The worst company ever!!!! and I'm from Israel...
Their site is broken as f****k and had to call them 3 times just to add 1 bag!!!! do not ever book with them. Piece of s**t airline.

Such a poor unprofessional attitude towards passengers from the staff! They punish passengers they do not like because of personal views! They publish passenger information and mock them! This very unprofessional way EL AL treat passengers reflect poorly on not only El Al but on Israel! SHAME on EL AL!!!

Warning!!! Don't fly with EL-AL, the worst flight company on the planet!
I bought a flight tickets from Malaga to Tel-Aviv and back, my dad got to an emergency surgery and I had to fly earlier, miss the flight to Tel Aviv and came only to the flight back to Malaga, then I been asked to pay extra 250$!!! On top of the 413€ I already paid for not showing on the flight to Tel Aviv... when I asked for the reason, no one could gave me one beside "it's the rules".
The manager by the name Shachar Nitzan made it even worst when he tried to give irrational excuses as "we could sell your tickets again, we can sale 10% more tickets the seats on the plane", there is absolutely no connection while I paid a full price on the ticket to Israel and by not showing to the flight, I only saved a bit of fuel and a small meal, he sound so unprofessional as if you have more passengers then place on the plane, you will must compensate for the over booking (no one else has any better explanation).
Must to add that following my job, I'm all my life flying around the world, about 2-3 times a month, had few times before a similar situation of missing the first flight and still use the second reason, with different companies and never been asked to pay any kind of fine for that.
EL-AL absolutely lost it, I'm feeling a shame as an Israeli to ask all of you to never fly EL AL again!
The will look for any irrational reason, for very high amount (as 250$), a moment before the flight when you feel the most helpless.
If they have no respect for there most loyalty customer they have no rights to be exited, is about a time this company will close down!!!

No matter who you’re flying, you have to be professional and do the best you can to give all your clients a good experience.

The company has one of the best customer service which takes responsibility and does not ignore or put you off. This is important in days of high competition. The company may not be able to offer best prices but it is the safest one I know to fly with.
There was a case where the booking agent had made a mistake, costing me lots of time and money, but El Al has refunded me after I had mentioned to them of the mistake the booking agent did, not the airline. Who does this in the industry?!?
