They are a terrible service and need to be put out off of business! I made a order Sept 23 never received the order. Spoke to a Sup and they reordered it Oct 6. Oct 17 I still didn't receive the package. They told me it's the post office fault. Called them they said no it's whoever they have delivering it to them which is ups. Called ups they told me they s only print what they put on the label. I've been a customer for over a year! All my orders come to same address. This is my first time ordering since covid and I feel like they are trying to rip me off! I called them back and they told me to wait a few days still nothing! Now I have A payment that's due for something I never received! They keep blaming the post office, then blaming ups, then when that does t work they just till you to wait but in the meant they charge you for stuff you never got! This is NOT OKAY because this stuff of being bought with credit and can go on your credit if you don't pay even if you haven't received the item! End them now please

I was with fingerhut for 3 years and ordered quite a bit of items that were expensive. Every couple months they would extend my credit line and then take it back. I always made my payments on time except a couple missed and my balance never seemed to go down. At the end i was paying 70 dollars a month but not even half of that relected on my balance. So when i recieved my stimulus check i ended up paying the whole balance of 800 plus and closing my account. Felt good too.
Pros: they have a lot to choose from
May help your credit score
Cons: high interst rates. My advice would be to order something 100 or less if you are looking to up your credit score

About 2 years ago I joined the Fingerhut Fresh Start Program. On 09/30/2020 I placed my first order. I will not receive the order until 10/13/2020. 2 week shipping that is ridiculous! I paid full price on shipping. $33.00 dollars on an order costing $111.00 + tax. Also on the Fresh Start Program you fo not qualify for any discounted offers from Fingerhut such as free shipping or percentage discounts. Fingerhut Fresh Start Program is CROOKED. Bottom line first and last order made to Fingerhut it is crooked BEWARE!

Hi, Folks!
The fingerhut.com website is a perfectly safe site, I'm an account member there, and I buy merchandise from them too. Despite reviews, I've read from the other members within WOT. There is always someone willing to discredit a site, not based on user experience, that it doesn't necessarily suit their needs because they may have clicked on a link in their email sent by another source.
Don't open emails that you are unfamiliar with, and send it to spam inbox as being spam. So maybe that would cut the solicited reviews and or remarks to hurry up discrediting a perfectly legit company.
The sole purpose with Web of Trust, WoT, is with the utmost importance to you, the user, to make sure of its safety, to the community of its trust. In securing both the community internet user and the company, being reviewed, and is rated.
It's a safe, family-oriented, and kid-friendly website. It's my main concern as any internet user with a moral obligation to do. Have a great day. Best of Wishes, William

Instead of charging your first month when you long into the website; they will schedule it for a month in advance. Making you late on your first payment hence ruining your chances at graduation. I called and they were able to verify that I made the payment on time but were not able to do anything about it.

I have a Fingerhut Credit card, which was offered to me in 2019. They started me with a Credit line of $500. I barely used there card because whenever I purchase anything from them I always have to be returning them back appliances Jewelry etc. so I stop ordering things from them & was only paying off my credit card. They keep sending me credit line increased for me to purchase thing from them. & that it's temporary but I have to use it within a month for it to become Permament. I ignore the offer then they take it back. Now to my surprised I noticed that Fingerhut try to report to the Credit bureaus that I have a decrease of Creditline causing my score to Dropped. Right now I paid off Fingerhut having a o balance & they still have on my credit report that I am owing them a balance of $267. & I owed them nothing They are a nasty sets of Customer service agent & I want Fingerhut to have my credit score updated & ps send me out my 0 balance letter for my record & closed my account I would never recommend Fingerhut to no one there customer service stinks they Force u to take Creditline increased & then mess u up WHAT OUT for FINGERHUT 0 reviews Enclosed this is what they do

I had terrible credit and was in need of some products for my home and my newborn and with Fingerhut they open a loan of $200 in which I pay it quickly then in one month they increase my credit limit to $800 on top of that the items they sale are good quality best of all is that even though I was broke I got to used my $800 new credit limit and order others things I need for my house. The best part of Fingerhut is that bc of having an account with them my credit when from 400 to 585 and is still increasing. I love Fingerhut and will recommend to anyone.

