annoying safety policy makes the experience as seller hell on earth.
I wanted to sell some valuable coins on ebay. First I tried it on my girlfriend's account (cause they were hers). After submitting the ad, her account got blocked instantly. Then, I tried it on mine, where it worked for a few days bofore they f***** blocked me too.
I had the patience to call their customer support. They unblocked my account and I had to put the ad back on... when suddenly the add got taken off again for me to ask the support on Facebook why... They gave me a Link to upload my Passport, which I did. But guess what... my account got blocked again, where I couldn't bare it anymore. F**** this s***. I hope EBAY goes to hell, where it belongs.
I feel bad for the customer support though. They have a lot of work to do. Whish you all the best guys.
Ebay, I hope you go down.

Careful anyone buying through eBay. I paid for item that never arrived and seller provided tracking number from hermes saying it was posted. Opened a case and eBay backed the seller straight away. EBay leave all responsibility on the buyer to prove item wasn't delivered but you can't. I was very angry at first but got my £27.99 worth giving their customer service a hard time. Only fair in my opinion. Seller s mdab957 and stopped replying after providing the bogus proof. They also have 100 per cent feedback

The worst platform to do business on !!
They don't defend their clients equally.
I sold a 100% authentic item through them. The moment item was sold, and the buyer paid in my PayPal account, I have sent the item through Royal Mail from London to Germany. A couple of hours after that, the buyer open a case against me, that my item was not authentic and request a return in the German Ebay, where I'm not allow to answer or respond, as I don't have an account in the German Ebay and I'm not supposed to have one as I leave and sell in London. In a couple of days, the client have received the item, but my money was on hold, because the buyer open a case against me !?! My question here is how it is possible that the buyer can actually open a case agains the buyer without receiving and seeing the product first and furthermore they still are allowed to receive it but I don't have access to my money and I am not even allowed to respond to that request as I don't have account in the German Ebay. When I tried to resolve my issue with Ebay, then said to me, that I have to wait the German Ebay to contact me in 72 hours and if they doesn't resolve my problem, I can start investigation in 20 days or so. But my money are still on hold and the German buyer have my item. I think overall situation is that I'm not protected at all by Ebay, they are absolutely useless and helpless, the Ebay system sucks. And apart of everything here, my item is 100% authentic. Can anyone tell me what am I suppose to do in that case ???

If the seller does not live up to his warranty obligations, eBay does nothing effectively to get the seller to follow German law and eBay's own rules.
I bought a Chinese inverter, which was sold from Germany, and thus German law applies.
It broke down after 10mdr. According to eBay's rules, professional sellers cannot in any way refuse their 2 year warranty. But the seller will not meet his warranty obligations and eBay will only advise that I bring civil trial, for a purchase of € 149.
After some mail correspondence with eBay's customer service, I was referred to eBay's legal department. The Legal Department initially responded that they could do nothing as the seller did not respond to their inquiries. When I suggested that they threaten to close all the seller's advertisings, the answer was that I should not write more about the case to eBay.

What a cheek! They have left a disabled person with thousands of greetings cards to sell and no decent platform for me to sell on (was selling them off as job lots). I can still buy with them. Bought items that I didn't receive and opened cases with them (is part of e-bays agreement) 1 case resolved and now they ask for me to give a review for my experience. Yes E-bay did sort this for me, but my experience with their so called 'customer service' was extremely frustrating, upsetting and embarrassing.
One seller (case not satisfactorily resolved) has 36 negative and 10 neutral feed backs in 1 month (yes you heard right 1 MONTH) still being allowed to sell on their site. Hey! that's okay they have over 3000 sales for 1 month. So as long as your are making a lot of money for e;bay it doesn't matter if your customer service is BAD, BAD, EVIL.
So e-bayers the lesson here is don't go out of your way to assist your customer's complaints, because in the end that E-BAY doesn't give a damn about that and then they have the nerve to ask for feedback.

I have bought an expensive battery for drilling machine. When i received it it was defect. After i used the ebay return product feature, the seller was supposed to contact me about the return, but no response. I requested Ebay to help me return the product to the seller (Its another feature the have), but after a couple of weeks ebay just closed my request with no explanation, or way to contact Ebay anymore for solution. They literally assisted in fraud. Dont use it.

Bad experience buying on ebay, the seller abuse the buyer because there is not contac info for claims, no refunds and seller play with customers the way the want with you. After many emails to a seller name john9_54, no refund of my money and no answer at all. My money got wasted on a scam company.

I had to call an Ebay Germany. Awful people, rude, don't even have single English speaking personnel. In Belgium and Holland, they will offer you a few languages to choose from. The whole of Europe is so multinational now. Germany is still stuck in the past and thinks their language is number one. English is not my first language but it is a business language and it really works in many countries. As an international company, Ebay should cater to multi-national European groups.

I have shopped with this company for over 10 years.
Wednsday I was treated appallingly by them.
I ordered 2 blouses one green, and one in navy.
Because I liked them I ordered another one in grey.
When the order went to my email ,it turns out they aren't sending the grey one I ordered but another green one. Why would I want another blouse in green.
I tried within 2 mins of the order to cancel it .in fact I tried all afternoon to cancel,
I was very stressed out, under the strain I ended up rowing with my daughter because of the tension it was causing. I tried contacting the seller several times.
so I went onto the Ebay site to close my account ,as so as I mentioned I wanted to close my account a window came up stating did I want to speak on webchat. I agreed.
He kept saying you've got to do this ,then you've got to do that. I said just cancel the order and if a green blouse turns up here ,after all the stress its caused,then I will not shop on Ebay no more.
Next morning, theyve dispatched the green blouse. This is a disgraceful way to treat a customer who has shopped with them for years.
I was very upset , I can't believe they couldn't just cancel an order within two minutes of it being wrongly made by them.
That's finished me with that Company ,They don't care one bit about their loyal customers.
