I would leave ZERO stars if I could. I bought a pair of shoes and when I received the order the return label was on top of the shoebox. The shoes did not fit right so I called Eastbay to get a return label. I returned the shoes within 14 days (which is the time frame that you are given). I then got a email that my order had been received and I should get a credit within 7-10 days. I got a snail that my PayPal account was credited back and when I went to look I was shorted $6.99. I sent a email to Eastbay and was told that they charge you to return the product even during the time frame. The agent said they would credit it back this one time as a courtesy. I waited 10 days and still haven't received the credit. I sent another email and I was told that if I didn't receive it by the next day to contact my bank. I did not receive the money then and I sent another email and was told that it has been sent and to wait 5-7 days. Needless to say I haven't received the credit I was told I was getting yet. The customer service there is TERRIBLE and cannot tell the truth and get something right. Do not order from this company!!!

I don't even know if they are in business anymore but I wouldn't say my experience was either good or bad. I don't like talking companies down, but I would go with caution. Sometimes shipping can be tremendously long.

Purchased a pair of baseball spikes online...their website said "thank you for your order" but did not receive an order confirmation by email...twenty minutes after ordering I called their 800 customer service number and the representative said the order did not go through so order again...did that, same thing happened...decided to check my bank account (used a debit card) both orders were charged to my account. Four calls to the customer service department...not one could help cancel one of the orders nor explain what happened! Received BOTH pair of spikes and was told just return one pair. Their customer service was non-existent!!! Asked to spesk with a supervisor many times and was put on hold for endless amount of time until finally just hanging up! I will NEVER order from Eastbay ever again! What should have been a simple transaction turned into a nightmare!!!

This company is ridiculous. My son’s godmother purchased sneakers for him and we received the wrong sneakers. I shipped them back and they wouldn’t tell me if they were received. They tried to say my son ordered the sneakers when I told them exactly who purchased them. The manager wasn’t much better. He asked me everything over that I had already told the previous customer service representative. That is why I personally don’t order Nike from third party. It wasn’t like they were giving me the money from the return. Since when is there a problem to return a package and give them the order #, purchasers name and state, and the shipping information not enough to find out if an order you returned was not enough information to say yes it was received or no it wasn’t.

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE CARIBBEAN. Spoke to a Jose and supervisor Justin about a defective item and they straight up said no I can’t get a replacement item for the same price. Nothing they can do for me. no customer service skills ever! Didn’t offer anything as a courtesy. After 3 months of use the backpack is tearing apart.. WORSE 40 dollars I’ve ever spent. NEVER BUYING from EASTBAY AGAIN!!

I ordered green Timberland boots and instead tennis shoes (red, white, and black Nike Jordans) were shipped. I called to get them replaced and, again, the same incorrect item was shipped. On another call to customer service I was told I could order another item which didn't have to be the matching price because of my troubles. We hung up so I could pick a boot. After speaking with that associate (John) I received a different associate when I called back. She explained to me something different than the previous associate. I explained to her what he told me and she told me to give her the product number. I did so and was also told I would receive a $15 gift card. I was emailed a $10 gift card instead. It's been several days and I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation or anything relating to the new item. In calling back today I've been notified that no new order was placed, and I've been hung up on by a supervisor (Hector) 2 times and an associate once. Granted, I never disrespected anyone but this is the treatment I've received. If I was scheduled to receive a refund instead of the higher priced shoes then that should've been made clear to me before I was off the phone. This did not happen and the associate led me to believe I was receiving the new item I picked. I spoke with a supervisor (Kevin) who said he's going back through my phone conversations to find out what was said. I'm sure that never happened with this shady, unprofessional company & I don't understand. Eastbay has made the same mistake 2xs and associates have lied to me and led me astray. I'm not in the wrong but I just want it to be made right. I waited for Kevin to contact me with his findings from the tapings but that never happened. Instead, I received an email stating they would email me a $5 gift card & I won't get my refund til they get these 2 messed up orders back. WHAT!? This company is the most trifling and disrespectful company I've encountered and I would never do business with them. If I'm treated like this I'll take my business elsewhere.

