Just noticed Easily hasn't even 'claimed' this page on Trustpilot, so they don't even know about these reviews! Says it all really.

After 10 years of great service, last year this company imploded and sank without trace. After various unresolvable problems, like email not working, 5 year old versions of my website on Google, disappearing off Google completely...the list is endless, I moved to Ecohost where for the last year I have had fantastic stress free service. Despite having nothing with Easily, this incompetent joke of a company still insist on trying to bill me for an account I no longer have. Had one this morning. I used to call them but it does no good. They have given up. They dont care. The company needs to be put down and out of its misery. Look at the reviews. Avoid at all costs. Appalling.

It's a pity you can't give minus stars.
Easily were a good company as many reviewers have noted.
Now they're a joke.
I've been with them for over a decade. No issues.
Now they're basically fraudulent.
Auto-renewing and billing for domains when that options set to off. Never replying to support or billing. No refunds. When you phone a bored lady just tells you to email. Where you get auto-response and nothing more.
Best of all they didn't let me know about the .uk domains available for my .co.uk so had to get those for my sites.
They've taken the money but not registered the sites! So rather than fight their non-existent support I purchased the three .uk domains I already supposedly have from a decent ISP.
AVOID AVOID AVOID.
I've transferred all my domains out as of today. And will cancel my credit card as there's not even an option to remove your payment info. Absolutely useless.

They were really good (I was a customer of over 20 years) until I forced into an "upgrade" of their customer portal about a year ago. The new portal is unusable and not fit for purpose. It is next to impossible to find what you want to do and the exact opposite of intuitive.
At the same time, their support because non-responsive which I assume was due to the huge number of complaints and queries they must have had about the confusing and awful online system
One of my email services renewed in December 2018. I paid for a year which should take me to December 2019. However, they renewed it in July a whole 6 months early and I've spent the better part of 2.5 weeks trying to get the duplicate charge refunded. The only response I get is that my query has been passed to the billing team who will respond in 24-48 hours. They never do.
Please do yourself a favour. Avoid this company at all costs. They are not what they used to be.

It is truly difficult to comprehend just how bad this company is. One star is over generous but the only option available for a truly terrible business. On a scale of +5 to -5 you would have to give it a -5. It all started when Easily (and it's outdtated platform) got bought by Netnames and they migrated everything onto a new system. That was an absolute disaster - historic records lost, locked out of my account, customer service wouldn't pick up calls. Now I find that a company specialising in registering domain names can't - guess what - register domains. So my priority .uk registrations got screwed up because they took my money, confirmed the order and then totally screwed it up. Now trying to get out out there and find they also changed a bunch of my contact details to easily email addresses so the transfer authorisation codes won't get to me. When I try to change my contact info I you can't becasue that also doesn't work. Instead they sent me a detailed form to sign and send back. I mean come on....a registrar where you have to fill in and sign paper forms. Seriously, this is one you have to avoid. The only consolation is that customer service do at least pick up calls now and try to remain good humoured while the whole thing is collapsing around them.

I wish it was possible to give these fraudsters zero stars.
I tried to pay for hosting via their control panel 3 times.
The money came out of my bank account 3 times. But my account said I had not paid.
Eventually the payment was taken automatically when I added PayPal details to my control panel.
Easily owe me for 3 lots of the hosting payment. They claim I have not paid, even though I've repeatedly sent them PayPal and bank payment reference numbers.
Avoid these fraudsters.

The service and support from this company is unbelievably terrible.
We reported an issue with a clients email, where a simple email forward was not working, and three weeks on we're no further forward. We are still experiencing the same issue (seems this should be a simple fix for a domain/email/hosting company!) and we've not had any further reply or support, after three further emails asking for an update and their assistance.
We've now requested Easily assist with the transfer of my clients' domain names so that we can move them elsewhere and finally get things working, as their systems were failing to simply update the registrant details. I only hope they don't take another 3+ weeks to sort that out!!

Zero stars of course.
I agree with everything Robbie says below. On the basis on my experience you should not use this ISP. In addition to Robbie's experience they have tried to overcharge me on three occasions fo a total of around £400. They are completely chaotic, in fact they are probably well qualified to form the next government!
Further, in addition to Robbie's advice, if you have a top level domain such a .net, .org, or .com you will not be able to use Nominet to transfer it to another ISP. I found a workaround by doing a 'Whois' search on my domain and determining the identity of the ISP (based in the USA). I then contacted them by email and explained the situation. They responded in less than 24 hours with an unlock code - brilliant.
Like Robbie, I have now transferred my three domains and email service to EcoHosting who are everything an ISP should be.

