Literally the worst ISP. The internet keeps disconnecting repeatedly on all of my devices at home. So far they have lowered the internet speed about 3 times from 50Mbps(VDSL) to 15MBPS. The only way that I could fix it was just to call them, but their customer service is BAD, they want to hang up on you! They believe that they can trick you. Also about the telecommunication, it is expensive. 1GB for a month costs 7€ in Greece. Lastly, they just won't leave me alone! They keep calling my personal phone number and send SMS very often for advertisements and stupid things that i don't even want or wish to have! They don't care. I don't know about other countries, but in Greece Cosmote is a very very bad ISP, even if the other ones in Greece are worse. The only good thing that they have done to me is to give me a free UPS for power cuts so I can still call someone without electricity. 75€ every month for an Internet that randomly disconnects for no reason and for all the things that I have said it isn't worth It!

Simply the worst mobile services provider. Entire regions in Athens have been given up on God's will to troubleshoot the absolute lack of signal. The "out of order" conditions are in place for long and will continue further into the unknown future according to technical support department of the company, who also suggest their customers to look for another telecommunications provider.
Imagine that Cosmote used to be Greece number 1 mobile provider for many years in the past, BUT NO MORE.
Be aware and avoid this company.

I wish there were no stars at all for they don't deserve any
No matter how hard you try to get in contact with these people they push you to answering machines pretending that a technician should talk to me but they never pick up the damn phone so I end up waiting for hours and nothing.
I am going to abandon this company for good for many reasons
Their services are horrible
Their prices are probably the most expensive in entire Europe
The coverage is inexistent
Keeps breaking the signal and the 4g and only works when it doesn't serve you no longer.
Over all it is a disastrous company.
I never shall look forward to make use of your shiti services again.

AVOID! The worst telecommunication company ever! Welcome back to the 20th century! Useless customer service by chat or phone (not professional at all, repeating the same written script to finally hang up on you) and shops (only for sale)! You can subscribe to any options in 5 minutes but cannot cancel them even after 3 years!!! They ask you for your own personal datas over the phone even if they are calling you at your request on your personal number!!!!!!!!!!!!! The most expensive tariff in all European Union. For instance it costs more than 30 euros monthly for only 5 GB and you have to add calls and sms !!! They charge you data roaming even if it is forbidden by the EU. You pay when you are calling them (0.19 euros/min). They also put pressure on you to renew your contract even if you don't wish to!!!!!!!!!!!! A total nightmare. Better to use Tazamobile on pay as you go instead. Internet speeds are very slow at home and never as promised 9 megas instead of 24!!! Moreover they are used to throttle you whenever they want! Shame on Greek companies who are putting plenty of money in their pockets but don't care about customers! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.............

The worst company ever. They sold me speed booster in order to have better internet while I was waiting for fiber net to become available in my area (big city). My speed was 6 download and 0,4 upload. I have screenshots of my upload being as low as 0,02 Mbps!!! They never bothered to come or check or call me. I called them 10000000 times in 7 months. Then I upgraded for fibernet, almost 2 months ago... They said 10-12 working days... I thought FINALLY! Happy happy happy!
Well, almost two months from then, no fiber, not even F of fiber (bills coming every month of course) and last two weeks no phone no net. I called them 300000000 times, they are saying: we are sorry, but NOBODY has ever called me or informed me about when are they going to actually do something!!! They sent me two messages with tech randevouz like 'they will come tomorrow 8-12'. No need to say they have never appeared!!!
Guys, you may think I am exaggerating, but this is just 1% of what I went (and will go as it seems) through. Really don't want to spend much time on this crapy company. I stay with them because I am afraid I will be in deeper @#@ if they need to transfer me to some other company.
Just to add,I use internet for work, it is my source of living, I told them taht 1000 times, I was penalised $289 for two weeks, my reputation is @#$%. One more thing, I couldn't even use mobile phone for hotspot since there is no 4G signal around.
The words that came out of my mouth last few months really surprised me, luckily divine Greek language has words that can describe COSMOTE (such as bourdelo, [email protected]@@@ ktlp.)
I would give them a #@$ not a star. Sorry my French.

So after cancelling a contract with another awful internet company,i tried Cosmote,so i went to their store and signed up for internet that was back in the very start of march,and as im writing this review its April.
So after signing up i waited around 25 days for a technician to come and create the connection in a little box across the street,he did his job correctly so thats good on him,however a little cable was needed across the street from the box to my house,that was supposed to be done 2 days after the first technician,came after one week instead,so he did his job i was supposed to have proper internet connection and all that after him.
Then something even more stupid happened,the lines and all that were set up but not activated,now they told me this would be done in the same day 1 day max,so from then a week passed and i was constantly calling them to ask what is going on,and this is where the next problem comes in,the staff on the phone support are incompetent they say the same thing ALWAYS and dont know what is going on,never there never is a decent one,and yes they do hang up on you.
So yeah 2 stars because atleast the tech guys know how to do their job but the rest is beyond awful.
Oh and im most likely going to cancel their contact and get a different service...if there is a competent one in the first place.