Received a temporary credit line increase from Fingerhut. Contacted Experian, told them that unless I spend the full amount of the temporary increase, the credit limit would decrease. I was informed by Experian that this WILL affect my credit score negatively. Contacted FH, requested that the temporary credit increase be made permanent, and told of the Experian response. The reply, "As there was no error, the temporary credit increase will not be made permanent" unless I spend the entire amount of the temporary credit line increase. Why are there no class action suits against Fingerhut? As the parent company (Bluestem) has filed for bankruptcy, hopefully this scam company will be revealed for its ill-begotten efforts to destroy the credit scores of its customers.

This is the worst company I've ever done business with. I ordered a pro-form treadmill from fingerhut on 3/18/2020The process was quick and my treadmill arrived 3/26/2020. I put the treadmill together and once I took the cover off of the display console screen I noticed it was broken. I quickly called fingerhut and a representative informed me that I would receive a new display console in 7 business days. I called back on 4/23/2020 to see why I haven't received anything talked to representatives the First Lady informed me that I couldn't get another one because the treadmill was discontinued .. wow right and was told I could ship the treadmill back (at me own expense which is $110) and they'll refund me now at this point I've already paid them over $700 and only had a $50 balance .. I express how BIG of a inconvenience that is to me that a company sent me a broken item was dishonest about sending me a replacement item and now is telling me to ship it back with my own money is completely wrong and all she offered was credit and gift card which I informed her I didn't want because I wouldn't be doing business with this company again somehow the phone disconnect and that happen with several other reps which was frustrating. Now I know customers can be rude and aggressive but I am not one of those customers. I called back 4/27/2020 i called and spoke to two different reps and had the same thing both time which was clearly not a coincidence I decided to called back and ask to speak to a manager without giving any information but my name after being hold for only god knows how long I was able to explain to a manger the situation she completely understood my frustration including the fact that I paid them over $700 before my first payment was even due and she told me I would be receiving a call from the shipping company within 3-5 business days when I asked for a email confirmation I was told they don't send those which was odd I said ok she thanked me for my patience and that was that. It's now 5/08/2020 I've received no call from the shipping company and when I called fingerhut to speak to a manager I was told they will follow up with shipping company and give me a call which at this point I don't believe them you have 60 days from the moment you purchase your item to return it to get a refund and this feels like they're just pushing it off until then. Do not spend your money with this company

This company is a rip off at gets finest. I never miss payment with this company. I call when I was laid off due to COVID-19. I was told they would not add a late fee. Not only did they had late fees after not paying one week after due date but also added more interest. Customer service would not admit they were wrong. Never doing business with this company again. Run away from this company as fast as you can. You are better off saving your money for what you want. Only reason they got 1 star is because i was force to in order to post review. Don't deserve half of a star.

I received a generic and empty email back regarding my legit concerns TWICE and inspite of being promised "ON THE WEBSITE TERMS" if you don't get your product within two days (which was May 2nd) then give us a call or email. I do that and still nothing from this horrible business..With all of that...I finally get my.order and guess what.... ITS THE WRONG DAMN ORDER. THIS COMPANY FREAKING SUCKS

The highest interest rates ever! I encourage people not to participate. It should be against the law for interest to be that high roughly 30% . The product they sell are 20% above the retail market price value aswell. Buy Beware.

I was conned by this company and now my credit is going to suffer for it. FTC nor BBB will do anything about it. I was told I could postdate a payment then they never processed nor posted any notes regarding the conversation and completely ignored the elements of my complaint with headquarters and BBB. I was promised an investigation that never happened. In their response to my BBB complaint they claim that they listened to the conversation then turned around and said they have no records of the conversation and still BBB did nothing. I refuse to pay these con artists. I should have known better because they scammed my parents and charged him for stuff they never ordered and double billed them for stuff they did. This company needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

Ordered a $60 ring. Before I had it 2 weeks it broke into 2 pieces. I returned it and was told they wouldn't credit my account because it was broken. Called customer service and they said they were sorry but since it was broken I couldn't get credit for it but they would send it back to me if I wanted. I sent an email asking why they don't stand behind their products. They called and left a message to call them back. When I did they basically told me the same thing. That they could not give me a credit because when I received it it wasn't broken and it didn't matter that it was less then 2 weeks. Return Products can only be credited back if they are returned in new condition.

