Education.com's content helped me through SO many tight moments when I was teaching 5th grade at a 'turnaround' school. What I got was well worth the money I spent. (my account is listed under a different email address than this review)
However, I learned today that I was billed $119.00 to renew my subscription without notice. I have not used education.com worksheets in many months, and am now teaching 8th grade Visual Arts. There is nothing useful to me on education.com's site any more, with my new role.
I have used the form to ask for a refund. I have not yet seen what the company will do. I hope they refund my full subscription fee. If they do, I will happily recommend their company to others. If not - I'll handle it through my credit card company.

A great resource site where you can reach full materials and appropriate studies on every topic you are looking for in education.

The App has hidden ” Auto renew” button on when you sighed in at first day, than it remembered your Credit card number and then Sneaky charge you $119.88 for the second year, and so on..... If you are not paying attention to your bill, it will charge you for the rest of your life! This is so Illegal crap,

In my opinion education is the most important things in our life. That's also called third eye of human being. Education is most powerful than other thing like money, game, business and so on. Business is not started without education. Therefore education is the best things in our several life.

Education.com deserves a sub zero rating! The support “specialist” closed our support session because she accuses me of failing to supply her with the email account used to open my account along with the name on my credit card and the last four on the credit card. Although I supplied the information, she proceeds to tell me the information is incorrect and education.com continued to make unauthorized debits from my account monthly. To date there has been 6 unauthorized debits.
There is no live person to talk to so I have reported this agency and will bring charges against them to recoup the money they have STOLEN and continue to STEAL from my account.
(I gave her all the information I had. Nowhere in their policy does it say I have to give this information to close my account. Still, she closed her support services to me)
Message from Megan (education.com support “specialist”) below
I have asked you repeatedly to provide me with the last four digits of the credit card being charged and the name on the credit card being charged, but you have refused to do so. Without further information from you at this time, I cannot locate your account and cancel it or refund the charges. Thus, I cannot help you at this time. I apologize. I am closing this support ticket at this time.

If could give this site a zero I would. I have not used education.com for over a year now and I have just seen a random charge to my bank account. I signed in to my account to cancel my membership only to see I am on a basic membership which should be for FREE. I would advise anyone to avoid associating with this company.

Charging me $12.99 for a basic free subscription pr months. Their contact email link doesn't work on their website. Please stay clear, they now owe me for several months. Don't know how to get rid of this, except cancel my cards. Frustrated

Review update: A company representative reached out to me by email and indicated that my money would be refunded and subscription cancelled. The worksheets were helpful to my children this summer when my kids were out of school. The website needs to be improved to allow you to delete your own debit card. Also, it would be nice if you could speak to someone on the phone. The customer service could be improved if they sent a reminder about the renewal before charging your card.
If I could give this company less than one, I would. This is a horrible company. I originally subscribed to the service at $60 the first year and then it doubled the 2nd year. I subscribe over a year a go and totally forgot about it. You would think they would send you a reminder about renewal like most ethical companies, but they don’t.
They just automatically charged the $120 fee and then you get a huge surprise in your bank account. You have no way of deleting your debit card information either to prevent charges from happening again the following year. I had to completely close down my debit card with my bank. There is no customer service phone number so you cannot speak with anyone. I emailed them twice with no response. This is a totally unethical company. Stay far, far away from this company. Do not do business with them. You have been warned.

I am confused by the lower rating reviews because I have been a customer for years and have never had an issue with them. I absolutely love education.com and it has honestly helped me become a better parent when it comes to managing and understanding my child's learning milestones and what's expected from him each grade level.
As for fees, I have never had an issue. I even reached out to them once when I thought I missed out on a special discount and they reached back out to me within 24-48 hours. I've been a consistent member for 2-3 years now. They are amazing and easy to use. I printed worksheets to keep my son busy during the summer and the website is so user friendly and customer service is amazing. And I'm all about customer service. I've had terrible experiences but education.com is not one of them.

