Basically my experience was positive. Two remarks nevertheless.
It deemed to be neccessary to exchange the first car. The right rear lamp was damaged (already when I picked up the car). This lead to a situation in which I was not allowed to use the car on the site of a factory. Thus a change of the car was required.
Secondly: During the change of the car it was not possible to communicate in the English language. The empoyees nevertheless were very helpfull and friendly.

The Office was not open at 9:00 h in the morning.
The Mobil number was not availible to reach.
The possibility, that car rental is possible near by to the Harbor is not decripte at the Internetside of Europcar Martinique.
The Young gay from Europcar Martinique was frienly and helpful, but he was 20 minutes to late.

I chose Europcar due to having the best deal available - Though the price was great, there were a few inconveniences that will make me choose a competitor next time over Europcar.
1. In line at the airport, there is no organization, there were 4 lines for 2 people - nobody knew who was next.
2. I was charged 1 extra day, I was told by the agent "we are not in France, we are in Martinique, I cannot refund you" - what does that mean? You are under-developed? You cannot take care of your customers and treat them like normal people? She then informed me that I had to call the center and go through the Bureaucracy to get my 25E back for the extra day, I called and was told it would take 1 MONTH... UNBELIEVABLE.
3. I was "upgraded" to a van from a smaller car, it is NOT an upgrade, it is an INCONVENIENCE. I chose a smaller car because the roads are SMALL in Martinique, now I have to drive with a bus all over. When I told the agent I did not want this big car, he replied I had no choice as they didn't have anymore cars.
4. The person who did the inspection mentioned 1 ding in the back but did not point out a MAJOR ding on the driver door - I had to call to get that rectified.
5. Edit: The van outside the airport had to do 3 turns before we were able to get in. We waited 45 minutes in total to get to the place to get our car. People were fighting for spots and not respecting any organization or lines - I almost got into a physical altercation with another passenger who was cutting us off.
Overall, happy with the price, but very dissatisfied with the service - I will NOT repeat, and i WILL rent from the competitors next time.
