Nice and easy. Although a little irritated at how much we pay in registration for vehicles in California. For myself and my daughter, close to $800. !0 times the amount of any other state...California is beautiful, but come on. Mr. Newsome, how about a little help with this?

This is a rip off, why should I have to pay extra fees other than the fee to register, just because I purchased my registration tags on line, because the dmv office is closed due to the Clovid-19 crisis? My tags costs $156, then they charge a $4.95 fee and another $29.95 fee for a total of $190.90. This is ridiculous! I will never use DMV online again! Rip off service! Displeased customer, Kathy Davis. If I could give a minus star rating I would have.

I think the additional cost of $34.90 added to my original fees for renewal of $152.00 to use this method of payment in this day and time when we all are being asked to stay home because of the virus is taking advantage of the times and the added cost should not be charged to us until we get back to normal again. Then it would be a personal choice to use this method for payment rather than to have to!!!!!

the tags were $301 but you tag on another $34 dollars in fees if we do it electronically. What a rip-off . You would think saving paper would be more important, plus during these hard times and the fact that many of us have been laid off (including me and my wife) the DMV or whoever is running this site would give us a break, but I guess not.

My husband tried to do this on the phone and got so very upset due to the automated assistance not being able to understand him. If he had waited to talk with an operator, the wait time was 19 minutes. This process on-line was actually fast and efficient. Thank you for keeping us safe- I really did not want to stand at the DMV around potentially sick people.

Registration in California is already outrageous. I'm being charged 29.95 to e-file my registration, which saves labor on the DMV end. Also, the office is not taking appointments due to Corona virus, so what choice do I have? Seems like price gouging to me.

I usually order directly from my local tag agency and by accident, I clicked of the wrong link. A cistky mistake during a time if crisis in this country. Very disappointed!! I was changed $ 25 over what the tag agency charges. Buyer beware!!