The people who are complaining about the hidden auto renew are correct! I only noticed because I happened to be paying my credit card! They renewed me at twice the rate with no notice.
Really unethical way to do business.

I am devastated and hoping to hear back from education.com ASAP!!! I was unable to purchase crucial medical equipment today due to funds being withdrawn for education.com at a drastic increase. There was no prior notice of such an increase. I am set up for the automatic renewal, but when the renewal is more than 50% of previous invoices, advance notice should be given. With no direct phone line, there is no way to contact someone immediately. I need to communicate with someone as soon as possible!! Disappointed and devastated!!

No drop down menu exists, step up and do what's right. Respond with accurate instructions, no bs about how to do a task that there is no access to. It seems like you have been ripping people off. Fix this system. I actually would have joined at a later date if I could manage my membership.

The material on the website is great but I need to cancel my subscription and can't find a customer service number anywhere! It's so annoying! The cost is not cheap and I am going to have to stop payment with my bank if I can't find customer service.

Even though I had the free subscription, I have been charged $15.99 on three occasions, twice on one day. I have reached out to customer service and have yet to receive a reply. I definitely would not recommend this site.

This website has made everything harder by forcing students to use this website and nothing else. Some may say that it gives something "something similar" to what one was looking for. NOTHING WAS SIMILAR. The worksheet I was given was for third graders. THIRD GRADERS. Also the worksheet was about freshwater and saltwater. The original website was about how land and water affect temperature. Bad website that should not exist overall. Let's hope that this website is taken down.

I do not even want to give a star!! This is a rip off!! Do NOT subscribe!! Once you subscribe they charge your account yearly. They do NOT let you know, they just do it!!! I homeschooled in 2015. We just noticed that in 2016, 17, 18 and 19 they have been charging my credit card!!! They have no phone number so no one can contact them. Waiting for a response to my email. I doubt that will happen. My bank will be going after them for a refund. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I am being charged 12.99 from this website, and all I have is a basic membership, and there's no place to cancel! I am very upset and feel like this is a scam...

I'm so utterly confused by some of these reviews. It clearly states what the price per subscription is and that the price listed is at a significantly lower rate than subsequent months. It also very clearly states what the 2nd month subscription will cost. I find it completely unfair to blame a company for YOUR lack of correct budgeting and bill tracking. It also very clearly states your billing day is the same day every time, whether once a month or once a year...IT'S THE SAME DAY, unless the day doesn't exist and then it's the first available date.

this is a scam website, they offer you subscription on the first year at $59.94, then it will jump to $119.88 on the second year, and it is automatically resubscribe without any notice to you:
you have no notification, even no invoice will be sent to you, they just took your money quietly.
One day you may find this transaction from your bank statement, after you log into your account, click cancel subscription, it pops up a windows says they can refund 50% of your payment and lower to $59.94 for continuing subscribe. absolutely scam, beware !
FYI, you can NOT cancel your card stored on their website !!! !!! !!!

I'm frustrated with this company. Unlike many others here, who seem to have to leave a review here to get any sort of response from their customer service, I sent an email several weeks ago and got a response in about 3 days. My kids are homeschooled and one of the resources we used regularly was kidsgeo.com. It was a wonderful collection of geography and science games and videos that my kids loved and were actively learning with. I had struggled to find something that was both comprehensive and kid-friendly, and kidsgeo.com was also free! Then all of a sudden, one day navigating to the page takes us instead to education.com where it says that kidsgeo.com is now a part of them and that they've taken you to "a similar page". But it's not a similar page. It's some geography worksheets I could print out (if my printer were working) and no games at all. I tried in vain to find a phone number, which was frustrating since you can only find info that says "we do have a phone number, but here - send us an email instead". So I did that and got my response back later, which basically said that they will be determining which things from kidsgeo.com (along with other sites they've recently acquired) they will end up keeping for their site. We are really bummed that these games couldn't just remain available while they make their determination. Education.com has no geography games that we have been able to find at all, and to wipe out a fantastic site in the middle of the school year just seems unnecessary and ridiculous. Please bring them back!!!
