never use this service. Apparently they found my missing objects which were the ones described and I only received 1 object out of 6. They made me pay 12 euros for finding my bag inside the plane 10 minutes after I left and they made me also pay 60 euros to deliver it from London to Paris. There were cigarettes inside, a bottle of pisco and some canned spices. Apparently they now say that food is destroyed but after all the process.

Good portal, good ground personnel at pickup - appaling communication by the backoffice team. Emails written likethisallwordsinonelinenopunctuation and different people sending conflicting advise.
Note about your comment below: I will not alter my review, 3 stars is imho more than fair. I was given conflicting information about where to go with a total of three emails with the same header and when I asked to confirm if my chosen pickup location was possible, I received no confirmation. Yes, devices can take out line spacing. They do not however pull words together into one. They also do not remove cordial beginnings and endings of a normal business email.
Given the process three stars is plenty (i was sent back and forth between two terminals) and as I said merited mainly because of the charm, professionalism and clarity of the personnel at 2F baggage handling
Since you continue to press the point without checking the facts of your interactions with me and by doing so prove my point, i have amended the review to two stars. You state that there is only one place the ’kube’ as if I as the paying customer am supposed to somehow know this. Yet as I stated twice before it is your own personnel who need educating here not me the customer. This is your email you sent me below. I suggest you use this feedback to review your processes and training. I will do my part by recommending the same to your customer service department.

Thank you for finding the computer. However it would have been easier if there was a phone number and a person to talk to. Also people who loose something don’t always come back to that airport so there should be a link or help how to send the lost item back to the owner. May I suggest Mail Boxes Etc.

Informing people about found objects should be a complementary service by any airline as opposed to a business model.
They charged 12€ just to inform passengers about their found object.

Not very reactive, hard to know where to find the website on a mobile phone, very difficult to know where to get the lost object as nothing was indicated on the Cube and too expensive to get the object in Tunisia even though it was lost on a flight to Tunis. Was easier when Air France was handling it vs the subcontractor

I have to give 5 stars to the whole system. The culture of turning in valuable items, the diligence to make sure the right person collects the item, the Air France personnel, Stephane Bienne, who went above and beyond to procure the item for me before my plane boarded. I have rarely witnessed such effort in this situation. He deserves some special recognition for meritorious service. I will never forget his kindness and professionalism or the honest people that turned my iPad in to “lost and found”.

I was waiting 3 hours on the airport right after my flight waiting that somebody could go and take my passport as I was sure that it was on my sit .
After 3 hours waiting the guy from the office in Charles de gaulle told me that they didn’t find anything and that I had to apply on internet if I wanted them to keep checking about it.
After 30 min that I left the airport they sent me an email telling me that they found my passport and I had to pay to have it back.
They sent it after 3 weeks.
This is ridiculous, worst service ever.

The team at AF lost and found were very efficient and identifying my tablet which I left on the flight at CDG. They were very prompt in responding to questions and being very transparent in the process. I was able to collect the item when I had a 4 hour layover a few weeks later. The AF lost luggage team at baggage claim took my File Number and within 30 minutes, I had my tablet.

I am totally amazed how Air France handled the loss of my Ipad
It was flawless, professional
I went on line and described the Ipad I had forgotten on the Air France flight
A few hours I was notified they had found it and I could either have it shipped or picked up at their location in CDG
Open every day so very accessible
There a very nice lady took care of me and brought me personnally my ipad back

I was amazed that my lost phone was actually found and returned. Granted it did take about a month before I had my phone in hand; and it took a good deal of work to fill out the online forms to initiate the lost item. And there was a bit of paperwork for having my phone sent from France to US. However, it was clear that my phone had been identified and got to it's destination in a reasonable amount of time. It cost me a bit of money to get my phone back, but much less than a new one and I was able to retrieve all my personal information.
