Words cannot express how good this company is to deal with especially the Edinburgh branch. My experience with car hire companies is widely varied but without a doubt this one is the absolute best.

We had booked on line to pick the car up at Sants Train Station in down town Barcelona, Spain, and where given a free upgrade to a SUV Nissan Qashqai that had less than 500 Kms mileage on it. We had it for the day with unlimited mileage. Car return was a very quick and easy affair. Very professional team be it to check in or check out (give it back) Highly recommended.

I worked with a regional manager who compensated me for the added fees, misinformation, and driving to a different Enterprise location. I appreciate his willingness to take ownership of the situation and make things right. This speaks highly of their integrity and ability to pursue high expectations for service, quality and value.

This going to be a long read.
Let me start by saying that I have been a loyal customer of Enterprise Car Rental for over 10 years. Recently I returned back to the states after retiring from the Military. Upon my return I started my own business that required me to have access to or own a Cargo Van. This requirement and my past history with Enterprise led me to Enterprise Commercial Rental in Chantilly, Va (Pleasant Valley location). My experience from Nov 2019 to mid Dec 2019 was great thanks to (John Fredrikson and another gentleman who's name escapes me). However, thing quickly took a turn for the worst due to Zach Underhil, Branch Manager). Sometime around Dec mid Dec 2019 I am as offered a large account with a manager supplier and needed to obtain a 26FT box truck. Immediately I called on Enterprise and John advised that starting a corporate account would be beneficial to my new business. After taking the time to educate me, I was ready to move forward. I took the step he advised and arrived to Enterprise the next day to inform John that I had been contacted by someone from corporate and it appeared things were moving along and that I was ready to go. However, our conversation was rudely and abruptly interrupted by Zach Underhill. For some reason Zach took it upon himself to try and bully me into doing things I did not want to do. No matter how bad I tried to remove myself from the situation Zach became more and more aggressive toward me. Things got so bad that after I told him that enough was enough and that I was leaving Zach threaten to close my account and not allow me to rent from the location anymore. I quickly responded that I would contact corporate and advised them of his behavior and threats. At which point he threw down a stack of papers and stormed out. Mind you this all stemmed from my not wanting to provide the name of the Account Manager I had been contacted by from Enterprise. Nothing more and nothing less. I left the location very afraid and shaken that day.
On January 8th and 9th Enterprise began excessively charging my credit card after only being authorized to charge a certain amount even providing a receipt show the charging of the agreed amount. I immediately called as was told that they were following order given to them by Zach. I tried several times to speak with him but he refused my calls.
On or about Wednesday, January 15, 2020 I was confronted by Zach and another man named Brandon (last name unknown but he identified himself as the assistant manager). This confrontation took place at the business location of my customer. Yes you read that properly these men came to my customers property. While loading the van I was interrupted by the Operations Manager (customer) who uncomfortably informed me that the two guys where there to take the van from me. Immediately Brandon verbally attached me and accused me of lying about being out of town and that the van needed servicing and they thought it had been stolen. This was all stated in front of my customers and 30 warehouse employees.
After taking a step back to gather myself, I asked my peers and the Operations Manager to excuse us. At first they refused out of concern for me but I assured them I was ok (even though I really didn't feel that I was).
Once alone, I asked for clarification and again was told that they were taking the van because they thought it was stolen and that it needed to be serviced.
I stated that I had in fact gone out of town on that Saturday and that the van was moved without my knowledge. I told them that I flew back Tuesday night because I was informed that someone had in fact moved the van and I fired the individual for his behavior. I told them that if they thought that the van was stolen they should've contacted me and or the police not come to my customer's place of business and give them false information. At which point I was told that they still wanted the van due to it needing servicing. I then told them that enough was enough and that it they did not leave I'd call the police. I stated that I would come to the location to switch out vans once I spoke with my customer.
When I fearfully arrived to the location both men acted as if they had just won MVP. To add insult to injury I was told that the van had tiny dents on it which was not true. There was nothing wrong with the van. Brandon inspected the van while Zach held me captive in the office refusing to give me the keys to the new van. I had a witness with me and a witness watching Brandon without his knowledge told me that Brandon walked over to the van (which was covered in dirt due to a bad snow storm in the area). The witness saw him go to a spot on the car and wipe it with his hand. That very spot was now the only clean spot on the van and just happened to be where the small dent was.
I initially blamed myself due to my never reporting the previous issues to Corporate but I was afraid to do so because I really felt like a prisoner due to my dependency on the rentals regardless of how I was being treated. If I did not have the rentals I could not do business with my customer and Zach made sure I was reminded of that. So I kept my mouth shut. But last week's episode was it for me.
I will no longer allow their robbery, bullying, harassment, and humiliation of me run my life and or my business. I will never rent from Enterprise Car Rental again. These experiences have truly scarred me and I have committed myself to taking back my dignity loss by Zach and Brandon's actions.
I returned the van today because I will no longer be abused. Although I will not be able to do business until I secure another van, I at least I have my self respect and dignity back.