I just recently ordered some shoes back in August 2019, at the beginning of the month. I ordered a pair of all black Nike Airmax 90. I received them but the shoes were in a "worn" state. The shoes were grey on the bottom from being worn outside. There was a scuff mark on the left shoe from the right shoe helping pry it of the foot. The stitching around the toes on the right shoe was snagged. There were creases on top of the shoe from being worn. There were fuzzy balls from someone socks in both shoes b/c they were worn. The shoes were so dull, no shine what so ever. I called & spoke w/ Gary in customer service. Nice guy, very helpful. I returned my shoes to get a new pair. I just got my 2nd pair the other day. This pair looks like the first pair should have.
Now back in high school during the 90's I ordered from Eastbay ALL the time. I loved them never any issues. For some reason or another they tried it this time.
I am happy that there were no issues on me returning my shoes for another pair.
My advice is to ensure your not shipping out worn shoes. I know ppl return items & yes they try them on. But you have to ensure your customers are receiving what they are paying for. I've ordered other Nike Airmax, brand spanking new.
Thank you for listening/reading :)

I've ordered a pair of shoes and they were sent to the wrong address and now eastbay is telling me I have to wait 2 weeks to see if I can get a refund or another pair of shoes and always they cannot guarantee me that they will have my shoe size. I feel ripped off, also ups have already completed their investigation by admitting the shoes were infact left at the wrong address. I have not received any phone calls from eastbay only time I hear from them is when I call. I will not do business with them again this is my first and last time.

awful awful company that specialize in ripping customers off. They attach themselves like leeches to schools and sell you subpar clothes for premium prices then refuse to reimburse when you are unhappy with the poor product quality. Then they even suggest you sell the clothes or swap them with other kids. What kind of company does that? Not one i ever heard of. NEVER BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS

I ordered some adidas ultraboosts and wore them for 15 minutes before I realized they hurt my feet due to them being to small, so I packaged them up and sent them back to be returned. They did not email me when they got them so I called to make sure they received the shoes, they told me a refund would be processed in 5 days. A couple days later I received my shoes in the mail with a note that they could not be returned because they had been worn... no email or anything. Then I called wondering if there was anything I could do to get any credit for them since they were expensive shoes and they told me that they couldn’t help me since they had already been returned to me (I HAD NO IDEA BECAUSE THEY NEVER EMAILED ME!!). I will never be purchasing anything from Eastbay again, they are a terrible company.

If I could give it 0, I would do it, the worst customer service that may exist, the supervisor "Dylan" is a bad mannered and arrogant, if you want to avoid headaches, do not buy here.
I bought an air max 270 these came to my house, the model came small so I asked them to change my size and they did it, when they processed the order that was by phone, they assumed the data and they sent the shoes to the Credit card address, not the address that they sent the shoes the first time, I called to give me an answer and the only thing that I found were rude by their staff, they did not accept to cancel the order. I had to drive 90 miles to pick them up for their mistakes. First and last time using this company!
The worse ever.
The quality of the shoes is very low. The shoes came with glue on the front.

I purchased some shoes from Eastbay online, and they canceled my order. I got no email or a phone call from this company. When i called them to figure out what was going on they kept transferring me to other departments. I've bought items from this company for years, and now they canceled my order for no reason and sent me to a department where you have to leave a message. On top of that they never have my shoe size! I finally found my size on their website and now i won't them because the order got canceled. This company has poor business practices and I'll never buy from them again, and I'll make sure family/friends don't anymore. SUCH A WASTE OF MY TIME!

I paid $196.09 for a pair of LeBron 16 shoes. One shoe was pink on the bottom and the other was red on the bottom. I called and told them I had purchased the shoes and I was outside my 30 limit however East bay said I could return them anyway. After 2 weeks I called and was told I'd get a refund. After another 2 weeks the same exact shoes were returned to me stating I was outside the return time limit. I may as well flushed that money in the toilet not to mention my time and effort. I'll NEVER order from them AGAIN!

