Every waa good just need faster shipping

This retailer was offering the best price by a significant amount; so I ordered a Seiko watch from them even though they were not known to me. They sent me a confirmation email, and charged my credit card.

I then went to their website couple of days later; to check out when it had been shipped - only to find the order had been cancelled, without them even notifying me. [And I checked my spam bin to be double sure.]

If I hadn't happened to check when it was shipped, I would never have known until much later that the order had been canceled; It's a good thing it was not a gift..

Since this was news to me, I wrote them to verify the cancellation; and was told yes, it was cancelled, due to being "stocked out." This is despite them 1.confirming the sale; and 2.taking my money.

They promised a full refund. As of the writing of this review, I have not yet received anything. Which is not to say it won't show up, but it hasn't yet.

I believe this clearly was a “bait-and-switch.” I believe they had no intention of selling the watch at that very low price. I think people that who check these reviews should know about this type of experience; in the hopes that others can avoid problems with them.

Beware of internet sellers you do not know. Especially when they’re offering a price that seems too good to be true. It is.

Other issues that concern me: They list an address in Connecticut; but there is a New York City telephone number; a Canada IP address, and an IP address and a server in Hong Kong. A reasonable guess would be that they are a grey market seller out of China with an American maildrop/satellite office. This also unfortunately raises at least a possibility that they are selling fakes. I have no evidence for this either way, however.
They are not Better Business Bureau certified - for whatever that's worth; which may not be much.

I would recommend checking Scamadviser.com for their fairly complete analysis. There are a number of other items of concern. That is where I got a plurality of this information. Not my opinion; theirs. Enough said.

Discount got me in and out quick with excellent customer service! My only gripe is that I never received my tire rebate but that has to do with the manufacturer--not Discount Tire.

Excellent product (Seiko SRBP39 - Orange Baby Monster) arrived in very good packaging, with clear documentation. Product is authentic and a great value.
I will likely order future products from DiscountShop USA. My only complaint was that the tracking number and shipping fell by the wayside and I was not able to track the product's arrival date. Customer service was helpful but several requests for a tracking number went unanswered.