I have rented from Enterprise for about 15 years now. They are quite good. I did have several issues though on a recent reservation. i) I could not make the reservation on-line, there was an error ii) After I called my local Enterprise office and made a reservation, there was no confirmation e-mail sent. iii) When I tried to call today, there was an extended wait time, and the voice recording looped at least 3 times before I finally hung up.

I have had a terrible experience with Enterprise. After I returned my rental car I was charged an additional $89.00 with no explanation as to why. In addition, I never received my $100 deposit back even though I returned the rental car in the same condition as when I received it. When I asked for a rental car I asked for a sedan, however the Enterprise employee told me they would give me something comparable to my car so they gave me a Nissan Rogue. The employee told me she would work out the insurance adjustment on her end but that I would NOT be charged the additional rates. That was NOT the case. It's been two months and I have been getting the run around. I have not received my deposit back and they charged an additional fee because insurance would not adjust the rate. On my signed receipt it states "USAA will pay 100%". Yet two months later I am still trying to get my money back. I would not recommend Enterprise as they will charge you fees as they see fit without your acknowledgement or approval.

Personally National, ALamo, Sixt is better. This is what was told to me.
1) If you need to reach somewhere a 15 seater vehicle should be fine. (I booked a compact car, and they didnt have any cars other than 15 seater. They had 2 SUV's but they were out within some time)
2) Un-updated website : I wonder why if 20 people ask for a compact car, and they have just 2 in stock, why cant they declare on their website that they dont have these cars available. I realise it's tough logistics but I kinda confirmed I will be needing a compact car 2 days ago and even received a response that yes they have the stock and I would get the compact car.
3) They keep cars "on hold" for people. A lady, who arrived before me, kept a car "A" on hold and was waiting for a possible new renter to return a smaller car "B". So the car "A", was just kept idle all the time. Pretty weird policy, since a car was no kept on hold for me. Eventually Car "B" arrived after 1 hour and I got to drive car "A".

I want to extend a great rating to the Enterprise rental car on Scottsville rd Bowling Green Ky. They have exhibited the most professional staff of any rental car business I have seen in my travels. Everyone of the staff at this location is courteous, polite, positive attitude and dressed professionally. I never have to wait for a long period of time and checking in and out is easy.

Terrible Management. I will NEVER rent from this company again.
I spoke with an Enterprise representative who gave me a price and set up my reservation. They contacted me two days later and told me I had to pay additional hidden fees that were not disclosed upon my original reservation.
They gave me an ultimatum, pay the hefty fees or drive an additional 30 miles round trip to a different Enterprise location.

I would like to thank Mr.Teryl White, branch manager of Enterprise at the Capital Cadillac location in Greenbelt MD, for making every experience a well one during my rental visits. He demands for his customers to be happy with the service before leaving there. He and staff exhibits great concerns, and professionalism with any issue you may have, and practice their best to meet your need and desires, and sometimes, he might throw in a little treat, within means of course; however, you will be satisfied before leaving there. Thank you again Mr. White

I would strongly recommend anyone who are considering to rent a car to stay away from Enterprise Izmir airport. They have very poor customer service. They provided us with a car with a dead battery which left us stranded. When we phoned them, they simply hung up every time. They took 9 HOURS to eventually replace the battery. When we returned the car at 4pm on the final day of our rental, their office at Denizli Airport was locked up. No one present to accept the keys of the car. This forced us to wait well over a hour just to return a car.
Run for the hills. Never again.

