Takes your money without notice - no live person to ever talk to. No integrity. Go somewhere else.

This site is well intentioned but it has a lot of flaws. I chose a "Save the Date" card. I paid premium to avoid the ads. In the card I promised to follow up with guests about the details of the party. When I finalized the details I sent an update to the people that had RSVP yes. Many did not see the update because it went straight to their junk mail. This cost me over $500 on meals I had to pay for people that did not show up. It not only made me look bad, it cost me a lot of money. One cannot trust this site. And there's no one to call for questions. All you can do is review FAQ's or send a text message for someone to return the next day.

Tried every which way from Sunday to join the zoom group, and was completely denied access —perhaps because I don't have an evite account? This for sure makes me NOT want to have one! So disappointed!

This Co. Is not legit. Going to contact Better Business Bureau. I bought a pkg of 25 invites for 14.99 and half of them were not sent. Now I have and xtra charge if 92 dollars and did not authorize this or buy anything else. Bi answer to my emails so will report them to Federal trade commission so they can shut them down

Terrible that the whole invitation is covered in ads. Could not see the childs picture without scrolling up or down to read between the ads.
Frustrating to say the least!

I uploaded a custom image to create my invitation as they had very limited designs, and after 3 months the image had disappeared from the invitation. Mind you it cost $59.99 to use this option, and I couldn't believe the image upload had really disappeared. This is the worst site to create invitations. The only reason I used them, was because they were the only ones that provided a link via text. I will never use them again. Maybe use them only for the free basic designs.

I hated using evite. Its not user friendly, its expensive for what it is, every feature is designed to cost more money - even changing an email address for a friend. In a time of a pandemic when we are trying to celebrate events virtually I think it is shameful that you are gouging customers this way. I will NEVER use this service again, and will actively tell others to avoid it at all costs. Waste of money and about 4 hour of my time trying to invite 15 people for a zoom call. Unbelievable. I want a refund.

This used to be a great app and user friendly, but this year it was disastrous. The way they charge for add free invites is in increments and the increments don't connect to your first buy. I not only was overcharged for my evite, but ended up having to make calls to the invitees because evite was not sending their invites and when it did, they couldn't respond. Will never use it again and have filed a complaint.

This app used to be very functional and great. Something terrible has changed in the last two years and the support is equally bad. I have been trying to send more than 12 invitations for two weeks and each time it won't send the extras and makes me pay the fee all over again. Support has been basically useless. I will never use this app again.

Last year I was charged $12.99 for the no advertisements and this year, it is a disaster. Never had so many issues and they keep wanting to charge more every time i add a guest.I think it would have been better to send invites in the mail. not worth the price. no humans to resolve payment issues.

Too many problems to state here. Mainly, not being able to add invites I paid for. Non-existent customer support after several requests. No phone line or real time chat. Very frustrating. This should be a simple process.

I have used a few times to spite there system is not that user friendly.
However I had an issue that really interferred with my guests and rsvping to the point it ruined my rsvp and guest list. The lack of help and smug answeres are beyond being an issue. First time at 56 years old I ever did a review/complaint. Must find a new company for my invites. The good news is tonight I am going to let all my Bunco team friends know this is crap and time to go with a new source. Consider yourself warn prior to using. God forbid you have an issue and need help! Beyond disappointed. I should be reimbursed for the stress this caused, how dare them.

I've used Evite for years, but the last 2 experiences have been nothing short of a nightmare. They charged for extra invitations, which is fine, but then they failed to give us all the invites in one case and in the other, the website failed to send them out. Here's the customer service responses: "We appreciate your patience during this time. Currently, our support team has received an influx of tickets and is working diligently to respond to your inquiry." In other words, we're too busy to help you. And then when I wrote back and requested my money back: "In this case, we would kindly advise you please try removing those guests from the Manage Invitation page and then adding them again on the Add Guests page." To do what they say I'd go over the number of invitations I bought and would have to buy more. Stay away from this website!!!!

Found this info on my credit karma website:
'In may 2019, evite's database was allegedly breached - the exposed data included in archives that dated back to 2013. Breached info could include usernames, passwords, phone numbers, and email addresses. Even if you don't use your evite account now, it's important to protect any info that was possibly exposed.'
It goes on to say that breached info includes date of births, email addresses, genders, phone numbers, and physical addresses.

For years my ex and I have tried to unlink our accounts and we went through the "Help" and did this and that and they're forever linked if you want to still use your old email address. My email pulls up her contact info even though my email was the primary. Impossibly stupid that even if you want to delete your account you have to go through their help desk. Why? Why can't I just freaking delete and sign back up. There's so much wrong with that. It's not like they're some important agency like NSA.

Way too many ads. Site simply does not work reliably. 100 times I have seen the message "Sorry. Something went wrong. Please try again later." I will never use it again.

I received an evite in March, 2019. On the invitation was a link to buy gifts. The link took me to Amazon.com and a list of toys/books. I purchased two books and had them sent to birthday girl. Father informed me that they wanted no gifts. It turns out the link to buy gifts was UNMARKED advertising. I have informed Amazon and my Senator

I was unable to process a simple evite. It wouldn't let me proceed to the next screen and didn't give me any explanation as to why. Just a red bar. Wasted a bunch of time setting up an event just to not have it work. Not going to use them again.

As a volunteer one of the worst site interactions I have ever encountered. They actually have ads that on the surface appear to be part of the site. I would rather interact with sticky notes than this crazy site. 2 5 19 Roanoke, VA

For the past three years I used Evite to send invitations for an annual Christmas party. Every year Evite would incorporate my guest list into this year's invitation. Until this year. Out of a guest list of approximately 140 different email addresses, Evite incorporated only about 20. The rest...simply gone. So I contacted Evite by email for assistance. Their response? None. Wow. At least respond. But, what would you expect from a free service that has gotten dozens of bad reviews online. My solution? Contact their advertisers. Hit them in the pocket. That's obviously all Evite staff cares about.

Unless you have an infinite amount of time, forget Evite. The software and process make no sense. I have spent HOURS inputting names and then they disappear.
Screens pop up to input names with no connecting page. Where to go next?
I have also tried to upload CSV file. Nope. Nothing.
I have been working on this for two days. Before that, it took forever to set up the invitation itself.
Their support is web-based with no relevance to what I need. They must do that on purpose because their product totally sucks. I wish I could get my money back. BTW I am pretty tech savvy.

Spent two weeks with tech support for unrecieved invitations that I paid to have been sent to all my guests. Was instructed to email my guests to check their junk/spam. The invitations were not there. I tried to send a txt link but evite denies them, claiming it must be through email only. Tried resending the inviation manually. Also emailing guests a link. The most fustrating unreliable service! Half my guests didnt get an invitation. Please save your money. Do not use Evite. Unreliable service.

Made more work out of trying to organize simple party.
I would rather type the invitations and send them via snail mail!
