Bought a Conan Exiles PS4 on online store and choose pick up at Chullora branch and got an email from them said game is out of stock... either pick up in other stores (which is 3 hours away) or cancel the order. But the game still show available at Chullora. Spoke to the customer service and no help whatsoever! The game is available but no original case! It a brand new game and no case?? I can understand if it is a preowned version. Conan Exiles PS4 still show available at Chullora. They are so lazy to update their system! Other customers might fall for the same trap! I asked the customer service that i to speak to the manager and she said manager not available.. I think the manager Have no balls to talk to me! Screw up store + bad customer service + no balls manager = Hopeless management

EB GAMES IS A SCAM!!! I ordered 5 funko pops on their website and it’s been over a month and they NEVER shipped my package. They sent me an email saying it’s shipped but it never did. I contacted the carrier Purolator that EB Games used to ship my item and Purolator said that they never received my package from EB Games and Purolator did an investigation as well and guess what?? Package was never in Purolator’s system after thorough scanning. I asked EB games for a full refund for THEIR SCREW UP and EB GAMES REFUSED to give me my full refund. EB Games is a scam. I lost $47 that i will never get back from EB Games. NEVER ORDER FROM EB GAMES ONLINE!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND THEY WILL NEVER DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE. INSTEAD, THEY SEND YOU A FAKE EMAIL SAYING ITEM IS SHIPPED WHEN IT NEVER DID. Amazon does a better job cuz they always ship my items on time. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED

I bought a controller from them online and it became unusable within 2 weeks. I filed a ticket through their online customer service in mid May and have still not heard from them in regards to my issue. They just sent a generic email 5 weeks later. I've called them a number of times and it always says the service is unavailable. I've contacted one of their stores that is open near me and they couldn't help either. Ridiculous and pathetic. Never shopping there again.

what an AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE! i pre-ordered last of us two collectors edition (something that is no longer available anywhere anymore), I used the wrong card for payment, I sent an e-mail a week or so before release and and asked for a way to change my payment method, i got a response, however no where in the email did they actually give a way to change payment method, just a store locator, when game was released the payment failed, I e-mailed them again, the response i got was "we sent you an e-mail already" and they have ignored everything since, i had 10 days to fix payment issue, that was 8 days ago, still no replies, how the heck do they expect me to fix my payment method when i can;t call them (they claim they are too swamped to have phone lines or something like that, i say B. S)and they won;t tell me how to change payment or make a payment at all. I also went in store, USELESS, they have no control, AKA I couldn't even make a payment there.
NEVER pre order or shop here. I likely will not get my product thanks to this stupid mishap, or go on amazon or best buy and pay 100$ more
if EB games does finally get back to me and gets things fixed, I WILL change this review, or delete it, but how i see it, they have very poor customer service

Completely overpriced the VR headset. I know, fault on my behalf for not checking and matching prices, but really? $200 extra, not to mention the $200 more i had to pay for VR hands. Try ebay instead.

My son purchased a $600 battery pack for his new VR headset. It doesn't work on laptops. Box was opened but nothing was used, packaging perfect. EB games said bad luck, kid has to wear it. Birthday money down the drain. Absolutely fuming. What sort of ethics does this place have?

So I went to EB Games today.. tried to purchase a product for my son with his pocket money.. and was turned away cause I had cash..so I will be purchasing all my children's game products else where.. must be doing alright to be able to turn customers away... feeling really annoyed.., first time this has happened to me even with the current could 19..

I have gotten some sweet collector editions over the years and great bargains during sale events but the normal pricing is usually more than elsewhere.
My biggest problem with EB is there online store the shipping is steep and not very well packaged and I have had orders cancelled well over a week after it was made then I have to wait for my money to be refunded and there was no reason to cancel in the first place and this has happened way too many times it's aggravating.

We purchased an Xbox one S for $430 with taxes. We cancelled the order one hour later which was ignored and was shipped to us anyways. Now I’m trying tirelessly to get someone to call me back and get a return label for a full refund. We never opened it. We don’t need it. I’m out $430 and their customer service is horrible. With the covid nightmare I realize stores are closed but the lack of customer service is disgusting and a generic email is NOT solving the problem. Don’t waste your time. Buy from Costco, Best Buy or Walmart. They are actually able to assist with customer service and returns. Never again.

I’ve placed an order for express shipping on April 24th, 2020. It’s been the 28th, and I still have not received an email to confirm the date it will be shipped or received. I’ve already been charged the order and I’ve sent two emails to simply get some feedback on the status of the order; however, I’ve received no reply still. Unless I’m mistaken that express shipping is going to take much longer than another person who recently placed a review, saying that their order was received within 5 days, I’d like to get a refund on the express shipping.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with an online order through EB Games. I ordered products on their express shipping and it was expected arrive within five business days, the package was processed and arrived at my home within two business days! The processing was super efficient and tracking was clear and concise. The package was securely padded and my items arrived in perfect condition and exactly as ordered. Very very poor customer service!!! You can leave as many emails but they will NOT return. They give your pre-order purchases away without telling you till it's already gone. They don't try and work with you to make sure you get your order. Very disappointed and would give zero Stars if I could. Not going to be a returning customer that's for sure.

