Website is not Mac-friendly, reservation portal is A FAKE. ONLY USE 'BOOK RESERVATION' ON THE MAIN WEBSITE.Very confusing and frustrating to find that and use it, only to figure out later that it is not the right website. Thank GOODNESS we hadn't paid yet.

Quick, easy, painless. I was able to figure everything out seamlessly and purchased my Eurail tickets without any hassle.

Very very useful trainpass but in a world of online travel, requiring hard copies of the eurail pass sometimes made it difficult to travel.

EUrail pass sounds great, but is riddled with inefficiencies. Many trips require 8(!) business days to process. The tickets are paper tickets, not E-tickets, and need to be shipped to you. When trying to book routes from one city to another, the service will fail to find the best train connections for the shortest trip. For a service created for travelers, it could not be less accommodating.
Furthermore, there is no way to actually speak with an employee over the phone. The only form of communication is email and WhatsApp. I sent an email and never heard back. They claim they respond to WhatsApp within 8 hours but it took them 48 hours to respond to me. The savings just are not worth the inefficiencies and bad customer service.

Very pleased. Not the cheapest, but easy site to understand and use. Received pass in three days, six days earlier than the date given.

It was difficult to figure out what to do when a leg of the journey was not available when I went to make reservations; yet the trip planner said it was doable and even gave me the depart and arrival times/stations........what a surprise! Then it was tricky to figure how to get a leg that would work. Still not sure it is correct but I here the Eurail people are good to work with so, seeing as I had trouble with the last leg of the journey, I'm sure we'll get it right before that time comes to the front.

Improvements and Transparency Needed
I never really leave reviews, and I admit that I'm sure there were mistakes/oversights that I made during the process of booking my trip, however:
1) I've sent over ten emails and messages via either the feedback link, their "contact us" form, or in response to ticketing emails (as they request). The only responses I've received were days later, only to the ticketing emails, and not very helpful.
2) Certain costs and conditions aren't explained well enough. Reservation fees in my case were almost 50% of the cost of the pass. There's also no indication of whether or not London classifies as a "country" or simply a city that's part of the "France" railway network...Which makes a difference when selecting a global pass or a 4-country pass. No one got back to me on that question.
3) There are certain glitches/shortcomings in the site when making reservations. I booked one train for a Sunday afternoon, but when I received my tickets, the train leaves at 6pm. When I asked for a reimbursement of the reservation fee in this case I was asked to provide a screen shot?...Just try and book it yourself and see what happens! Also, you generally have to enter your birthday for every reservation...no matter what device or browser I tried, you literally have to click through every calendar month in reverse to get to your birthday...rather than being able to enter a date or simply input your personal information once.
4) Certain trains are only available to eurail passes because they're at a discounted rate (ex. Eurostar)...so you have minimal options for booking.
5) If there are any adjustments that need to be made to the tickets, the reservation fees are almost never refundable...and Eurail does very little to adjust your fare on your behalf.
In conclusion, it's often not really saving you money... especially if you know in advance what days you are traveling and if you're only taking the major routes between cities. If you're thinking that their booking service will save you time and offer services in helping you adjust fares, make itinerary changes, etc. they haven't in my case...and the site can be cumbersome/frustrating.

When I purchased my global pass the date of delivery was before or on June 6. iT was not delivered on 6/6. With the tracking number I checked the website and it was scheduled to arrive on 6/7 by 3 pm. It was not delivered on 6/7. I just checked again and it says delivery rescheduled but doesn’t say when.
I am leaving to London tomorrow to take the train to Belgium and I don’t have the Global Pass.
What should I do?

Website is good, but I had no idea this company does not offer proper customer service. I would have purchased through another company if I knew I could not call and speak with someone. How does one get questions answered when trying to complete a reservation? I emailed a very important question concerning the spelling of my name and never received a reply. I pray that my pass comes with the correct name on it as my trip to Europe is in 2 weeks, and I live in the US.

Since 1772, I have had at least 19 Eurail Passes. I know I have had more, but 19 old passes are all I can find in my records. A Eurail Pass is by far the best way for a tourist to get around Europe. Almost everything a tourist would like to see is close to a railroad station. Getting a Eurail Pass on line is quick, easy and highly recommended by me.

This was an exceptionally well-organized site that easily walked me through the process. Two suggestions to make it even better:
1. Have users create a logon and the log in prior to beginning the order process since you have to have a logon and be logged in in order to finish the process. Failing that, after the first step, put a "Log In to Continue" button in a prominent location to emphasize the need.
2. Have the difference between 1st and 2nd class reservations available as a pop-up or dropdown on the choice page so that you don't have to go to a separate page to find out what the difference is.

Good online booking experience. I was able to retain the booking I made days ago (cheaper) which was automatically saved by the site and I was only able to close it just yesterday. Saved a lot of money in the process.
Excellent!

I like how your website is organized and contains all of the information that one needs to buy the correct pass, see timetables, and book/reserve seats on the trains you need to take to reach your destination(s). The site is straightforward, informative, and well thought out. I've never travelled by train in Europe but I already feel like I've done it many times.

Actually they have a great service. The problem was just that I order a cancellation some hours after I'd bought my pass, but they couldn't process it before it was shipped, so I'll only get 85% from what I've paid. I wish they had processed it at the time I requested. But I understand that it's not that simple sometimes.

We received tickets for three individuals for travel in two countries. I'm a little concerned about documenting the trip everyday because you must annotate in pen and if you make a mistake you lose a travel day. I assumed the tickets would be punched for each day of use and when you spent several nights in one country they wouldn't count. I guess we will see what happens.