I have lived and worked all over the world throughout my career and used at least a dozen different mobile services for lengthy periods of time. Cosmote is by far the absolute worst telecommunications company I have ever had to deal with. I used them for postpaid mobile service for more than two years, and spent more time trying to get through to their customer service than I spent actually using their phone line for work or personal matters. They make their bills as confusing as possible, and will charge you various hidden expenses. Some months my bill that was supposed to be 35 euros would total close to 100, and I would spend hours on the phone trying to figure it out, or hours in one of their shops and in the end I would just pay it because it wasn't worth the headache of trying to figure out where the charges came from. And when I left Greece I was charged 200 euros to cancel my line despite very clear assurances from their staff that I wouldn't be. They are totally unprofessional and they will lie to your face and they make it almost impossible to get customer service. Avoid this company at all costs. Go with Vodafone or WIND, or even better roam with a non-Greek EU mobile provider.

Impossible to navigate through the menu of their telephone support 13888.
When they send a message to their customer, there is no option for the customer to get back and ask questions on the specifics of the message (e.g. which is the telephone number in question - when you have multiple accounts).
No option to rate them on their Facebook page. Guess why...

Are you people for real???? We are customers for more than two years......we were paying every month from €92-€98.... Today we decided to leave the contract for the two out of three numbers we have. You demanded €92 for January plus another €78 for February. The main number will be free on February 7. You will return the extra money by mid March.....Why don't you open the two numbers? It took 5 minutes to close the two numbers and as you said it may take up to 48 hours to re open them as kartokinita.....Shame on you!!!!!! This is the respect you show to your customers??? Since I have the way to have mobile from another EU provider, be sure that I am going to do it. I know it is not such a big deal for Cosmote.......I will be happy though, since I will not give MY money to such an awful mobile provider. Shame on you!!!!!!

Expensive, anti-consumer politics all over the place, faulty charges, dropped connections and more. Whatever negative you can think of an ISP you can find it in Cosmote. The rest of the ISP here are worse though.

Needed to transfer my internet contract with COSMOTE to my new house, and it took ages *more than 5 weeks) and 13888 were not helpful AT ALL. They made mistakes during the transfer which made them consume many days to fix these and finally me, get my internet connection at my new home.

Too bad they don't have a minus star, I would give them 5 minus stars. I am 54 years old. I have traveled and lived in Europe since I was a baby. This company is the worst I ever encountered. We spent 36 days in Athens. We went to the branch on Syntagma Square where none of the clerks were neither professional nor friendly (helpful). Zero customer service, zero professionalism. Awful. We bought an inexpensive Chinese phone and a package which did work, mainly for navigating the streets with the GPS/Maps. The menus are in Greek, sorry fellows, but the lingua franca is English; the international language for business, travel (airports, air traffic control, etc, etc). You can't utilize the phone because the instructions are in Greek. The employees seemed not to care, they simply shrugged it off by saying "it is in Greek, that is it.! We were VERY disappointed with the complete lack of customer service in Athens in general. Thank you for allowing free expression Trustpilot. Bernardo Bernal.

I am a customer of Cosmote for the last 8 years. Recently I moved from greece to the UK but i still have my cosmote number. Yesterday i had some emergency phone calls for a surgery and despite my account was loaded with pleanty credit they blocked my calls. I could not recieve or make any call or sms. I tried to reach technical support but their lines was occupied and my calls were rejected. In an emergency situation like this is completely unacceptable. I was paying every single month for credits just to keep my greek number even if i live in the UK but after that I am done with this company. You lost 3 customers after this incident.

