I have the Om Air Sense, it’s the fourth one in 2 years, iv’e never figured out how the Sense part of it works, and Elica can’t help, they don’t know eighter. Crap product, and WAYYYY to expensive

This doesn't even deserve one star! The Elica Shire cooker hood in recirculating mode is absolutely hopeless. Water is running down all the cupboard fronts and the windows are completely steamed up when it is in use. There is absolutely no way for the steam to get into the filter and be processed unless there was a hinge or bracket to allow the screen to be held away from the filter while cooking. The steam just goes onto the screen and gets deflected elsewhere. I have contacted both Elica and the kitchen company which I bought the hood through but because it is "working" no-one is interested. This product looks good but has absolutely no practical use at all.

I didn't know how bad these crooks are until I ordered something at their online shop at shop.elica.com. First of all, I ordered a product on March 11, and now, 11 days later I contacted the customer support to find out where my product is, because I have not received it yet. (the shipping is within the EU). The customer support seems dead, no reply from them 72 hours after. I will never, EVER buy any Elica product again, and will not recommend it to any of our friends. To whomever is reading it, this is a warning. This is a perfect example of a company that should not operate on the Internet. The usual scammers. Do not trust them! Oh, and they have these FAKE reviews - a 5 star rating from eKomi. Now this eKomi itself is a fake rating company, with no option for people to leave a real review. I'm complaining to the Italian customer protection authority!

Not sure how well this unit will work but our kitchen fitter installed it incorrectly so only one fan speed and wasnt drawing from cooker. Phoned Elica who advised this is a common issue so I removed the narrow outlet pipe and all speeds work correctly and seems to draw OK. If I can get the installation company to eventually fit it properly then it should be OK. Their advice was good and also send me a revised list of operating instructions.. I have not yet been able to fully test the unit since installation in August!.. due to poor service from kitchen fitters.
I have now banned my installer from working on the interior of my home due to poor workmanship and damage caused so have installed a proper flue pipe myself and employed a competent roofer to fit the vents into the tiles for me. I am pleased to say that the extractor now works well and i am a happy customer of Elica.

I am really unhappy that the delivery time stated on the webpage can not be trusted. I Ordered some extra piping for mounting my new Nikola Tesla kooktop with downdraft on the19/11. It says delivery within 4-6 days on the webpage. When I track the parts, they did not even leave the factory yet - today the 28/11 - 9 days after I ordered!!! We can not install the our kooktop without these parts. Yesterday the 27/11 I sent an email to customer service - still no reply. Really unacceptable. Updated 2/12. It looks like my parts will finally be delivered tomorrow. Still no reply from customer service though.

Bought an Elica ELB430SS range hood, which proved to defective right out of the box - lights didn't work, fan only worked on lowest speed, and we could smell plastic burning inside after running the fan for a couple of minutes. It took several days before a service tech contacted us on behalf of Elica, and since he knew what the problem was (control panel) without even seeing the unit, it is obviously a common defect. Now we have to wait 3 or 4 weeks for the tech to get the replacement part from Elica, in the hopes that it solves the problem and doesn't set our house on fire.

Bad bad! 2 months and still didn’t received my filters! Customer service totally incompetent and rude! Tough because you can’t order filters for their products somewhere else. Shame!

We purchased an "Elica Film" cooker hood which proved faulty (confirmed by an engineer's report). Our kitchen ceiling became badly stained.
We reported the matter to Elica soon after it was installed because our ceiling became badly stained.Elica did not bother to investigate the fault. They assumed it was the filters (which it wasn't) and sent replacements.
Over a year later the staining just got worse.
In their publicity material they claim an 82% filtering efficiency. They subsequently sent us an email stating that the staining was NORMAL and that he hood was "WORKING PERFECTLY" BECAUSE IT'S FILTERING EFFICIENCY WAS A MAXIMUM 72%!!
Annoyingly the UK "manager" was unable to deal with our issue. he had to contact ITALY which took three weeks.
Elica have refused point blank to do anything to sort this problem out.
In short, their publicity material can NOT be trusted. their products look stylish but don't work as they should. If a problem occurs Elica will NOT want to do anything about it.
Fortunately we were able to claim from our credit card because our bank could see at a glance that a full refund was due.
