I have purchased several items from fotosense. The items arrive quickly, well packed and the customer service provided by Holly is second to none. Emails are sent including tracking information. Lately I have been trying to find a camera bag to fit my gear which can be difficult when you can't see the items, Holly has gone out of her way to help. I have been 100% satisfied with fotosense and would recommend them to all. Looking for camera gear look no where else.

I ordered a camcorder. Homepage said it was in stock. After a week they sent me a mail saying I would have to wait one or two more weeks or I could cancel. I wrote to them instantly to cancel the order. They didn't reply or confirm. After one more week they sent me an "update", that the camcorder would be delayed another week (thou I had cancelled). I wrote back to them by mail and on their homepage, that I had cancelled the order. Stil no reply. After that I received several "updates" - and I kept replying: Cancel! When checking my account, I noticed the amount for the camcorder was deducted long ago, thou it hadn't been in stock or was even sent! No I'll have to wait for the refund. Not a good experience. Can't recommend!

Made an order on 26th of December, received two of the three things I ordered after over a week and still waiting on the third one to arrive (7th January) delivery was supposed to be within 3-5 days.
Will never order from them again.

I ordered a five pack of Kodak single use cameras. I was delighted to receive delivery of my order in less than 24 hours (Fotosense had promised free delivery within 3-5 business days!) Cameras were as expected and well packed.

I ordered a Lowepro Pro Tactic BP450 AWII Rucksack camera bag on Saturday morning, it arrived at Tuesday lunchtime.... Fantastic service... I would recommend Fotosense at 5 stars... After contacting Holly afterwards, I thanked her for the good service... It's easy to moan, but it's just as easy to compliment a great service - Thank you Fotosense... I hope to use you again.

Appalling service. Item was supposed to be in stock and have one day dispatch. They took the money, but so far have not dispatched the item and won't answer my emails. I'd rather pay a little extra and deal with a trustworthy supplier.

Rather than order online, I decided to do it the old fashioned way by phone. I spoke to a lovely lady called Holly, who talked me through my order of a Fuji Instax 70 camera, plus films.
It was an order for a last minute wedding present. It arrived on time and communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend them to others and use again myself.

Fotosense is one of the best companies for customer service I have ever came across. They went above and beyond with quick deliveries, product searches/ packaging and communication to ensure i received a parcel in-time for a crucial job on a weekend !! . I will 100% recommend everyone I know & more to use this company. You wont be disappointed. I will not hesitate to go here first for all my photography needs in the future.

They accepted order and took payment for a Peak Design Messenger bag on 25th November. It showed on their site as In Stock. I didn't hear anything else from them so I contacted them a week later. They apologised profusely and said they'd sent it out immediately and email me a tracking number. They didn't. I phoned the next day and they said they had no stock and wouldn't have any for 10 days. Their site still says "In Stock: Usually Ships 1 Day. I'm still waiting for a refund.

On the 14th Feb 2018 I ordered a camera, paid for quick delivery, then nothing, that is when I spoke with the lovely Holly, who I will say has empathy with the customer, thank you Holly without you this would have been one star.
I was told my camera was out of stock and that Panasonic were running late as they had a surge on this model? however all was not lost I was promised £100 cashback if I left the order with them, I was going away but I took another camera with me, so all good so far. My Panasonic eventually arrived, while we were away, on our return on the 2nd March I contacted Holly by email to say I had received the item. I was told the £100 would be placed in my PayPal account within the next 28 days. (30th March) The month of March came and went, April 3rd came no cashback, contacted Fotosense again and the email came back with more delays in payment, most of my emails through April were never replied too, finally on the 25th April I received and email apologising for my £100 cashback delay stating that I would be paid within 7>10 working days? then at 15:00 hrs the same day (25th April) I had another email stating that
"Further to our previous e-mail, we are pleased to confirm that your cashback has been processed and verified. However, the Promotions team are currently working their way through a backlog at the moment so you should receive a cheque payment within the next 21 days at the latest."
This is so bad that I am contemplating using my business debt collection agents to get official with this company in regard to my cash in their hands, but as its only been 4 months since I ordered the Camera and the promise of £100 cashback was made so perhaps the next few days will see their promise evolve if not, time to get legal.
I did say at the beginning that I was going to give 1 star for appalling service but Holly saved that, but on reflection after writing this and reading it back it can only be one star, Fotosense you really are bad as a customer facing business, you should be ashamed the way you treat us.

I have purchased from Fotosense through Amazon twice in recent weeks and BOTH products arrived "open box" though sold as "new".
The first was a relatively inexpensive item, a quick release plate for Peak Design's Capture Clip V3. I returned it and purchased from another Amazon seller because open box items must be clearly marked as such and sold at a discount.
Today my Peak Design EveryDay 20L Backpack arrived, and because of my earlier experience with Fotosense I took the precaution of asking the Amazon delvery person to kindly wait while I opened it and sure enough it was not in the original packaging which can clearly be seen on numerous unboxing videos on YouTube and which is very unique and has the attention to detail that Peak Design are known for. The bag I was sent was wrapped in grey plastic.
In addition to this when I opened the bag I noted that the dividers had simply been put in the bag and were not mounted and Peak Design clearly explain in their promotional videos that they send out the bags with dividers preinstalled.
I later noted that the "key fob" was also missing and reported it to Amazon and placed a full report on line on my website with photographs. However, due to TrustPilot guidelines I cannot insert the link to that here which I understand.
When I purchased the bag on Amazon it was listed as being new, but it arrived in the condition as described above.
There is an old saying that lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place. One random accident is understandable but not two like this and the second product was £229 which is quite an expensive backpack.
I personally will not purchase from them again.

I bought a Vortex Solo optic and found the communication to be excellent and quick, as was the delivery.
As a bank holiday was approaching they very kindly at no extra cost upgraded my delivery to next day to make sure I received my delivery in time.
Lovely to deal with, very well priced and a fantastic service, things not very often seen today.
Great company, well recommended.

terrible communication, wrong descriptions, simply just don't waste your time, Terrible service. I am writing to trading standards. as they didn't pay my return postage.
If you are after photographic equipment there are plenty of fantastic places to deal with
They asked me to amend or remove this review to give a part of my return postage fees. I refused. Normally acording the regulations if a customer return a product if not 100% functional as described, return postage should be paid by the seller. (at least a part or the cheapest option)
