Absolutely loved this store!! I was looking for new furniture to decorate my house, everything I found there was inexpensive and super nice quality. It’s hard to find nice furniture for a good price but I had no problems when I visited France & Son. The customer service was awesome, they helped me with everything I needed and knew the answer to all my questions. I also appreciated that all the staff was wearing face masks, they definitely prioritize health and safety. I have recommended this store to do many of my friends and family and they loved it as well. Can’t wait to shop there again and find more awesome pieces for my house !!

I was looking for a chair for my newly renovated living room, this place caught my eye with their incredible selection of designer pieces with prices you cannot beat anywhere. Located in Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, NY really recommend. I found the perfect chair for my living room and it didn't break the bank. The customer service was also great, Alexis had all the answers, directed me to the right section, and offered me great options and exactly what I was looking for. Really excited about my new chair! 5 stars to France & Son for bringing together my living room.

I have to say that France&son has amazing products for all types of decor and has the best employees to help you find exactly what you're looking for! I have recently purchased a marble table with matching white leather chairs as a gift for my mother who has had her eye on a similar set. This fit into our home perfectly and is such high quality furniture we really enjoy! I would really recommend shopping here!

I bought this barstool at France and Son and can't get over how great they are! They're so comfortable and look great in my kitchen. I could not find barstools with arm handles anywhere and this could not have been a better find! And they rotate which is a a huge plus. Got these chairs for super cheap and the customer service was so helpful. Could not be happier with the services France & Son has provided me :) Can't wait to go back for more great finds like this!

I have been a frequent shopper at the Tanger outlet and I stumbled upon France and Son. Upon entering I was greeted by a very enthusiastic young lady who offered her assistance. I decided to look around and found that there were so many unique pieces which were potentially multi purpose in its use. One particular piece caught my eye and not only was it aesthetically pleasing it was super comfortable. It was a sofa chair and I was able to get 2. They made a beautiful addition to my collection.
High quality and style all together. A wonderful find.

I ordered 2 of these from France and Son to put into the two opposite corners in my living room. Let me just say, they are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The customer service at France and Son was so helpful, they even went out of there way to follow up with me after the purchase. The packaging and logistics were perfect. Everything arrived on time, they notified me when it shipped out, just so great! I was even offered a discount. They even let me send them a picture afterwards - this allowed me to stay in touch with the sales representatives and now they are open to sending me quotes with coupons! They even check the stock levels for you right on the spot! This company is amazing and I can not wait to re-furnish my whole home by France and Son.

I bought the modern hay chair and absolutely love it! The staff was super nice and helpful, which made this a super quick and easy purchase. I ordered this Marble Dining Table and I am absolutely obsessed! It is exactly how I expected it to be and was delivered very quick. It is a beautiful marble that fits very well in my home. Read the online reviews - they all follow the same pattern and cadence (most of them even in bad English). I have a professional background in social media and recognize fake reviews from miles away.
Companies who buy online reviews don't win my trust.
I made a purchase once (guess what - the chair came damaged and it took very long to remedy the situation) but will refrain from further purchases.

My order did eventually arrive, but it took what felt like an eternity because communication from the company was very poor. I had to keep sending messages requesting the status, and it took about 48 hours each time to get a reply. The replies always contained some vague misdirection of the truth about the status, like "Your item is being prepared for shipping," which sounds like it's being prepared for sending to ME when it was actually being prepared by a third party for shipping to THEM--they weren't even in possession of the item for another three weeks. When I *finally* got indication that my rug was on its way to ME, it sat for several days with the FedEx status "A label has been created...you will get updates when the package begins to travel." A week after initial notification of shipping, it finally began to move. I have a feeling that the woman simply created a shipping label to shut me up; they didn't actually ship it for several more days.
When the rug finally arrived, it had been rolled and put in a cheap plastic bag. Even though it was rolled on the short side, because it was a 9x12 rug, that means it was shipped as a nine-foot-long tube. This was really unexpected and rather stupid since it was a dhurrie (flat-weave) and could have easily been folded into a box. The plastic bag was covered with abraded holes and I expected the rug to be damaged, but it wasn't. It did stink like mold and mothballs, though, as if it had spent many months (years?) in a warehouse in India where it was made. It's always risky to buy a rug online, and I really wish I'd been able to touch it and smell it before ordering. I think it was terribly overpriced.
Furniture, rugs, and other larger home furnishings have historically taken quite some time to arrive. Sometimes they're made to order; sometimes they come from foreign countries and have to be shipped over oceans. It takes time, and I get that. But when communication is this bad and the customer is kept in the dark unless they make a racket and demand answers(or are told disingenuous and misleading statements), customers start to wonder if they'll ever get the item, if they'll have to go ten rounds with the company to get their money back, or if they'll have to involve their bank for a chargeback for items never received. Customer service makes ALL the difference, and France & Sons is wholly lacking. At one point I even wondered if they were going out of business. It's extremely unlikely I'd use them again.

