Make sure you avoid using their ATMs as it is just a rip-off. Also, they're destroying many cultural heritages with their ATMs.

Exchange rate is horribly low. Also my card got scammed. This was in Venice by Piazzale Roma, just next to the ticket office for the ferries.

253 $ paid for a withdrawal of 200€ = 221 $ is somewhere near the 15% mark - is this not illegal ?!??!!!?#shocking #daylightrobbery

I don't want to give euronet even one star!. We were charged £64 for a €100 euro withdrawal in Lisbon. We were paying for a tuktuk(another rip off!) and the driver referred us to the euronet atm. It has now been referred to our bank for fraud investigation. This company is american owned and they are merely a bunch of crooks, scamming tourists. Avoid!!!

Euronet is an absolute scam preying on tourists unfamiliar with local currency denominations and exchange rates. They deploy deceptive dark patterns on the screen options tricking you into their rediculous exchange rate. It is an American company also associated with RIA money transfer. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Charged over £5 to take out £10.00.
Robbery.i had no choice as was only atm within 10 miles. Stay away if you can. I hope such companies go the way of the payday loan companies and have to pay back all the money they have stolen.

I wish I had read about this sooner. After landing in the Rome airport I looked for an ATM machine and these machines by Euronet were all over.
Yes I got ripped off with an exchange rate way out of line. Yes I was jet lagged and wanted Euros and was too trusting.

I used an ATM in Amsterdam and was charged $679 Canadian for 400 euro. When I contacted Euronet with my complaint they implied that it was my fault.
I will be following up on this transaction with my bank here in Canada.
As far as I am concerned they are thieves and should be ashamed of what they are doing.

13% transaction, worse than a credit card.

They charge a 12 percent mark up and give a terrible FX rate

They apply a too high commission, about 13%.
Unfortunately no other choices here, but if you have an alternative use it and avoid this service.

£84 Out of Pocket.
Either a fraudulent company or a malfunctioning machine. After attempting to withdraw £84 in Croatian Kunas, the machine simply debited the amount off my account without ejecting any cash. Frustrating experience.
Nakon povlacenja sredstava (700kn) s bankovnog racuna, bankomat Euronet-a nije izbacio navedenu gotovinu. Frustrirajuce u najmanju ruku.

Horrible exchange rates, waaaaaay too large amounts suggested for withdrawal, and tries way too hard to get you to use their bad conversion rates instead of your own bank (which is much cheaper). Scam.

scamming and close to robbery. Do not use the EURONET ATMs, you will lose more than 10 percent. They give you an extremly bad exchange rate. Find another solution.

On the 28th april 2019 I bought Euro and paid 1.14 Swiss Francs fior 1 Euro. On the 1st if May I used a bank machine from Euronet in Cascais/Portugal and paid for 1 Euro Swiss Francs 1.29. More than 11 %. The organisation Euronet are criminals, do not use them all over in Europe.

Don't withdraw foreign currency from one of Euronet's cash machines unless you are prepared to pay an extra 5.6% premium for this service compared to a regular bank. If you e.g. withdraw 100 € a bank will charge you 760 DKK, Euronet cash machine will charge you 803 DKK. A 43 DKK mark-up. Last time I've done this!!!

I withdrew EUR from an ATM in Romania using an EUR card and they charged my account in RON at a poor exchange rate, and then my bank converted the charge back in EUR, again at a poor exchange rate. For 650 EUR withdrawn i paid 675 EUR.

Worst experience ever. I made a withdrawal in an atm in Copenhagen, the money didn’t come out but it was reserved from my account. I called Euronet who told me that I had to make a claim through my own bank. My bank told me that they’re not able to make a claim as long as the amount is reserved and not charged from my account, and that a reservation can last up to 30 days depending on those who made the reservation. Euronet couldn’t tell me when the money would be charged and said that they already charged it, even though I tried to explain that it’s only a reservation. So my bank is depending on Euronet who says they’re not doing anything. Besides that, LOWSY service and they don’t even LISTEN. Remove those atms from my country, you’re way under the standard for Denmark!