Same as the rest .
I had a website with easily .co.uk it was never a problem .I decided to use them for a new website which had a DEADLINE, I filled in the form and they within a minute took £59.99 from my account .
I received a email saying click on the link and start building your brand new site which I did but the link didn't open website editor.
I contacted EASILY Support the guy said after a while ahhh its because you have gone through our old site which doesn't work anymore we are now Easily.UK , I replied well it took my money within a minute .He said the billing team would have to transfer the £59.99 over something he couldn't do it was Thursday Night I told him I had to have the website up and running for Monday Morning ,he said he would escalate the ticket .
That was 31st October so I missed my deadline and 7 weeks later I still have no refund .
I have made several calls to some very rude customer support and sent several emails requesting my refund .
I just tried calling the support number which now doesn't work have they ceased trading ?.
Perhaps judging by the amount of unsatisfied customers it should be taken to BBC Watchdog .
This company is trading wrongly and need to be sorted .

AVOID USING THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! - Easily.uk used to trade using .co.uk as their 'brand' - last year they moved from that to just .uk - At the same time, they introduced a new 'portal' which is worse than useless; since then they've basically 'bled out' - It's over a year since they lost my 17 years of custom; like others, my experience was appalling! - Now they're sending me emails about how Brexit will affect .EU domains - which I've never owned... They shouldn't still have my details (breaches GDPR) ...Bottom line. EASILY - in both .UK AND .CO.uk form - THEY MUST BE THE MOST INCOMPETENT COMPANY IN BRITAIN! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE ABSOLUTE COWBOYS!

Firstly, I'll say that I've moved all my domains and services away from Easily, and there's nothing I can add to the tales of woe everyone has experienced, but I have collated some information that some of you may find useful as follows;
In 2016 HgCapita (then owners of NetNames, of which Easily was a subsiduary) sold NetNames to US business services company CSC Global.
It appears that CSC moved all servers, tech and support to Canada rebranding as 'easily.uk' (without the 'co'). This move was the reason for the so-called upgrade. 'easily.co.uk' is now dead for all practical purposes; if you type easily.co.uk into your address bar it redirects to easily.uk. Laughably, the 'easily.co.uk' logo sits at the top left hand corner of the 'easily.uk' website home page.
According to Companies House, Easily Limited has three current directors, one based in the UK and two in the US whose address is at CSC Golbal's HQ at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808, USA (Tel: 00 1 302 636 5400). You can search the Companies House website for company information if you want to know more.
CSC Global's European HQ is apparently at 25 Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5LQ (Tel: 020 7565 4090), which appears to formally be CSC Adminstrative Services Limited (company number 03709856) – the company's name having been changed from NetNames Operations Limted in December 2017). This is the address at Companies House also. There is also a Corporation Service Company (UK) Limited at the same address. The registered address of Easily Limited (company number 03900580) is also the same Canary Wharf address.
However Royal Mail's current PAF (Postcode Address File) only shows NetNames at the 25 Canada Square address. Neither Easily, nor CSC show as valid addresses with that postcode, which is likely why some have complained of letters addressed to Easily being returned.
If you dial the Canary Wharf number (above) you could end up being put through to an office in another country eg Sweden.
So, make of that what you will. It looks to me like a web of confusion and chaos and my experience is that communication, as far as it exists at all, is about as bad as it it is possible to get.
If you are having trouble moving domains out of easily, Nominet (the .uk controller) can move your .uk domains in one go to another provider for £10.
I can recommend Ecohosting and PAC Web Hosting as alternative.

'Dear valued customer' is the auto-obscenity you receive when emailing this shower. As said many times below this was once a great company which, since it was taken over, is now absolutely appalling. I am so concerned about their integrity that I am going to move away from them.

I finally managed to get my credit card removed from their payment page (you can add cards but not remove them). And then 6 weeks later, I finally got my account closed. I moved to TSOHosts, which are cheaper, with excellent help pages, wonderful support staff and a control panel that is, compared to Easily's "upgrade" like comparing a modern car to a horse and cart...
It pains me, as a former long-standing customer, to see what was once and innovative company implode on itself....

Been with Easily for over ten years, always been great and have widely recommended them. As of the last year or so they have turned absolutely hopeless and I’m now moving my domains elsewhere. Particular mention has to be made of their new ‘auto renewal’ function under which they now simply plunder your credit card with no advance notification. A real shame - how to wreck a good, competent company in a little under a year.