Unfortunately, Fingerhut tries to cater to the low income, low credit, uninformed customers as their customer base. I do have a credit line with them as I purchased one item from them about 1 1/2 years ago but will probably never purchase from them again. They jack their prices anywhere from 30 - 60% higher then what you would expect to pay at another retailer or on Amazon. Then on top of it you pay absorbent interest rates on top of that and you probably are paying 2x for that item you could have purchased from Amazon. Even though I am low income and am rebuilding my credit I will find better ways to do so then pay twice what an item goes for.

I purchased a drone. Drone propeller didn't work so I return it for an exchange. New drone was defective. So, I call customer service to process the return for refund. They claim to have never received the item. I then receive the item 6 weeks later. Keep in mind this whole time they are hitting my credit score.
So, I call them to process a return, this is when they tell me they have no record of the second return and that they cannot accept the return because it has been too long. I then ask the customer service person what my options are. Guess what her reply was...yep.. "We're being sorry that you are unhappy but we cant accept return. you must pay for item."
I will be filing a dispute with the credit bureau. The only reason I give this a 1 star is because negative stars aren't an option. STAY AWAY!! Fingerhut partnered with WebBank for their credit lines. Seems like an unholy alliance that rips off the customers.
I hear good reviews, but only from people that are happy with the item purchased. If you are UNHAPPY with the items, even if they are DEFECTIVE, guess what...you will have a completely horrible experience.

Due to a glitch in Fingerhut's system, they over took 300$ when making a $35.00 payment. I thought it would be a simple process but, instead we are going on two weeks without a refund. The 1st rep said 3-5 business days, then i received an e-mail saying it could be 11-14 business days and then another e-mail stating it could be 30 business days for a refund. Requested a supervisor and waited almost 3 days and no one called. Finally got a supervisor just to be told the refund processor is a 3rd party and there is nothing they can do about it. Then requested the corporate office number which by the way is 952-656-4376 and was met by a receptionist who asked for a name of who I needed to speak to, which I told her I was not provided that and she said well this is a 3 party company and i would need a name, I then said so not only has fingerhut taken my money but, now I can't even file a complaint to which she hung up on me, I called back she hung up on me again. I called back a 3rd time and she sighed and said as i stated i need a name. I called fingerhut to speak to another supervisor who then said they cannot transfer me or provide a name for who I would need to speak with, contacted the corp office again and she sent me to an executive rep customer service who did not answer. That was 4 hours ago and still have not heard anything back. I would recommend never using this company, as they don't take ownership nor do they have any sympathy for their issue. I am at a lost and don't know what else to do. If you need to buy things on payment plan, use HSN or one of the other places. Fingerhut, also over charges for shipping and for the item its self. An item that is normally $50 like a tablet, is $100 on there. Hope this helps.

I read all the negative reviews on many sites for this company! Well I feel like it's only right and fair to them that I come forth in their behalf as well! NOW MAYBR IM JUST LUCKY, but I have used finger hut many times (mainly for watches & shoes) and every time I have had nothing but a great experience! Not only have the things I have ordered arrived just like I ordered but the get here EARLIER then the specified delivery date. I have also contacted customer service on 3 occasions for issues I have had and every time they have been professional, helpful, and efficient (though they may be hard to understand) in getting the issue resolved. They also gave me credit and a chance when no one else would and have helped bring my credit score up to a 600! That may not seem like much but if you only knew where it was to start. I am not saying they are perfect no company is but when there has been a problem they have gotten it fixed and if you ask for anymore then that well your the problem. That folks is a honest review of this company from MY EXPERIENCE. I say give them a shot spend $50 bucks and judge for yourself I say if it works they way it did for me the. It was well worth the $50. Hey and if it doesn't then oh well I have had worse happen. Hope this was helpful have a good one guys.

I ordered a HP laptop for just over $300.00. And a Galaxy android phone for $240.00. After paying $300.00 toward my bill,...my balance was OVER $400.00!!! ($440.00). Four months after receiving the laptop, it quit working properly. Customer service was a joke. Pretty much got "the run around" and suggested all the things that (I) could do to fix the problem!!!! What's wrong with THIS PICTURE!? I ended up paying $110.00 to have it repaired, (needed whole new motherboard)not to mention a MONTH without it's use. WHILE I'M STILL PAYING FOR IT!!!!!!! You can believe that when this bill is finalized, they will NEVER have my business AGAIN! And I will DEFINITELY deter ANYONE from doing business with them. Their charges are OUTRAGEOUS, their business ethics ....Deplorable!
