The stethoscope is excellent overall, but there does seem to be a manufacturing defect with the ear pieces which pop off easily and every day I have to find an ear piece that has come off. I tried keeping them on with duct tape but that interfered with comfort. Now I'm purchasing replacement ear pieces which is a bit annoying. Otherwise, it's a great product- much easier to appreciate heart sounds/murmurs/etc.

I bought this after losing my littman 3100, and i feel slightly disappointed. The ear pieces are horrible and cause significant discomfort. The sound quality is okay. I'm returning it

The audio is good, but unfortunately some of the time it doesn't turn on until I restart the Eko by long-pressing twice on the button. This is incredibly awkward while the patient is patiently holding their breath or holding up their clothes.

I love my EKO Duo, I love that I hear things my coworkers miss, I love showing it off to the doctors and most of all I really enjoy sharing it with all those above so that they can experience it as well.

I bought the CORE digital attachment with my Littman Classic III and so far I'm loving it. It helps me hear clearly. The device doesn't only enhance the heart/breath (or whatever you're listening to) sounds; it also catches the sound of the rubbing of the tubes (?). I haven't used much of the EKG app since it doesn't give me a clear read, or rather I'm mostly noticing artifacts with it. But overall, for my intended use, I would recommend it.

As a cardiologist, the phonogram feature sounded interesting and I appreciated the ability to record murmurs for teaching purposes. However, in clinical practice, the Eko was underwhelming. There is too much artifact for the phonogram feature to be clinically useful. Even when artifact was minimal, the phonogram did not match well with what I was hearing on my Cardiology IV stethoscope. The audio quality is similar to a Littman Cardiology III. I'll keep it around for teaching purposes and the novelty of being able to record an ecg, phonogram, and audio. However, I wouldn't buy it again.²

I love it. My colleagues like it when I give them to try and all of my colleagues want to own one. It is amazing but not as great as the customers service. Overall, I will buy it again anytime without thinking. In fact, it is the best decision that I have ever made.

My recent acquiring of the EKO Core stethoscope has been a great step forward in my clinical critical care practice so far. I am able to share my clients (with there consent) heart valve sounds & adventitious pulmonary sounds with my colleagues and new hires on the cardiac-surgical ICU where I practice. I appreciate the easy use of the mobile app on my iPhone of the sound tracing’s that is a great visual aid. I also appreciate the quality of sound that is still achieved in the analog mode and the ease of going back and forth between the digital and analog setting. I am quite pleased with my purchase and look forward to years of use🌈😃. Sincerely, R. Stanley RN

It would be nice to have some sort of sticking thing or something that holds the machine onto the patient. We are having to tape it on there ourselves so it would be handy to have something made by company.

Working as a nurse in drug detox, most of the patients have extremely low blood pressures, of 70/50 and below, with high levels of methadone etc. Taking blood pressures is extremely challenging with the population particularly with damaged veins due to IV abuse. The EKO is one of the few devices that allows for accurate readings over time, and provides a better baseline for safe administration of medication before morning dosing! Thanks for making this! A lot of the older nurses use the wrist cuffs because the can't hear but with the Eko its made it an equal playing field and at the cost of an expensive cardiac stethoscope provides an affordable high quality hearing device!