Really quite the worst customer services experience I've ever had. I've been their customer for about 17 years without real cause for complaint. However, this year they've been undergoing an incredibly badly managed IT infrastructure change and my website was suspended in November due to an issue with their release. It was completed out of action for nearly a month and I lost emails during that period as well for at least 4 days. Whilst my website is now restored I still am unable to login to do any updates. At no time have they even offered an apology. My most recent requests for a full apology and compensation for the loss have been completed ignored. Time for a change.

When I was doing my books I noticed a suspicious looking ‘double payment’ for exactly the same amount, taken within weeks of each other and despite repeated attempts (circa 7 emails over 2 months - and 3 subsequent calls to support) I was completely unable to get any form of response from Easily Billing whatsoever.
Rather frustratingly it would now appear ‘Billing’ is completely uncontactable by either email or via the support desk, coupled with no live chat or direct phone option?
Initially, all I had (repeatedly) requested was some kind of proof (e.g. an Invoice) as to exactly what the second payment was for?
If only it was still like when you used to be able to login to your account and see, download and print all of your historical invoices, however this was all erased as part of the .co.uk to .uk ‘upgrade’ process!
Frustratingly, in the end I had to reach out to MasterCard to sort it out for me (whom swiftly investigated it) and refunded me the full amount, within a matter of days...
Shame really, as I had been a loyal Easily customer for over 15 years but I am afraid to say (as other reviewers have reported here) it seems things have gone really badly wrong over the past year or so (what with the new ownership coupled with the combined portal and billing) ‘upgrades’!
Reluctantly, I subsequently decided to go thru the pain of moving everything to a new provider - but TBH so happy I did now...

Honestly the worst customer service I've ever had. I have a problem with the email address that they host (in that it has stopped working entirely). I've switched hosting to Squarespace (who are awesome) ad asked them for a refund but they're completely ignoring me. It's now been over a month since I was told their billing department would contact me 'as soon as possible'. Despite emailing them every few days for an update I never get a response. I've also called them and the person at the other end told me I didn't have an account, even though I was logged into it while I was talking to him. He also said he'd get someone to call me back 'urgently' and they never did.
I'm a small business and I've lost over a thousand pounds' worth of business because of them. Stay as far away from them as you can.

Horrendous experience, my company’s email system has not worked since the 14th Aug 2018; it’s now 17th Oct 2018. Despite numerous phone calls and emails they appear totally unconcerned and cannot/will not sort out the problem.
As a business Easily.co.uk is obviously in crisis mode, I guess it’s only a question of time before they suffer total meltdown!
Anyone know how to claim compensation? Or is there a body whereas they can be reported in an effort to try and get help?

It pains me very much to have to be critical of a company that used to provide a simple, effective, reliable and recommendable service. My own web hosting area was arbitrarily suspended in early November without notice, and although they have now restored the files and the service, it's too late as I have already moved them to another supplier and transferred the domain under which they are visible. It is very sad. I see that I am not alone in my disappointment.

This company is a shower of excrement.
Having dealt with Easily for several years, their interface has always been a bit rubbish, but functional. Hence, when the new announcement of the all bells-and-whistles shiny Easily.uk platform arrived in my inbox, I was slightly weary.
Never did I expect the shitshow that ensued. In short, everything that I've done with easily over the past few years, from domains to emails, has been lost. Seemingly the only record of anything ever taking place is the email invoices that I have backed up.
Upon spending several hours on the phone with the first lines of defence of Easily's customer support department, who we'll call Gimp Cadets, Gimp Cadets 1-3 were a bunch of mentally-deficient, limp wristed prīcks, whose only redeemable talent was the ability to circlejerk for hours. Gimp Cadet 4 finally broke the trend, and pivoted away from blaming all my software and anything else except Easily, and acknowledged there might be a teensy problem. Several hours later, Gimp Cadet 5 managed to restore the entries for my domains on their shītty new portal. And that's it. The entries, when clicked, say that the domains could not be found, and easily claims they have never registered them. All emails, DNS settings, websites hosted with them are gone. This demanded another call to Gimp Cadet number 6. I explained that some of my domains are showing up as registered with Nominet, except I registered them with Easily several years ago. Gimp Cadet 6, dispite acknowledging that they used to use them to resell domains, insisted that it is absolutely impossible that they screwed up the migration, and that I must have instead registered the domains with Nominet, dispite invoices showing the contrary, whilst simultaneously admitting that they have no access to the account history from the original easily.co.uk setup. After some more delaying bullshīt, I finally got to speak with the next row of defense, the Middle Gimp.
Middle Gimp turned out to be slightly less intellectually deficient that the previous gremlin, though still proceeded to flip-flop for the best part of 20 minutes, telling me that my case was 'unique' and 'highly unusual'. Upon informing them of the ~200 reviews of their abysmal business on Trustpilot, the activity on FraudAction, and various other examples of their onging failures, he told me that my feedback would be passed on, then proceeded to pass me on to some other desk jockey, who was apparently a technical expert. Safe to say, Tekkers here didn't have a clue what was going on, as it transpires that some bright spark from Big Cheese Management decided to outsource the whole migration, and thus they had no clue as to progress, or timeframes for when the migration would end, or anything else for that matter.
The net result is this: What domains they have been able to track down, I've transferred as fast as possible, I've saved all my emails that were stored on my computer, and have moved my websites elsewhere. Thankfully, none of my business sites were with them, as my personal sites have dropped from Page Rank 1 out of existence, with no restoration in sight. Whichever bozo in Big Cheese Management who signed off on this fiasco should be improsoned, and the Middle Gimps that coordinated it should be rounded up, shipped off to the mines of Siberia, and fed their own innards. This company, from my experience and the readings of several others, is in the process of enacting widespread fraud, misinforming their customers, all the while being ruled over by troglodyte denizens straight out of a Douglas Adams novel. Truly the most awful company, makes BT looks like a shining beacon of customer support.