My problems with Cosmote started when I bought an apartment in Old Alykanas, Zante. I went with a Greek friend to sign up for an internet deal. The shop assistant started mentioning TV which I wasn't really interested in, but she said, 'no, it's all included if you sign up for 24 months'. I was quoted the price of €26 per month. I was told my first bill would be higher (€68) as it included installation of the dish, so my first bill seemed correct.
My second bill was for 2 months usage, so I expected around €52, but was instead charged at €129.50! By this time I was back in the UK, so thought I'll pay it now and hopefully they'll see the error and correct it.
I went to their website and tried online chat - after a long dialogue they said they couldn't help me due to giving out details online. I tried emails, all of which were ignored until much later on and they responded to my new ones, simply stating and showing me a copy of the contract I had signed, all of which was in Greek and filled out by the shop assistant whom I had to trust that what she was telling me and what was being ticked off on the contract was correct! It seems it wasn't. She showed me the price tariff I'd be paying per month (€26) and this is what I was led to believe I was signing up for.
My friend had the keys to my apartment and it seems the service was turned off in the Winter at some point. I've been into the shop when I arrived back in Zante in June, they weren't helpful and just said I need to pay whatever the amount the bill is and then proceeded to serve the next person.
I have kept evidence that I have spent over £50 calling Cosmote from the UK, they called me back once to say they were looking into it but the package I'd agreed to doesn't exist! They said they would call me back but never actually did.
I'm currently sill being charged for a service that they disconnected, surely this is illegal?
I've done my utmost trying to rectify this and have got no where. I'm refusing to pay the bills which I stopped payment on the second invoice hence being cut off, but I did inform them I was going to do so if they didn't sort the problem out. The latest bill just came through at €464.33 (July) .

This is the story of how Cosmote treats customers in Greece.
We have applied for Cosmote Double Play SIM on July 14th 2017. We received the router after a week. On July 28th we received an SMS saying that the contract was activated. However, there was no connection. We called the customer service and they tried to fix the problem, without success. So they said that they would call back. They NEVER CALLED BACK (first lie). We called back on the 1st of August 2017. The technical department tried to fix the problem again...nothing again...so they said they would call back. They DIDN'T (second lie). This time we gave them more time to fix the problem. We called back today 18th of August 2017 (more than a month after we requested the service). In the meanwhile we received our first bill. The contract we signed was for 27.60euros/month, but surprise surprise, on our account our monthly payment is 35euros!!! And the first bill is 55 euros!!! For a service that never worked...
Anyway, we talked to the technical department. They said, their words, "There's a technical problem and WE CANNOT TELL YOU WHEN IT WILL BE FIXED". So, we're just supposed to wait and pay in the menwhile, I guess. At this point we said that this is unacceptable and we want to cancel the contract. They forwarded the call to the contract department. The guy of the contract department said that, yes, we could cancel, but there's a charge for that. His last name is Siakas. Now, of course, we are not gonna pay for something that never worked because they are not able to fix a technical problem IN A WHOLE MONTH. So, Mr. Siakas said that in order not to pay the cancelation fee we had to talk again to the technical department and let them send to the contract department a confirmation that we are entitled not to pay, because of the technical problem...He also refused to forward our call back to the technical department and we had to call back and wait all over again. Anyway, we did call back. This time we talked to Mr. Andreou. He said that he could see that the technical problem in our area was acknowledged and they were working on it. Approximatively, this will be fixed by the end of August/beginning of September. Now, we have already waited enough, and we totally lost trust in this company. If we encounter these problems before to ever get the service, this is what we expect for the future, and we don't wanna deal with it. They totally lost our trust. We told him this and he acknowledged that we are not supposed to pay a cent. But, there is a but...because we had previously opened a case to fix the technical problem, and this case apparently is still open, we had to wait this case to close before our contract could be waived with no charge....weird...but let's say ok. We asked for an email with a written confirmation that Cosmote aknowledges that we don't have to pay. He couldn't do that. But he offered to forward our call to the contract department again, where one of his co-workers could confirm that we are not oweing money. That's when we talked to Mr. Nikolaos Adamantidis, who was quite aggressive. He said that we were talking to the wrong department, without even letting us talk. After 5 minutes of "no, you shouldn't have called here, you should have called there, why did you call this department" we finally managed to tell him that we didn't call to fix the technical problem, but to get confirmation that we can cancel with no charges. So he said that he can't do that, we should talk again with the technical departement by calling the number 1265...etc etc... PEOPLE, YOU ARE FOOLING US HERE! Who should we talk to??? We talked 2 times only today with the technical department and 2 more times only today with the contract department. Can you do your job??? Obviously no!
Finally, the cherry on the cake, we try to call 1265 from the mobile, and a recorder message said that "1265 is not accessable from your phone".
Summarizing, we asked for a service, MORE than 1 MONTH AGO, that due to technical problems was never activated. We called countless times to fix the problem, but they keep fooling us and they don't seem to know when it will be fixed. We tryed to cancel the contract for failing to provide the service in more than one month, but they are making this very difficult. We lost A LOT of time and energies. Not to mention the inconvenient, since we work online... At today this case is still open...Cosmote, please tell us, what's the next step??? Calling a lawyer?

Chat support is absolutly useless.It takes 30 mins for someone to respond to you and their response don't help at ALL.
Also the internet speed is getting worse from day to day from 27.50Mbps download it went to 10.50Mbps and from 2.29Mbps Upload to 0.50Mpbs.
