Top top top service. ... I gave an iffy review a while back Because of delivery times... but this week I’ve had utterly expert service from Ramizz and James.... seriously, if you’re a musician and you want to talk to other musicians about quite detailed things, these guys were VERY VERY good.

So I ordered an item on Sunday that was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. On Tuesday I received an email saying it was going to be delivered on Wednesday.
On Thursday I called up and they was told that the messages I had received weren't correct, and that if I wanted true information I should call up.
In actual fact, it's going to be delivered next week! What?!
This is a very dodgy business.
They make out that this is an English company. Then I received emails from Germany. I had no idea they were shipping from Germany!
Bizarrely, in the end I had to call a German number to speak to someone in the UK, who was then going to write an email to a guy in Germany!
Don't waste your time and money!

Giving 1 start because 0 starts is not possible.
Music Store has without any doubt the most rude and arrogant customer service I ever encountered. They don't care about any thing after you paid.
I even wrote the CEO Mr. Michael Sauer (his email is easy to guess) to complain about his employees but he did not seem to care either.
Maybe if everyone with bad experiences starts writing him to complain, he will finally wake up and do something about this!

Be aware that if you order goods from this company, they are likely to arrive with an EU style plug/power supply and an adapter. The adapter they shipped with my recent order is very dangerous. Not only does it look flimsy, but it also fails to meet BS1363 (British standard for plugs). It does not have shutters on the sockets, so the live bits are exposed once it has been plugged into a UK socket. Further, it was equipped with a fuse: you might think that's a good thing, but this fuse was glass and does not meet BS1362. UK fuses are supposed to be ceramic and sand filled. Glass ones aren't supposed to be used for mains, only as internal fuses in appliances. They can explode under high currents! If you are intending to use the piece of equipment you ordered for professional purposes then you are essentially stuffed, because it won't pass a PAT check with the supplied adapter.
Oh, and don't think you can get any redress from trading standards. Internet orders are governed by German rather than UK law.......

They advertised a product cheaper than other sellers, so like a fool I thought this was a good deal. The item arrived with the internal packaging opened and damaged. The product had been removed from the internal packaging (stickers holding the plastic had been cut) and had been used. It didn't work. I sent it back and asked for a replacement. Another item was sent which had been removed from the internal plastic packaging, stickers cut, and had signs of use. That didn't work either. I asked for another which hadn't been opened or used. It arrived with the stickers cut and signs of use. It didn't work. This outfit is breaking consumer laws on an hour by hour basis by trying to get people to take goods which have been opened, used and found not to work properly. In my book that's a scummy trick. Never again. So much time wasted.

The whole DV247 / musicstore relationship confusing and bordering on deception. I could have ordered a keyboard from Thomann weeks ago as they had stock but I held off as I wanted to order from a UK supplier so the synth came with a proper UK power supply. I now find the synth will be shipped from Germany on a 5 day delivery and may come with a European 2 pin power supply with clunky UK adaptor.
It's deception, DV247 are now simply a shop window to a warehouse in Germany.
Never again will I order from them.

I bought a "new" Vox Tonelab from dv247.com. A few days later it arrived.
What they sent me was not new. It had clearly been used many times before. It was filthy and had greasy finger prints all over it. It was also scratched and chipped. The box it was in looked like it had been trodden on and kicked around in the dirt. They thought they could pass this off as "new" and that I would accept it!
I know what happened because I checked the stock levels on the website before and after I bought it: They had sent me a demonstation model that they had been using in their shop for months. Either they didn't care, or they thought that I was so stupid I wouldn't notice.
I immediately contacted them to complain and eventually I was able sent it back for a refund. They promised me that they would "investigate" this matter. They must have thought I was naive if they expected me to believe that. What were they going to do: interview all involved staff and take statements? Why would they be bothered to do that? They don't care.
Anyhow, I contacted them a little while later to enquire about the "outcome" of their "investigation". The person who replied told me that the person I dealt with before had since resigned from the company (big surprise there: high staff turnover for a low-paid job), and that she could find no record of an "investigation" in relation to my order.

I usually buy items online, I've been doing it for years, and I've rarely had such a bad customer experience as when I purchased a a Gibson ES through musicstore.de.
Keep in mind, this is not a cheap guitar, so one would expect a call, an email, or any sort of communication from Musicstore within a day or two of purchase.
I called them after a couple of days of radio silence — they transferred my call to a local musicstore representative who would deal with the export of my guitar from Germany to Belgium.
He picked up my calls with a really bad attitude every day for the next week — I would have stopped calling, but to this point I had not received any sort of order update, order confirmation or tracking number There wasn't even an update on my musicstore web account. I was only sent a paypal invoice.
In the end, I received my guitar, but not before I was asked inpolitely by this rep to stop calling, because he was too busy to deal with me and my order.

Long delays! 8 days to deliver after payment! And it’s from Germany to France.
When you complain by mail, you are told you don’t have to buy on the internet

tricked again!! when you go to the website you think you are getting an item that will arrive shipped next day. Forget it!! EVERY item comes from Germany. It goes to DPD then will sit in a van for a week. Then you'll wait and wait and wait... and then maybe it will arrive. And then you wonder why, each time, you fall for their UK branded DV247 website catches you out. Please, dear god... don't let me forget again!!!

I ordered a keyboard for about £450 with free shipping. A few hours after ordering I received an email asking me to pay £60 shipping or giving me the alternative of cancelling the order. The website still shows the same product for the same price with the same free shipping.
So, make your own mind up whether you want to deal with this company. I have made up mine.