Going beyond crazy considering I asked this crappy company to ship my console out with a better reliable service than Purolator. I paid the extra costs(wasted $10), and my package tracking info seems to have a whole puzzle attached to it as the workers can't do their job right. Supposedly my package was Out for Delivery (then switched to delayed due to current pandemic) magically.
I tried to call but hey guess what! They don't even know if it got sent out by the original destination yet but manage to update their tracking with false info?

Went a got a rig400hs headset on the 11/04/20 from ebgames, when I got it home I plugged it all up. I have them found out people could not hear me talk and that it kept cutting out. On the 12/04/20 I took the headset back and explained this issue and asked if I could swap it or upgrade and pay the difference. I was told no and the expreinced the worst customer service I have ever seen from staff. I then got in contact with customer service, I have just received an email stating "sorry but we are not refunding or exchanging" I will be taking this further. They tried saying a change of mind is not a reason to exchange or refund. I have them explained it's not a change of mind the item is faulty. So I am now stuck with a pair of headset s that don't work. Thanks eb from now on I will go to jbhifi for all my gaming needs.

Just went into EB Games in the city. I had seen a product on the shelf for sale. After discussions with others went in to buy it. Put the packet on the bench only to be told they were out of stock. I asked them what the hell it was doing out for sale. they stated it was a display model. I informed them how they have wasted my time. I had been in twice now for this. they didnt care. there was no "Out of Stock" sign or nothing. Unscrupulous traders. preying on the current situation with a complete disregard for consumers. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I was called today at 5:20pm and informed I can come and pick up my preorder of Doom Eternal by Steven in brantford and soon as I got there the little slob just sat behind the counter making no indication of he would make any attempt to opening the door and could clearly see me. He clearly made this call to multiple customers as there was a few other people there and pulling up. What a complete waste of time. This little hobbit called everyone and completely ignored us all standing at the door waiting to pick up the preorder and we called him and gave me attitude on top of it. I hope he doesn't send Gandalf after me.
I actually like the store but this assclown is an a waste of employers money and doesn't even deserve minimal wage from the 1980s . Why call me and tell me I can get my game then moment I get there the slob is too lazy to even to approach us all waiting and tell us he changed his mind and won't give me my game. Thanks dipship I hope you get employee of the month for all you do my precious.

Rude, ignorant, condescending and argumentative. I was returning an Xbox refurbished that hasn't worked since day 1 ( 5 weeks ago) but due to sickness I couldn't return it until today. They replaced it but with none of the 2 year warranty I just bought for the broken pos. I had to buy a whole new warranty for the replacement. ! I've now spent more for refurbished than I would have for new and dealt with ignorance! DON'T TRUST THEIR USED STUFF OR THEIR WARRANTIES!
I understand no one wants to be at work during this time but thats no excuse to treat people like garbage!

EB games sells used games that are not functioning. When I purchased it I was told all used games are functioning as they are tested in store. Pure BS! When I returned the game that was broken, I was told they never check the games.They don't care about the state of the game or the customer. They only want the money. Will never buy a game there again.

the GTA 5 that I brought on Saturday it was pre-owned and I thought it was still good I was really happy I was to play GTA I couldn't wait then it said check disc for damaged or dirty I check my call of duty disc and compared it to my GTA 5 disc the other on the bottom where it says ps4 was dirty so can I have a refund

Skinny guy named Peter at EB Games Springfield Orion was as useless as a white crayon!! He should not be in retail as he does not understand what being an agent for PlayStation entails..
He thinks that once they sell you a gift card that their service ends there.. The dipshits had not validated the card properly, so I was lucky that Sony are on the ball and fixed the problem without asking me to leave (like this big man did).. BTW - I could snap you in half Petey Boy

I purchased a Switch which included a downloadable game for Christmas. When collecting from Warringah Mall they assured me that all info to download was included in the box and I didn't need a receipt only the tax invoice from their eBay store. This was not the case and I have a very disappointed young boy. I have emailed th eBay store (no response), contacted Warringah Mall who fobbed me off to Head Office and was on hold with HO for 42 minutes with no ability to leave a contact number for a return call. Posted on their FB page, they asked me to send details via messenger to which I received a response saying they are suffering from a high number of calls and they would get back to me when they can. No response. Very frustrating and disappointing. Not sure why they can't just email a copy of the receipt which apparently contains the required code.