I came to give bad feedback and saw I was not the only one by far, I had used their predecessor company easily.co.uk since 2000 and although a simple provider I never had any issues. Then the company changed to easily.uk in the summer of 2018 and since then the trouble has begun as can be seen by other reviews.
I purchased hosting and domain name while they were in transition, they managed to take my payment but never delivered me my domain or hosting information. I have been trying to contact the billing department, which is just a black hole as you never hear anything back, ever since to get a refund. It is now 4 months later and their billing department still have my money and not even acknowledged my issue.
I have complained to the EU Online Dispute Resolution centre in the hopes that this may escalate this and Easily will finally acknowledge and refund me. But it seems I may have to get in line with all the other people that have been complaining.
AVOID THIS COMPANY

The other reviews sum up this appalling company.
Have been trying to deal with them since they screwed up almost every aspect of my dealings with them (Domain names / Hosting / E-Mail Processing) and got absolutely nowhere.
* Have tried to contact company directors - no response
* Have tried to contact parent company directors - no response
* Have complained to the ICO - As useful as a chocolate fireguard
* Have complained to Nominet - Told me how to transfer my domains but not interested in taking any action against Easily
* Have complained to Trading Standards - No response
None of the above could give two hoots it seems. You're on your own!
I'm in the middle of transferring my services elsewhere.
Don't even think about signing up for any service at all with these totally incompetent fraudsters!

Absolute shocker! Used to be really good under the easily.co.uk guise.
So bad, I've moved away from them as the support ticket service doesn't work on the portal, password resets don't work and they acknowledge that there is an issue with accessing the portal (gave me a new link, why not just fix it?!?!)

I've been with easily.co.uk since 2001 and yes since the migration, it's all been downhill, so I had to move my domains. I'm not giving 4* to easily, but to one of the engineers there who assisted me to migrate my domains to my new hosting registrar (ecoHosting.co.uk). Everything went so smoothly and my domains was up and running within 24 hours at my new registrar. I wish everyone at easily was like this engineer, as he knew what he was doing, and I do thank him for his help. Best time to contact easily is after 7pm or between 4 - 8am, and you will most likely get through straight away (I called at 3am). I think there helpdesk is now based in Canada, hence the long wait when you call during the day. If you want a new uk hosting company, take a look at ecohosting.co.uk. Since I've joined them, they have been very good and support has been excellent. Prices are also very good. Hope this help you guys who wants to move. Regards.

We have used them as a company for years. Previously the website was easy to use, it was simple to download invoices, see how much domain renewal was for different numbers of years etc. I never had any need to call or email them. Since the migration, the web address has changed a couple of times which led to confusion, I had queries over price for renewals, I couldn't find an invoice from the 4 we'd renewed and they've renewed 2 domains for 2 years rather than 1, even though it has 1 year on the dashboard. I spent 35 mins on hold (thank goodness freephone number) and hadn't had any reply to my 2 emails sent end March and April. Phew. We will transfer our other domains in due course. On the upside, the poor lady at the end of the phone was polite enough and said she'd pass on my feedback.