Purchased an item of furniture (Zaor Miza Jnr desk) from DV247. Initially there were problems with the delivery because DV247 had supplied an incorrect address to the logistics company. The logistics company said that DV247 frequently supply incorrect customer details. They remedy the problem by ringing the customer to find where the delivery should go. Once assembled, the desk has a 12cm portion of loose plastic trim on the side that leaves the underlying chipboard prone to being damaged. Cost £390
I have been dealing with Sian HARFORD - a Customer Services Manager - she initially claimed that DV247's lack of response to my complaint was due to not receiving the email, further communication with them/her not been answered. Further chasing up over the lack of resolution yielded an offer of £30 to fix the desk but my response, which included links to the required adhesive and a clamp to secure the trim during the adhesive drying period, have remained unanswered. All I have asked for is a slightly larger cash amount with no charge for effecting the repair myself. I should not be out of pocket for repairs for faulty goods. DV247 have shown insufficient resolve to remedy my faulty goods. I will not be buying from DV247 again unless I receive an apology and the small amount of money requested to fix the fault.

Dreadful company, I bought a Behringer Deepmind 12 from DV247, the company Musicstore use in the UK. I was sent an open box used item and nearly 2 months later I am still trying to resolve the issue. I have been informed that the company only have one person handling returns from the UK and she has not replied to my emails for over a month. I bought from DV247 a number of years ago and they were great, however they are now a front for a company that doesn't care about customer support. Buyer beware!

Very unprofessional and poor service. I made a purchase over £6k and have 3 year warranty. One of my item has developed a fault and it took 14 working days for them to reply after numerous of calls and email. The item is under one one and they asking me to pay a delivery fee. Everyone telling a different story each time I call. I will highly not recommend to anyone. Very RUBBISH customer service.

The mic arrived faulty, not functioning at all. But I do appreciate this can happen in retail as I work in online retail.
My review is about the post sales service. After emailing about the fault I received the below reply with a clear lack of concern, and quite frankly I have no idea what is going on. Surely there should be a little concern shown, And some indication about what you are going to do, and when I can expect to hear next.
Just seems like they couldn't care less to be honest, especially when my email made it clear that this was needed for a job that has subsequently been delayed...
I've instead gone to Slate directly who have been quite prompt and communicated effectively so far. So great service from Slate, but not so much for the dv247...
we regret this inconvenience. We have initiated the corresponding claim, soon we will contact you again.

Terrible customer service. Bought a Nord keyboard from them m, broke down within 5 months and no option to give a full refund. Repair or replace is a 4 week turn around. No one bothers to get back to queries made.

I attempted to buy a Cymbal pack, the order initially got duplicated at checkout(which was resolved over the phone quickly) but later the order stayed 'in process', as I raised that the item would not be delivered on the date advertised on the website due to a holiday in Germany.
The item was meant to be sent on friday, however on monday after chasing the status twice I was told that the order was on hold. Which I am now cancelling it.
In comparison with other retailers in the UK and Europe, DV is below average. This is not a complain about the customer service, they were pleasant and helpful, however the process of purchase was terrible unless it's a small straightforward item.

Excelled service, really quick contact with customer services and fairly quick return. I have bought an acoustic guitar and the A string would buzz on 2nd and 3rd fret. It would take them just a couple of hours to direct me on how to return it and in around 2 weeks I got another brand new guitar in a perfect state. I was informed what was going on, on each step and was impressed with the customer service. It wasn't really the stores fault that the guitar was faulty and the response was class, will definitely shop there again.

Received an opened enveloppe with an used Serato DJ Pro voucher code. It means I can’t use it and paid for nothing. That’s straight up fraud. Contacted the support and now their problem becomes my problem: they have to make a claim.
I don’t care about a claim to whoever, I just care about the solution. Also contacted Serato about this matter.
The fact this has happened is already scandalous. I am happy I paid by creditcard, so I am protected.

No idea how DV247 only have 3 stars, been using them since I was 16 thanks to a recommendation from my music teacher, recently purchased a lot of home studio equipment, the guy in Romford was extremely helpful, gave some great advice and even found me better deals saving me money in the process. Top company, top service, THE best place for music equipment hands down, and far cheaper than the competitors.

Terrible service. I ordered a guitar which they said was in stock, after a few days I phoned to see what happened and they said they'd lost the order but said they would send the next day. A week later still no guitar so I phoned and they told me they no longer had the guitar in stock so they promised to repay me, very poor communication.

I had a dreadful experience with returning a flautly cymbal which they refused to replace, repair or credit me. Their after sale service is very poor so I would think twice before ordering from this company. I have started using Gear4music.ie, I must say they have been superb so far to deal with.

Back in February 2019 I purchased a Behringer power mixer PMP 2000D. There was no information on the voltage of this product. Since most electronic products are 110V & 220V, I didn't think that this will be an issue. No one from the Music Store bothered to let me know that this was only 220V, knowing that this will ship to USA.
It took more than a month to receive this item (contrary to what was promised). They said the package will not go to customs, but that was not the case. After receiving the mixer now I had to shop for a converter. I ended up spending more money to be able to use this mixer.
As if all these were not enough, the mixer stopped functioning in the middle of an event, just after few months of use. Now Music Store wants me to ship it back to Germany and pay for the shipping, which is by the way is expensive. If I paid $220 for this mixer, do you think it will be wise for me to pay $200 to ship this back. I am so disappointed by Music Store this was completly unacceptable. I do not recomand buying from Music Store. If you are in USA or another country do your research before you buy.
