Bought some luggage online. Site said error, so I tried again. Same error showed. I then received two emails confirming same order twice though it had not appeared to go through. I immediately called and agent credited one on my double purchase. Here is the problem. They said it could take 3-10 days for credit to come off my debit card. The bank would take that long to remove the double charge. Guess what?? A third charge then was taken off of my account. I called about that and was told same thing about length of time for credit. We called our credit union and they said they did not know what they were talking about. They gave us a number to call on dispute. What the heck? These are not easy times and there is no reason for this to happen, especially since we did not order or want three sets of luggage. Do not place an online order with them - Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!

I bought this off of Brads Deals. The pics made the item look quite large and roomy. I am not sure if dimensions were on the ebags BD page. I had to look around after I received the bag to find the dimensions.

They say they have a lifetime guarantee, but it's been a month since I submitted one and they have never even responded to tell me they would or wouldn't honor it. Also they only ship UPS which is the worst shipping service available.

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. I paid extra shipping to have delivery before Christmas. I received an email saying that they canceled my order because they couldn't get it here before Christmas. Then they shipped it after Christmas at full charge...when I no longer needed it because it was obviously a Christmas gift that I ended up replacing with another product. So when I received the cancellation email, I emailed them back saying I did not want it and it was supposed to come before Christmas. Then they said I had to wait to receive it and they would send a return shipping label. When we finally got the product, reached out for the return label, and sent it back, we STILL only got a partial refund, had to go through a ton of hoops and had to pay a premium for shipping before Christmas. Not to mention they charged a warehouse replacement fee without my knowledge that was never refunded, even when they got the product back. What a complete waste of time and money. As someone who online shops frequently, I have never run into so many problems with a company. This place is a scam!

In December of 2018 with the travel responsibilities of my job increasing I sought out and found a travel/laptop bag I thought would work from ebags and I ordered it. Since then I've been very happy with my "Professional Slim Laptop Backpack." As I returned home earlier this month I noticed a tear in the water bottle holder. I snapped a photo and sent it to ebags and asked if this was something they'd seen before and for advice on how to get it repaired. I was immediately contacted by Customer Service and asked for more photos. I took more photos and sent them in and within twelve hours was advised I would be receiving a brand new replacement in the next 3-6 business days. Three days later my brand new replacement arrived. Wow! Now THAT is Customer Service! Thanks ebags!

Read these reviews. They are true. I wish I saw these. I ordered 2 suitcases. One gets lost on way to me and they want me to wait for an investigation when they clearly see I didnt get my items when promised. They first wanted me to do all the leg work then I threatened to write a bad review and call my credit company. Then they put the investigation in with the delivery company. They still wont refund me until the review is done. That is not how one conducts good business. they will not let me write a review on their site either, funny how that is. Do not recommend and stress to stay away. Read these reviews!

I've been trying for a month now to get a refund for an item that they lost in the mail and it's like pulling teeth. They initiated an investigation with the USPS who later called me and told me they approved for them to issue me a refund because the item was lost. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for a refund andAfter calling customer service they again told me they need to call me back within 24 hours. They do not follow up and they do all that they can to not refund their customers. Avoid using this company because it's a scam. They were happy to take my money but now that the item is lost they're not willing to refund? Unethical business practices!!!

Know their return policy. I purchased a gift for my daughter that was Patagonia. From the shipping time until it was opened was 35 days. Their return policy is 30 days and would not let me exchange. I asked to speak to a manager and apparently they cannot transfer calls. How convenient. A manager has yet to return my call. What a joke! I will never purchase anything from this company and will make it well known!! I hope @Patagonia knows how they are being represented (poorly)!

I ordered a bag from eBags.com for an airplane carryon because of the description and reviews. It came quickly but was much smaller inside than I expected so I returned it. They were very good about accepting the return, but the process was very expensive. It cost $14 for the return shipping and handling. I would have gotten part of that money back if I purchased another item--the amount would have been applied to the new purchase. I thought this was way too expensive & will not be purchasing from eBags.com again. It was order number 33398327 by way of proof that this was my actual experience.

Returned a jacket I ordered. Despite having proof of delivery of the return, it's been over two weeks waiting on my refund. Excuse after excuse and now I'm told it will be another 5 days. WORST online shopping experience I've ever had. They are nothing but a drop ship company anyway so you are better off going directly to the manufacturers website for the sales you see on eBags.

One last attempt through customer service was successful. They credited the small price difference and replaced the defective bag at no cost. It shouldn't have taken 3 attempts, but kudos to them for finally doing the right thing.

Wow. In a day and age that you can buy a mattress and use it for months to see if you like it, this company will not let you try their bag and return it if you aren't happy with the product. I purchased the TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible backpack and used it for a weekend trip, where I realized I hated it. Despite being a backpack, it's too big for a carry-on. It literally doesn't fit in the overhead compartment of an airplane and I had to check it. It's not even remotely water resistant, as it was in the rain for a very short period of time and all my clothes were wet. When I tried to ask about returning it after my trip, within the 30-day window, they let me know that it must have all the tags on it and can't be accepted by the warehouse if used. Apparently, a quality product and customer service don't rank high on this company's list of things that are in their core values.

Purchased a carry on bag on Sunday (3/3) to be delivered on
Wednesday (3/6) for an upcoming trip leaving on Friday. I received an
email on Tuesday (3/5) stating that the bag I ordered and paid for was
out of stock. They even started the email with "Hello Valued Customer".
Ebags is selling merchandise that they don't have! Very disappointed to
say the least. I can not and will not ever deal with them ever again,
and will let others know about my experience as well. Lesson learned
I'll purchase my luggage locally or via Amazon. At least Amazon wouldn't
have sold something they didn't have and if they did, they always put
the customer first and make compensation for the inconvenience.

We purchased two sets of Fortis Hardside Spinners. My husbands large suitcase has a zipper problem. So, he's been using the carry-on and will have to use our old suitcase for checked baggage. We bought these early for an upcoming trip and it's no longer covered by the 30 day return policy.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but my experience eBags has been (and unfortunately still ongoing) extremely disappointing.
I purchased a very expensive suitcase which I needed for an upcoming business trip and used the 2 day shipping option to expedite the shipping. I received an email stating that the suitcase was shipped with a UPS tracking number, however the UPS website states that the package still hasn't been released to them even after 2 days that eBags claimed that the order shipped.
Customer reps only apologize about the situation and don't really take the initiative to resolve the issue. All of the emails I've received claim that the order will be shipped and/or have been shipped, which is not true.
I was extremely hesitant about purchasing anything from eBags due to their negative reviews. In conclusion, I also recommend all future buyers to consider all options before purchasing from eBags unless they want to go through headaches. I'm very hesitant to purchase from them ever again and don't recommend the company to any of my family/friends/coworkers.

As with many others reporting here- Failed to deliver on time, offered rote excuses, refused to cancel order, failed to keep promises regarding facilitating return. Resolution still pending. Order from them and expect endless frustration. READ REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING! I regret not having done so.

This company sends the complete incorrect product, then expects you to return it, then you have to re order the order you paid for. This all with a three week wait.
This is the fine work of their robotic customer 'success' team.
And no apology at all.
Do not purchase from this glossy multinational owned retailer, you will only be disappointed.

Sent wrong item that was cheaper and refused to return refund or replace!! Customer service rep never replied. When I emailed them, they finally did. No satisfaction on my end.