Car was good. Otherwise DO NOT use this company. I had an issue spoke to many people including managers, left multiple messages and emails and noone would get back to me or help provide resolution. If you use this company and have a problem you risk not having anyone help you resolve your problems/concerns. Noone cares as once you pay and leave the counter it is no longer their problem.

I made a reservation through my insurance company be picked up at work since my car was not drivable. They did not show and when I called they said it was the wrong branch and I would have to call one closer. The branch closer to me would not answer their phone. I abandoned any hopes of getting a car and had a relative pick my son up from school and me from work. He sat outside in the cold for an hour and I was stuck at work for an hour and a half. I would rather drive my mother's 14 year old truck than deal with these people again.

Turns out the weekend special isn't so special anymore. You are limited to 300 miles. IMO that penalizes renters who live in areas that are long distances from arts and entertainment.
So after putting a pencil to it ,I guess it's easier to go back to making a car payment for those cheap weekend getaways.

Spoke to Nicole at this Manheim Pike location. Was accused of being a previous customer, renting a car and keeping personal car together instead of dropping off car to body shop; the reason for my reservation via an insurance claim for a rental in the first place. Basically being treated like a thief prior to even stepping foot in their office! Customer Service unacceptable, offensive, and should not be trusted with the public on behalf of Enterprise or any company for that matter!!!

My husband and I dropped a car off late at night and drove 6 hrs home after picking our daughter up at college. Since it was late we left a very important item and didn't realize it till we were home. I called the next morning and spoke to an employee who said he had it. I explained my situation and the manager fed ex it to me and we received it the next day. They went above and beyond for us and I can't thank them enough. There are great people working at enterprise, especially in Greensboro, NC Market St

A family friend failed to remove all of her belongings from inside the car. We called the office the next day they said they would look for it. They found it and decided they needed to OPEN it. The employees at Enterprise should have never opened something that they found. Do the employees go through pictures on someone's camera that a renter left? Probably. Would they read the entries of a journal left by a high schooler? Probably. Would they go through someone's phone? No doubt. The employees decided to open something that they had no business opening. I will NEVER use Enterprise again, and I will share my experience with others considering doing business with your company. In this day and age, privacy is one of our last forms of freedom, and Enterprise has shown that it could care less about the privacy of its customers.

I have had NOTHING but issues with this company starting with a rental car that smelt like pot inside and then having no joy from them in helping to switch the car out. Tonight the car broke down and I can promise you I have NEVER seen such terrible service in fact customer service does not exist with this terrible company. I have been a long time customer and the way they have dealt with these issues is unacceptable.

My experience with enterprise was TERRIBLE!!! The car that I originally reserved was not available upon pickup (no biggie). I was then told by the sales rep that he would then cut my daily rental rate in half for the inconvenience from $58.25 to $30 a day bringing the time distance total down to $90. With the discount added I decided to add insurance for $24.99 for the 3 days ($74.97). After the discount and insurance was added my estimated total charges were promised to be $214.25 after taxes and fees and one of the receipts I received detailed these rates. However, upon returning the car I was not charged the discounted rate promised or even the original reservation rate. I was charged a rate of $117.73 a day for my rental plus the insurance I added and taxes and fees ($489.85). After realizing that they overcharged me nearly 4 times the promised rate they also had charged my credit card an additional $41.98 on top of the $489.85 bringing the total that I was charged to outstanding $531.83 when I was told I would be charged $214.25. I had to call and explain to the manager at the Kansas City Airport location where I rented the vehicle from. The lady i spoke with was very unhelpful and took forever to understand the mistake that was made when I clearly explained it several times. In conclusion this was my WORST car rental experience. I will most likely never rent from enterprise again unless they can offer some sort of compensation for the inconvenience.
