Absolutely awful customer service from these lot. I STRONGLY suggest thinking very carefully before taking out insurance with Flux. Their customer service agent was extremely terse, rude , constantly talked over me and effectively called me a liar. They refused to accept that a change in my personal circumstances meant that I was changing my van insurance from a commercial policy to a personal one and then proceeded to cancel my policy after one day, charge me a cancellation fee and effectively bar me from using and Flux group companies in the future. Thanks very much Flux, you have just accused me of committing insurance fraud based on nothing other than a ridiculous hunch from one of your overzealous underwriters. Compared to Alan Boswell who I have previous used these jokers aren't in the same league. No wonder you are 200th out of 210 insurance agents on Trustpilot. Be very, very wary of Adrian Flux, they are nothing but chancers.

Beware of this company, I paid for a years insurance and cancelled after five months as I sold the vehicle, which was a second car. When I contacted Flux Direct to cancel the policy they informed me that I wasn’t due a partial refund as refunds were not in the T’s and C’s and not company policy. I have contacted the insurance ombudsman as I believe that Flux Directs policy is unlawful and fraudulent. Further, I was not made aware of this policy at the point of sale, therefore I have been mis-sold this car policy. Be very very wary of this company 👎

Was a new customer with Fluxdirect for a few months as got a better quote. While I was out of the country, got an email almost threatening language saying if I did not contact them in 7 days, the insurance would be cancelled. My wife tried to contact them while I was away but they have so many different sister companies that it is task to locate yourself. Once I came back to UK, I got in contact with them, I was told since I did not contact them in 7 days, my policy has been cancelled.
I never had similar experience before although I have been driving for 7 years with no claims. Avoid these scammers like a plague

We had insurance with this company. My son had messages on email that he was driving badly but the app didn’t reflect this. Today they suspended the app and sent a letter saying he had been caught speeding 6 times in one day which wasn’t correct according to his car Speedo. There is a 10% tolerance as we know on all Speedo’s as they are not all 100% accurate. I now have 4 days to sort out insurance for my 17 year old son and after paying £1200 annual insurance with 2 months used they are saying £700 refund or £900 off another policy with them. He now has to answer the cancellation question on all quotes and this ups the insurance by thousands. Just disgusting and now my son won’t be able to get to college as we can’t afford to pay the insurance. NEVER GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

I Had some degenerate on the phone called ELLIOT..
who was telling me to lie about my occupation. My price online was £750 then it went up to £2850 when i rang them they then took £80 out my bank even though i didnt want to go ahead. STAY AWAY

Insure you Lerner drivers elsewhere.. My 18 year old son passed his driving test 21 days into his 2nd year policy with this company. He had a £358.00 annual policy (paid monthly) and was charged £124.00 to cancel it 21 days in. He was unable to continue the policy as he had passed his test! We knew that was part of the terms and conditions, however what is very unclear is the charges you incur for doing this. totally outrageous. Its hard enough for young drivers to get value for insurance, but this company have just capitalized on this. Shame on you 'FLUX DIRECT'.
I paid the amount owed after my son received a letter just 10 days after cancelling the policy threatening court action against him.
BE AWARE OF HIDDEN/UNCLEAR COSTS

First of all the company renewed my insurance without my permission and gave me a week to cancel it. Hopefully I read the email on time and had some time to think about it and make my own decision. I found better deal in another company than it was renewed. Then I made a call to Flux Direct and explained that I found better deal in another company. The costumer service was ok while the lady was looking a better deal for me. When she found and explained everything for me, she was in a big rush and didn’t give me enough time to think about the deal. I had to make a decision very quick. I felt pressure to choose this company. I decided to accept the deal but I was disappointed that windscreen wasn’t included into the insurance while other companies offered this deal.

Got insurance on my first car with flux direct, this policy came with a black box, the black box exploded and went on fire in my car while I was driving, that was just the first problem with flux direct. They then proceeded to harass me with emails saying that I had not in fact downloaded the app when I had and ended up having to send screen shots of my phone to them as evidence, if you are getting insured for the first time I would highly recommend looking somewhere else as the black box causes nothing but trouble and and they dangle the threat of cancellation over you.

Got my learner insurance with this company and payed monthly. That was all fine until I passed my test. I tried to cancel my policy and after 40 minutes of different people trying to sell me an insurance quote with them of about £4000 with a black box (which I didn’t want as I had a better quote) they told me I had to pay £400 as I hadn’t had a full year (I had 3 months left, I payed £36 a month for my insurance), which I refused to do. I now have to pay £50 a month to them until January which is absolutely ridiculous as I was told when I got the learner insurance I would only have to pay cancellation when I passed. They then didn’t even try to take out the money and I got an email to say I needed to pay it. I can’t find anything on their website to pay this and it’s getting ridiculous. DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
