They should get no stars. This insurance company is a fraud. I bought insurance on the hotel site. Unfortunately a week after I booked my trip I got dismissed by my employer. I have provided them all the documentation over the last 5 months and they still refuse to pay me the $640. Next time I'm going with American insurance. This is a scam.

For the past 3 days I have in vain tried to file a claim. The site says that it does not recognize my policy number. All phone numbers I called referred me to other numbers and nobody tried to help solving the problem. One gets the distinct impression that all this is made on purpose to avoid paying what is due by contract. I am still waiting for an answer to a mail of 3 days ago.

Very bad customer service. I booked a ticket through edreams, as well as purchased the package for insurance. The company, Air Italy, went bankrupt however this insurance company will not give me my money back. There is no ticket, but I have paid them money for insurance. The policy does not cover if the company goes bankrupt, so in the end, it was just useless. Please do not bother with this company.

swindler Company! I have been trying to cancel a fry for 3 days and nobody can do it for me. All the departments ignore me and said that the cannot do anything. The result is that I have a policy with them but I have lost the money.

I cancelled my flight ticket through Edream some days back , still earefund don’t mind to respond and the worst customer care Ivr not giving any valuable response to take claims forward . I doubt any one working for earefund. It’s like a ghost company just collecting money .

We booked a flight to Laos through eDreams and took a cancelation assurance with Europe Assistance as a package offered with our flight.
Our plans were to travel through Laos with my friend Josfien, who is a experienced backpacker and was doing some voluntary help in Laos.
Due to a serious illness however Josfien had to come back and out trip to Laos could go through as planned.
After giving all the necessary documents, however, Europe Assistance is still refusing to pay us the cancellation fee, even a part of it. Ridiculous.

I have provided details of my changed travel booking many times and they simply ignore and don't pay. It is disappointing that a reputable travel company such as Opodo use them. Opodo once they sell flexible ticket they wash their hands off the claim and they don't care. Try to avoid buying flexible ticket from Opodo.

Earefund is the name used for Europe assistance insurance company.([email protected],com) used by travellink.
Extremely bad service. Web site is not working, When you call, they don t take the phone, the refusion process is extremely tedious, and every time you communicate with them, respons time is about 3 weeks! I have tried the last 3 months to get a refusion, and I 'm not sure I will ever get it before I loose my temper or patience, witch seems to be their goal!

Very poor insurance service, would not recommend to purchase it. You will basically get the same email over and over again, asking to send them the same information you have already sent several times and it takes ages to get any answer back (in case you get any). I doubt if there is a customer service at all.

They have refused to payout as the airline has since, gone insolvent.
They weren’t insolvent at the time of the flight or the time of the claim.
They will find an excuse not to pay, and then will ignore you.

Horrible Experience, never wanted or asked for this insurance.
It got automatically booked while booking my Flights threw opodo.
Tried to cancel and now the Customer Service is acting like they cant see our policy number in their system. 50 Euro For nothing.

Really dreadful, don't buy this insurance.....better to put your money in a proper insurance company, not one that is possibly linked commercialy to the booking site.
Dreadful, I hazard a guess, they have the lowest pay out rate of any travel insurance company.

No gasten su dinero en asegurar su viaje con ellos porque si tienen algún problema no lo van a poder solucionar, y el dolor de cabeza que les generará será peor que lo que hayan perdido.
El departamento de atención al cliente no existe. Demoran más de 10 días (y todavía sin respuesta) en responder a una simple pregunta por e-mail. No hay un teléfono en el que atiendan. Manténganse alejado!
English: If I could give them zero stars, I would without any doubts. This is the worst insurance company ever. Do not waste your money insuring your travel with them. If you have any problem you won't get any solution, and the headache will be worst than the money you've lost.
Customer Service department does not exist. They take more tan 10 days (and still waiting) to answer a simple question by e-mail. No phone to call them. Keep away!

This insurance policy taken is incompetent, I am trying to obtain a copy of my policy form them without any success. This is what I get when applying for insurance certificate:

I tried to send them an email and still no reply. By law, I have a right to receive and obtain a copy of this insurance after five days form purchase which I did on the 10th of April 2017 . Please note that I have removed the policy number when sharing this review

I had to file a claim with them. The customer service is pretty bad: they do not even know their own policies so I had to cite text from documents I was provided with by the airline I was travelling to. Then e-mail responses are delayed and the customer support doesn't really take the time to read your mails, rather sends predefined template mails to ask for additional documents (that had already been submitted but missed by them).
