been using entropay since 3 years and now they are closing =( there is no other company like this will surely miss it

Take your money and run, they are a scam. I set this up for my son who needed a safe way to carry money and when he was established we cancelled his card and I kept mine. They email to state they are closing down and remove remaining money but what they don't tell you they charge you for it. So all the money what was in that account is gone. Glad they are closing down, rubbish company.

I received £7.70 from sliver.tv before on this service and now because my account was inactive, they took my money.
"We've noticed that you haven't been using Entropay lately. Since your account has been inactive for some time, we've classified it as dormant. We have deducted a monthly dormancy fee of GBP20.00 from your Entropay wallet"
Avoid at all costs.

I got a 10 dollar "pay-pal card" in sliver.tv and they forced me to put my money in entropay. First I used it like, two times with no problem and after that they sent me the following message "to keep your money and data safe, your account has been temporarily restricted", whit no apparent cause for that. I tried to contact them several times months ago and still haven't got an answer. I probably won't see my money back... rip

I would give 0 of I could!! These con artists deleted my card they had $176!! Then they sent me email this morning about dormancy fees and deducting another $20 each month and the dormancy fee deduction had already started before this month!!
I will take legal action against this scam of a company, how can they go about to deleting my cards with over $176++????? Something dodgy is going on!!

I very rarely feel the need to write up a negative review as i usually find a way to resolve issues with the vendor.
Entropay is uselss and just does not work. It does not perform its function at all.
I have a mere £5 on the virtual card. i cannot spend it with any retailer online, nor can i withdraw the money to my bank (goes to error page).
I have contacted them several times to try and resolve, but just get the same generic response.
The are now also fining people for not using the cards by stealing the money off them.
So in summary. You give them money to put on a virtual card. Then you cannot spend this money, nor withdraw it, then once its sat for a while they take your money and call it a domancy fee.

They suddenly closed my account and because of this, I could not use my virtual cards. Then after a while, they started charging several 20$ fee for account inactivity. No-one answers customer support tickets and no way contact company. This whole thing looks like a scam.

Entropay initiated a "Dormancy" fee on my account, without giving notice. The agent that I emailed said that they emailed me to advise of the fee, however, they did not. These were additions they added after I signed up and essentially dumped the fee without notice.

I have not used my account for 3 months I received an email today to say a fee has been taken and my account is now dormant and will attract a fee of £20 per month until closed. They have emptied my account and restricted it with no contact.
I tried support links but because they are not using ssl secured sites all my computers are blocking the connection and I have to circumvent the settings.
This is a terrible way to do business without even giving a little nudge to use the card as I don’t think a couple of months is dormant for this type of payment service.
ANYBODY WHO HAS ONE OF THESE ACCOUNTS CHECK IT TODAY AND USE IT FOR SOMETHING OR TRY AND CANCEL OR THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!

Frode in piena regola... attivando un conto se rimani inattivo (basta non utilizzare la carta virtuale che ti assegnano) viene bloccato, i soldi sulle carte virtuali (essendo bloccati) non possono piu essere toccati... procedura di contatto con loro allucinante.. morale quando bloccano cmq prelevano soldi per le spese(?????)... semplicemente allucinante, non puoi riprenderti i soldi e loro li detraggono perche sono bloccati.. in un paio di mesi ti azzerano il conto.. a me hanno rapinato 28 dollari..... potete solo immaginare cosa li auguro!!
simple fraud ... by activating an account if remain inactive (just don't use the virtual card) it's blocked, money on virtual cards (blocked) cannot be withdrawn ... assintence procedure it's incredible!! terrifying ....when they block they take money for the expenses (????????) ..., you cannot take back the money and they deduct it because they are blocked .. in a 2 months they clear the account ..
the circle of death!!!

I put $50 onto my Entropay account. Then they told me that people outside of Europe had limited access. I was able to create one card and spend $24.95. Then they deducted $20 for inactivity and I can't create a new card or anything with what is left on my account.

Avoid. Entropay changed terms in the background, without communicating the changes.
The terms changed to fine 'dormant' accounts, which previously was £5 after 180 days of inactivity.
On March 26th, this then became £20, after 30 days of no use. Yet, Entropay started charging this £20 3 days(!) later.
None of this was communicated in any shape or form. This is pretty much theft.

They said we cannot use our accounts for transactions and all vcards will be closed. So what the f.ck is €20 monthly fee for inactivity.

Can't give 0 stars. Entropay NEVER worked on the processor i tried to use, e-mails unanswered from entropay. Account lays dormant because one can not use the Entropay nor withdrawal or cancel. Month after month they take 20 dollars a month in dormancy fees, So account will never get used. Heed all the reviews you read, don't make mistake.

They increased their account dormancy fee from $5 a month to £20 a month, and have announced they're going to close down from 1st July. While I'm sure their terms say they can change their fees, it does seem like they've decided to milk as much money as possible from their customers before pulling the plug. Either they've been in trouble financially or they're just scammers. Their website is buggy as hell, and they don't respond to requests for support. I expected better from an FCA-regulated organisation.

these guys are crooks.
1. they stopped allowing you to top the vcard or use the vcard.
2. transferred the balance to the wallet.
3. Ok so from here you cannot send it back to the credit card. So left with only bank account option.
4. once i did that the fees for that was $14 and what was actually transferred $11.
So how come they charge for the interest when they dont allow you to use the vcard ?
And Irrespective of the above they also deduct an amount if you dont use your account for a while. Lots of hidden fees. Last time i will ever use this terrible virtual card service.

It was back around 2018 december. My account got restricted, and I cannot do s*** on it. I had money on it too... Then I contacted them via email and they told me they did this to all entropay accounts. And told me I will be able to take out my funds around march-april. But now my MONEY GONE, because they charged me for inactivity. What the actual f***!? I am pretty sure it's illegal to lock out all of your customers and then stole their money. I got them emails too as evidence. SCAM ARTISTS.

Despite I sent all required documentation I never got my account verified. Nevertheless, they accepted my money transfer and kept my account blocked for "security reasons", so I could not rescue that money in any way. After 60 days they declared my account as "dormant" and started applying an "account dormancy fee" of 20 a month. They never replied any of my messages so I could see how they were slowly stealing my money at a rate of 20/month while I could do nothing about. A very frustrating and torturing way to lose money STAY AWAY!!!

They're charging me £2.50 a month fee for inactivity, but I can't access my account (reset password function is not working) and they have ignored my requests for help via their online support portal, they have no number to call them on, and when I tried to email them a formal complaint form, their complaints email address bounced back.

Scam. They cancel credit cards and restrict the account for no reason, charge twice for one transaction, apply horrendous fees for "dormancy", and send automatic replies to support requests. You will loose all your money that you transfer to them.

I created a virtual card and put some money there (around € 100), then I used the card only twice, spending around $ 75 in both payments (thus, having around € 15 left in my account). Nothing wrong happened and the payments occurred without any problem.
I didn't use my virtual card for around 3 months then last week I logged in my account again to make a new payment, but as soon as I logged in I got a message that Entropay found some suspicious activities in my account, so they decided to block it.
Problem #1: if you found some problem in my account, then maybe you should have contacted me through e-mail first. I only knew there was something wrong when I logged in my account after 3 months. I didn't receive any e-mail from this company (and yes, I checked my spam folder).
Problem #2: they don't say exactly what's wrong with my account. They just said it was blocked for suspicious activities, so I decided to contact their customer support to check what happened and how I can fix it, but more than 1 week passed by and I have no answer from them.
So, right now I have an account with around € 15 that I can't use and I have no idea how to solve this problem but they don't reply our customer support requests.
