Insure you Lerner drivers elsewhere.. My 18 year old son passed his driving test 21 days into his 2nd year policy with this company. He had a £358.00 annual policy (paid monthly) and was charged £124.00 to cancel it 21 days in. He was unable to continue the policy as he had passed his test! We knew that was part of the terms and conditions, however what is very unclear is the charges you incur for doing this. totally outrageous. Its hard enough for young drivers to get value for insurance, but this company have just capitalized on this. Shame on you 'FLUX DIRECT'.
I paid the amount owed after my son received a letter just 10 days after cancelling the policy threatening court action against him.

Got insurance on my first car with flux direct, this policy came with a black box, the black box exploded and went on fire in my car while I was driving, that was just the first problem with flux direct. They then proceeded to harass me with emails saying that I had not in fact downloaded the app when I had and ended up having to send screen shots of my phone to them as evidence, if you are getting insured for the first time I would highly recommend looking somewhere else as the black box causes nothing but trouble and and they dangle the threat of cancellation over you.

The Insurance Co had made a subtle change to my Policy which I didn’t notice until I had paid the renewal premium.The subtle exclusion meant that the Policy did not meet my requirements. Gordon at Adrian Flux found another Policy, at no extra cost that met my requirements.

Used to be cheap but over the years I have been with them the price has increased considerably the only reason I'm still with them this time round is I didn't get chance to cancel before they had set it up again, and to cancel now I'll be strung with hefty cancellation fees.

DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY, 21 years old and accidentally submitted a yearly mileage of 1200 miles instead of 12000 ( I'm in the army and drive up and down the country alot) despite £1000 a year already being outrageously expensive I ran out of miles after just short of 2 months.. they then told me they were to cancel the policy if I didnt Increase the mileage to what they guessed would be 22000 and cost me £6000 more a year!!!!! When I said no I'm not going to pay that so cancel the policy they then informed me that I needed to still pay the full amount monthly EVEN THOUGH IM TECHNICALLY NOT INSURED!!!

I didn't even want to put one star. A shambles of a company. Constantly moving the goal post constantly messing up my payments so I had to be fined for late payments when actually it was there fault. Adding more and more and more money to my monthly payments to the point I'm having to sell my car as I cant afford payments ! £175 taken this month I wonder how much next month?

Why do you feel the need to charge me £27 for my bank rejecting my car insurance instead of ringing and asking me to pay? So now I have to pay £27 on top of my £70 odd pound car insurance. It’s an absolute joke. Always problems with this company never want to sort anything out.

I’m only giving these thieves 1 star because you can’t give zero .
I bought a policy with this company a few months ago online (monthly instalments) after the policy was live a week after I received a phone call asking for further information which a gave during the telephone call . another week later received another phone call asking for further information , which I gave , I also paid the full amount of the policy during the telephone call and was told everything is fine and they need no further information etc .
Then I was receiving emails asking for the same information details that I’ve previously gave , after a week or so of back fourth emails , I was having emails saying your policy is going to be cancelled due to not giving the requested information.
I then resent everything they asked for the 5th time and contact them by telephone also asking to speak to a manager, which of course wasn’t available at the time , but a manager would get back to me , to then have my policy cancelled and then asking for money for a cancellation fee .
This company is by far the worst insurance company I’ve ever come across .

Got insurance for my daughter and it’s been nothing but hassle with the black box and constantly wanting money whether it was £40 to change the address or £15 for a new box when it fell of her wind screen and that was her fault not the fact that the adhesive was rubbish! But she was to pay for another box to be sent out!
Then her car was off the road while her black box was sent out and cos they never registered it moving they cancelled her insurance!

Worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. We gave them all the information they asked for but then they cancelled our insurance on a bank holiday leaving us unable to contact them. When we finally managed to contact them they then called us liers abiut the amount of milage we did. They then said we had to up the amount of milage we had put down even though we said we had another car and access to another car and they tried to up the amount we paid. Even though we had paid in full. Then when we tried to cancel it and go elsewhere they then tried to charge us even though it was all a mess up on their side. They then wanted lots of other information like photos of the cars and other bits which we sent them 3 times but they then said we hadn't and tried to cancel the policy yet again. The only reason we are still with them is that we didn't want to have to pay to cancel the policy but we will not be using them again. They may have quoted us the cheapest price but we would rather pay more and deal with a company where they didn't talk to us like dirt or call us liers.

I received no notification that my car insurance was due just an email about a low mileage declaration which I couldn't fill in as, due to only using the site once a year i didn't know the password! The money for renewal was then taken from my bank account. a few day before I was expecting it, putting me into my overdraft. I had the money put by in another account but didn't get the chance to transfer it! Very poor service just expecting a customer to renew for all they knew I could have renewed my insurance wth another company!

My 18 year old has her insurance and has a black box,she is being threatened her insurance can be cancelled as the black box came off the window,in the hot weather it melted the sticker so it fell off,we have been told we need to pay for a new one 15 pound , why should we have to pay when its no fault of our own ,not really practical having a black box in a window .

Been with this company for 2 years now. No problems the first year but come to renewal was a nightmare. The lady tried to charge me more than agreed price and didn’t have a clue what she was doing. She didn’t even know how I could pay. Took me 25 minutes just to get it renewed and for her to take a payment.
