I ordered faux fur samples from them to help me pick the right faux fur before making a huge order, and paid for priority shipping. Not only did they take almost 3 weeks to send them, but I had to contact them through email and phone number to know when my order was coming in. I finally recieved them a week later (with no tracking number) and recieved them horribly cut. Most were cut so small with the fur cut horribly, that I couldn't see how long the fur actually was. I emailed them to let them know and was told basically that they couldn't do anything about it. So much for customer service. Avoid this company.

I have ordered 10 yards of fabric (2) 5 yards each. I received the fabric 3 weeks late. I called the first week and was lied to. I was told they had ship it out and they had a tracking number. I called 5 days later and ask for the tracking number and it took them 3 extra days to give me a number they stated they had. After the 3 week I received the fabric and 1 order was beautiful but damaged (3yards) and was the wrong fabric. There was no return label with the order and I have called and email the company. I keep getting lies. My order was almost $200.00. Please if you want good quality fabric Distinctive Fabric is not the company to order from. I will be contacting my credit card company now. Please don't get caught up with this company. It is just a Rip Off company. They should be put out of business,

I ordered fabric on the Saturday before Thanksgiving with the quicker shipping. I called Monday and spoke to a representative somewhere that assured me it would be shipped on either Monday or Tuesday to arrive that week. I got no further correspondence from the company about the shipping information and it was not received. I then attempted to call several times the following Monday-Wednesday during their posted business hours to see that their phone number was disconnected but they had already taken my money. I attempted to contact them via facebook and email with no response. I finally opened a dispute with PayPal stating non-delivery and that I wanted a full refund. Like magic I got an email that night with nothing but a shipping number for UPS. It arrived the next Saturday, which was a little late but my seamstress made due since these were wedding items. The fabric itself was very nice, but sad you have to dispute through PayPal to get action.

I ordered a few fur samples from Distinctivefabric.com in order to assess how much/what kind I would need for a project I was working on. If you sign up for an account, they give you 5 free samples with free shipping, so I ordered 3 free samples and was pleased when they arrived within a week of ordering. After making my selection, I bought a yard of the expensive fur, and waited to hear back from them regarding shipping dates and such. I got the confirmation email shortly after ordering and my payment was taken through Paypal the next day- all as it normally goes in the online ordering business.
And then I waited.
I hadn't heard anything from them for two weeks, then I get the "Customer Satisfaction Survey" in my inbox, after never getting any other kind of correspondence for the past two weeks.
I needed my fabric this week in order to finish a project due next week, and now I'm going to have to cancel my project entirely after never receiving my shipment.
Distinctive Fabric has not responded to my calls or emails, so I'm going through Paypal to get my money back.
Do NOT buy fabric through this company! Even though they seem responsive with samples they will take your money and run when you actually purchase something.