After placing an order I realized I had made some errors, in measuring and was so worried I would be unable to change my order. France and Son was very responsive and easy to reach both by e-mail and phone. I was able to make the necessary changes with ease and was very impressed by the service I received.

Tried to return some furniture that actually took months to get and then was sent the wrong one and after waiting weeks for the to file a claim with the manufacturer they are now charging me hundreds of dollars to return this furniture that is their mistake. Don't ever use this place! If there is a problem with the order you will have to pay big. Even if it isn't your fault.

Guys i never write a review but this horrible experience has led me to write this one. I wish i would have read all the reviews before i made my purchase. Now i am seeking legal advice for this matter. I ordered a sectional from the site. Some how it was a duplicate order, no problem i denied the second order cause why would i have two of the same thing. Let alone have the room. Well not only did they charge me for the second order which i did not even go through finalizing. It was there error, they are trying to make me pay for the restock fee on a product that they mistakenly sent to me. This is the worst experience buying furniture from a business. Please please please dont use this company. They will scam you one way or another. Its not worth it, i hope this helps. But learn from me

They lowered the price on an item shown by other sellers as out of stock then tried to get me to switch to another item, claiming a restock lead time of nearly 4 months.
It took multiple days just to get an agreement to cancel the order, and four days later I still have not received a refund. It's as if they hope the bait and switch will work and if it doesn't they look to the customer's credit card order as a short term loan.

I ordered an expensive mirror over a week ago from this place. I paid extra for shipping because they didn't ahve local delivery. I followed up asking when it would ship. Come to find out this item is NOT in stock and they just didn't even check. Good thing I followed up. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

I purchased a pendant light from France and Son and when it arrived it was damaged. I was so disappointed as I really loved it. Customer service got back to me immediately and after sending pictures of the damaged light, they sent me another one - arrived in perfect condition!! Joseph is awesome! Thank you!!

I ordered some brown leather stools that look way lighter online, so clearly they don't work. I contacted the company via email and they told me yes I can return them and $650 will be deducted from my original purchase amount of 1070. I called the number online and they said you can't talk on the phone to returns, only to sales. What a nightmare....u want the proof I've attached the email

I see posts here that mention incorrect website stock and long lead times and my advice is, if you like the product and you want design for a good price France & Son is a good option. Before buying get in touch with a sales person via email or on the website chat and DOUBLE CHECK with them before checking out. In my experience ordering from France & Son, I've always consulted a sales person to make sure I can order the right stock/ if the lead time is correct and it has paid off for me to make these extra steps.
From what I understand, France & Son has their own product line and also carries items from other distributors (which in my experience can have had longer lead times no matter who you buy from). If you are a trade member there is also a discount so that's a nice plus.

I ordered a wooden bench from this company that is defective. The seat of the bench is ½ inch higher in the front. It looks horrible and cheap. I sent photos with the measurements and I'm been told that this is a remorse return and that I will have to pay the shipping. Franceandson will not return my money, only replace the defective bench. Read their "scam" return policy very carefully. It does say that damaged good must be replaced with another item but it does not say defective. The bench I purchased wasn't damaged, it was built with incorrect specs.

I'm very happy to have found this site, as modern design and quality are what I need. I had ordered two light fixtures here, and had received exceptional customer service from Lou, who had gone above and beyond to replace a damaged part.
