It started positive, as they seems to be polite and nice. The RV was decently clean both inside and outside.
The space was a little tight, but thee RV did fit 5 adults and 3 kids. There are no absolutely no tableware, cups, knifes, pots or pans in the RV.
The interior of the RV is a low quality, and everything inside is fragile and easily broken. This is where you have to be very cautious as you will be charged premium for even small things. The suspension of the RV are with very low tech leaf springs both front and back, this means that the RV is very wobbly, we gave it the nickname the sailboat. The general noise level is extremely loud both from the engine and wind noise.
The 3 week trip went well we were all happy, until we returned the RV.
They wanted to charge us for an worn out plastic table, because there was some holes in the corners of the table. We refused to pay as the table was so old that the plastic was very brittle and the holes there upon pick up. We just didnt think that they would charge us for a old camping table. After about 45 minutes of discussion Expedition Motor Homes (EMH) finally decided not to charge us for the table but then they found a small dent in one of the panels. We all believed it was there when we picked up the RV, but we couldn't prove it as we didnt take any pictures of that area. We got charged 275$ unbilled repair for a small dent. They claim to change the whole panel, but we never got any proof that it was actually replaced. Thats why im saying as close to a scam as you can get.
If you ever are going to rent an RV from EMH make sure that you got pictures of every corner of the RV, or they will rip you off. You have to prove that the damage was there before, while i believe that it should be the other way around. They should prove that you made the damage. Upon return i expected to have my security deposit paid back quickly, but that never happen. I contacted them twice, with no response. The third time i wrote a “demand for payment letter”, that's the last step before a filing a lawsuit. I finally got the money 3 months after i returned the RV.
I can’t recommend Expedition Motor Homes to anyone.
