Gave up ordering after spending 30 min to put in an address for my house in Phuket despite i could pick the right location on their map.

I signed up on the Foodpanda website but it didn't send me the code to verify my phone number so I contacted their online help and that's when things went from bad to worse. They rang me on the phone number that I provided and confirmed my identity and then told me that I had to verify my phone number online because they couldn't do it. By this time I had got something to eat from another source because I was about to die of starvation. The Foodpanda support team told me to just order anything and after the order had been placed and the verification code they gave me entered I could just cancel the order. I did that and then they told me that I had to contact their online help to cancel the order. I contacted the online help and they told me that the restaurant had already started preparing the order so they couldn't cancel it and if I didn't accept it I wouldn't be able to order on a cash basis in future. Like OMG, what a colossal screw up! Eventually after 15 minutes of explaining everything they agreed to cancel my order, but I might not be able to order on a cash basis in future. How does a company get it so wrong with genuine new customers???

After 4 contacts to support and a few weeks of total waiting, I am told that the refund papers I have been waiting on does not even exist. Several members has ordered them and given them deadlines, but they have never existed. All a great story. Apparently refunds made within 48hours of purchase are never made, while the money isn't captured. Whether this is the real story or just a new chapter in the fairy-tale is unknown. My Foodpanda account is ordered closed now, to save myself further headaches.

Terrible service and they know, so they turned off the live chat on the website.
They're late 3/4 times. Never apologises. No way to know when your food is arriving. Says 35 mins just after order, goes down and down, then back up. Been saying 2 mins the last 15 mins, now it says 5 mins.
They charge huge mark-ups too.
USE GRAB OR LINEMAN INSTEAD