They wouldn't accept a return on shoes I wore once to try them out, saying they were too dirty. Sorry guys, you can't expect to compete with Amazon with policies like this. Most companies in 2019 don't have archaic policies like this, and now I'm stuck with expensive shoes I can't wear. Awesome.

Ordered some baseball pants, socks and a pair of batting gloves. I put the order thru and I didn’t get an email confirming the order so I called up next morning saying that the order was canceled because they couldn’t ship this type of product to Australia. Took Eastbay 5 days to realize that the shoes I ordered were not available. Don’t waist customers time and have this reflected on the website. I should not have been able to place the order if merchandise was out of stock.

Purchased 110.00 nike's for my son and they hurt his feet. Wore them one time in the gym. We mailed them back and they returned them to us saying they do not return used shoes. Called customer service and a person names Tyreese said that was their policy and told me to have a good day. Won't be doing business with them again.

Does not like to honor returns/exchanges!!! I’m out $120 for a pair of volleyball shoes that made my daughters heels bleed through her socks the first time wearing them. Customer service was awful too!!! No sign of concern for the consumer and no other suggestions offered. Just told I was SOL. Will never use this company again.

I think Eastbay sucks because they have the worst online service.
In the past, I have repeatedly had problems using Eastbay gift cards, with Eastbay’s website rejecting my card codes as invalid. Calling the telephone service involves tortuous conversations with multiple agents none of whom seem to know what they are doing and most of whom have a command of English that is shaky at best. I have no problem with Hispanics, but in a business that relies on telephonic communication, they should at least vet their hires to make sure they are fully conversant… better yet, they should be fully literate.
My latest episode through Eastbay involved an attempt to buy a pair of football cleats for one of my sons. I had a gift card, which, naturally, did not work when I put its code into the website. So I called the 800-number and spoke with “John”. After 39 minutes on the phone John had determined that I had $20.71 on my gift card but had otherwise TOTALLY screwed up my order, failing to apply the online discount of 20% among other things. It got so bad, I told him to cancel the order, which he said he did. Imagine my surprise when I awoke the following morning to find an email informing me that my order had shipped, and that I was to be charged the full retail price for the item (no 20% discount as stipulated on the website) and without my $20.71 credit for my gift card. I called Eastbay, explained my situation to Trey (or maybe it was Dre), who told me there was nothing he could do for me, that I would have to return the item and then resubmit the order. I asked to speak to a manager. Ryan got on the phone and straightened everything out for me, saying that I would be getting a credit to my credit card account for 20% discount; $20.71 for my gift card, and a few more bucks for the decrease in applicable sales tax. Whether or not this will actually happen remains unconfirmed as I have not seen the credit come through yet. But still, I lost another 20 minutes clearing up John’s screw ups, 20 minutes that I would have rather spent doing just about anything else. Ryan was sympathetic to this loss, and told me he would email me for my trouble and my loyalty to Eastbay a coupon good for a 25% discount on the Eastbay website. Pretty nice, eh? I was happy.
I was happy until I went on the website today and tried to buy a pair of Nike Air Vapormax shoes (Product #: I1240023). When I put in my discount code the website refused it saying I could not apply the discount to that product. I called the 800 number, and they confirmed the code was no good for that product. Nowhere on the email accompanying the discount code did it say there were ANY limitations on what I could buy outside of a time limit of 60 days. That SUCKS! What kind of acknowledgement and concession was that to me for having to cope with Eastbay’s unending screwups with my use of its services.
Lesson learned: Buying from Eastbay is nothing but trouble. I have purchased products from Eastbay on multiple occasions over the last six years, but no more. Never again.

Customer Service and communication was so bad I generally believed I had been scammed by a fake shoe selling site. after 20 calendar days my shoes are still yet to arrive. after calling John he then said the shoes will be here in 2 weeks. afterwards I finally received an email of shipping update. (I assume he had forgotten to place my order, and only just did after I called).
