The layout editor is terrible. It displays completely different when in use then whats shown within the editor. The desigtools feel outdated and getting a normal looking invoice or quote is nearly impossible

Went with exact online end of 2016-early 2017, looked a very good system, and it turned out to be a significant system for the money and installation process & team are great, BUT.... there accounts are woeful.
Set up a direct debit, this failed 3 times as there accounts are terrible, then I’ve finally set properly, we were billed a “List” price over a period. This was approx 6-7k that came out of our accounts incorrectly. After months of trying to get the money back we abandoned the install due to this reason, if they can’t sort out there internal accounts, what hope have we got with urgent technical issues. This is a shame as the product is good and technical help (UK team) are good (accounts is based in Netherlands)
We had to claim our money back through the direct debit guarantee around 7-8 months later as they still hadn’t resolved it.
Now (Oct 2018) we are getting statements from what we thought had been resolved!!!! This company unfortunately need to sort out there own in house procedures before they an reliably promise anything, but contact with accounts etc is completely unrealiable. I couldn’t be paid to go back to exact systems, avoid at all costs in my opinion.

It is a really good system,
I like working with exact online it is really easy to fill in the owners and it is easy to use.
