can't do that much) the agent I got spent the entire time trying to convince me to get the more expensive plan and phone.

I used to think freedom mobile was the best and would tell everyone what great deals they had. That was until a few days ago when I realized they were overcharging me to use another network called ‘Nationwide’ when supposedly out of the freedom mobile networks range, which was in my own home! They had charged me extra fees (about $60) for using this feature that they had turned on without my knowledge for at least two months. I hadn’t realized my bill was excessive because whenever I’d try to login to my account I’d get an error telling me to try again later. When I called and asked to get reimbursed they offered me $15... wow! I feel like such an appreciated customer thanks for nothing Freedom!

I was on Freedom for what I thought was a cheap price. What was really cheap is its coverage. I have never experienced so many dropped calls. With that it actually cost more.

the WOOOOOOOORST service ever!!!!! I am supposed to be covered for Toronto area and Ottawa, and when I went on my trip to Toronto for 3 days I didn't have ANY service at all. On top of it, these customer service only know how to say "sorry sorry sorry, I understand" and do not know how to accommodate beyond those words. Useless, headache and stressful company. I am getting a headache writing this review. Horrible.

Excellent!! I have been with freedom for about three years. I live in the GTA and work in Brampton. I get excellent signal in both locations and even when I go downtown Toronto. I have an excellent plan that includes calling to the USA. They do not offer that plan anymore but customers who had it can keep it unless the customer want to change. I especially like that process that they didn't force me to change. Of course they are not perfect but who is.
I will recommend Freedom Mobile to everyone.
Keep up the good work Freedom. You have improved tremendously over the years.

If zero stars could be given I would give it. The worst cell phone company out there. They called me to renew my services with them and sent my phone to my old address which was 60km away from my home. I called fairly early to resolve and its now over 2 months and each person keeps telling me that they are working on cancelling.. 2 months!!!! Every "manager" I have spoken to is incompetent and has NO idea what they are doing. Stay away from freedom at all costs! Horrible Horrible company!!

I’m giving my experience with freedom mobile a 2 because it’s been less expensive than any other plan I’ve had. Other than that I’ve had nothing but a bad service from the start. Issues ranging from being told I was being put on one plan to finding out that I was put on a different one to not getting service in the middle of Kelowna. It’s been so many things. Hoping that my experience changes! I wouldn’t sign up with them again at this point.

The worst customer service you can ever get !
They over charged me and as I had auto payment, they did withdraw the money. When I notified them and they did accept , they sent me a cheque for the amount, so far so good BUT then after 1 month I received an email from dept collection company that I owe hem the amount .
I called and they simply said IT WAS A MISTAKE , your account balance is zero.
After 6 month, I am still trying to remove that from the debt collection company and the freedom have not sent them a simple email yet ! they just shoot me to different departments and the supervisor says my manager is not available, you should wait !
My credit is being affected and they are not helping after several calls ! sooo frustrating, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO !

Without informing me they started charging for images in texts. RANDOMLY. No warning, charged me convertly for months. No explanation. Horrible customer service when I contacted them. Money grubbing clown shoes. Stay far, far away, literally any other provider would be better.

Even when I’m dead center of down town, I live in Calgary, the network cuts out. No matter where you are, you’ll have service maybe 50% of the time, while the other 50%, you get nothing. I use to have Telus. Once I got a work phone, who uses Bell, I decided to forward everything on a cheaper plan and switched from Telus to Freedom. You get what you pay for.

Sales agents for Freedom Mobile offer discounts that are fraudulent. Changes to an account are impossible to correct or cancel. Customer service is terrible even compared to other wireless and telecom companies. Better to pay too much for some service than to have a small discount for next to no service.

To all freedom mobile users. If ever you received a call from someone saying “theyre from freedom mobile” please check your phone screen first, if it has a caller ID, usually 611/freedom mobile. I got a call tonight and the guy said “he was from Freedom mobile, this is recorded, you need to pay your monthly bill now or else your phone will be suspended. He didnt give me a chance to talk, he asked again if I wanna make a payment now? (sounded so agressive) I was like “if i wanna make a payment now!!?” he then asked for my pin digit number (not a pin on your bank card but usually fm user knows this. it’s usually use to access your fm account and anyone can check your credit card number on file) I was confused like this guy doesnt even give me a chance to think and talk so I looked on my phone screen and there was no phone number, it only says “unknown”. I said, why would i give my pin digit number your phone is not registered. youre a scammer” and then the guy said you can call the freedom mobile now. (he sounded like he is really working with fm) so i checked my phone again and stared at it like theres no caller ID showing. The guy kept on talkin, I wasn’t listening. so I ended the call. Dang scammer and stalker they know you are a freedom mobile user.
*Also, freedom mobile NEVER asks for your pin digit number, only when you call them. If ever you received a call from them, they will usually ask your name first and send you a code to verify.
