Unfortunately not the best customer service experience I have had.
I am a long time high end watch collector and I was not very impressed with their customer service. I had to chase them to purchase the watch.
When the watch arrived it was missing the paperwork.
They took money off in order for me to keep the watch.
I purchased a new old stock piece.
The watch runs very slow and is in bad need of a service not real pleased with my purchase.

When I contacted Essential Watches, I spoke with Irene and was interested in purchasing a band for my watch. I asked her if she would be willing to sell me the band alone off if one of the watches she had in stock. She told me that she would. She gave me the price of the band along with its normal retail price (and she was 100% accurate).

Their pricing was so good that I ended up purchasing the entire watch from her for less than the band would have cost alone had I gone elsewhere.

When it came in, it was perfect and exactly as described but it was a bit small so I told her that I needed to purchase a link for it. At that point, she told me to do it and that she would split the cost with me so I would be 100% satisfied with my purchase - and she did exactly that!

When I purchased the watch, I must admit that I was skeptical but Irene was very assuring, everything the she told me on the phone was accurate and she won me over.

I can't say enough good things about Irene, the watch I purchased and the treatment that I received.

I would recommend Irene and Essentialwatches without reservation and will certainly be purchasing another watch from them when the time comes!

I had been looking for a discontinued Lange 1815 Chronograph for several years without luck. At some point I'd contacted Fred at EW and he said he'd keep me in mind if he came across one.
Just before Christmas, 2015 (and I have no idea how long ago I'd spoke to Fred) I got a call that EW had the watch I wanted and asked if I was still interested. The deal was done before anyone had time to breath and I had the watch shortly thereafter.
The watch, 13 years old, was in perfect shape and running accurately. The price was more than fair. I love Fred...well, I like him a lot.

Easy to deal with and they keep their word. Nice follow up from their end as well.

I found a Bertolucci Watch and after searching the web I landed on Essential Watches. I finally connected with Seth and it was smooth sailing after that. He found two watches I wanted. We agreed on a price for both. He made a minor change on one of them. I wired the money and the next day the watches were delivered to my house exactly as promised. It was a stressless experience and I would recommend it to everyone.

I found the Patek watch I wanted at a local store. I also found it on the internet, at three different retailers. Essential Watches was the only place that had it with all the paperwork, and yet they were willing to come very close to the price that everyone else had. I deposited my personal check into their account at a local bank (in Chicago), and they shipped the watch the next day - Fed Ex.

It arrived in perfect condition, just as they had described, in a padded envelope, and double boxed besides. The watch is flawless, and the paperwork is complete. Fred was wonderful to work with, helpful and cooperative throughout the process. Couldn't be happier with my new Patek, Essential Watches and Fred. Looking forward to my next transaction.
