I STARTED THIS OFF AS - COPSPLUS IS A RIPOFF. I PAID FOR A SUBSCRIPTION BOX IN FEBUARY 2019 AND AS OF 3/16/19 I HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. I TALKED TO IAN AT COPSPLUS FINALLY, I TOLD HIM I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FEB SUBSCRIPTION BOX, HE SAID IT HAD BEEN SENT OUT BUT MAY HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE MAIL. HE SAID HE WOULD SEND ME OUT A BOX RIGHT AWAY. THANK YOU IAN FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE AND HANDLING THIS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

I placed two orders with CopsPlus for a leather duty belt and leather every thing else I need on the belt. All was made by Boston Leather. I found every item to be well made and of high quality. The shipping was free due to the purchase amount and the order was received within four to five days. I ran into one problem and that was the belt size was too small, even though I ordered my trouser waist size as instructed. Disappointing, but okay. When I called to discuss the problem and get them to send me the next size up is where they lose two stars in the rating. Customer service would not send the replacement belt until they received the returned belt. As this occurred a few days before Christmas I was certain I would not receive the replacement belt until mid January, so I was quite disappointed. In an attempt to shorten the delay of the use of my new equipment I placed a separate order for the belt alone (while still on the phone with customer service on my first call), that is when I found out that the next two sizes up were not available with CopsPlus, would not be available for 4 to 6 weeks, and of course I was now going to have to pay the S/H of $10 +.
No other outlet I could find carried the brand, type and size of the belt I wanted so I had to suck it up and place the order and wait. I expect to wait another 10 days at this writing. CopsPlus was unwilling to pay the shipping on the new order and I felt they should have as the belt size was ordered per their instructions and it did not fit. They did nothing to try and satisfy my needs in this development and thus earn my future business. When I found out the return shipping of the original belt was going to cost me over $20 I decided to keep the belt in the event I could use it in the future. After reading another review where a customer returned a product and was charged a "re-stocking fee", I am glad that I didn't return the belt. I am able to use the belt in the mean time, albeit on the last notch. Edit, 25 January 2019; I have increased the “star” rating by another due to customer service stepping up and being very flexible in allowing me to return the original belt, even after wearing, and placing a replacement order for the next size belt even though they knew I would not be seeking a direct replacement. They prooved very responsive and flexible in the end.

Ordered a belt over a month ago. Still have not received it. I contacted CS and was told sorry but be patient your belt is on back over and will ship at the end of next month. After paying over $10.00 for shipping and handling, I reached out to CS and asked that if they could next day my order since nothing was on the website about my order being on back order and I had to wait 2 months for my belt to be shipped. No word back from them.

Called to ask about belt sizing before ordering. Was instructed to buy a 36 for a belt and my waist was a 36. Exact words told to me were if your waist is a 36 then purchase a 36. I ordered a second belt online to get a belt quicker and it’s backordered. Didn’t even mention that on website when ordering. I also have to pay out of my pocket to ship wrong size belt back before refund which I find unacceptable when I called to say belt was too small. You’d think they’d send an email which a return shipping label since they’re the ones who told me to order that certain size which was wrong. Pulling up my pants constantly is what I was looking forward to for multiple weeks!

Now I think I understand what the "plus" means! I ordered a DeSantis holster from Cops Plus back in May, 2018. After trying out the product for a grand total of 3 hours, I found it wasn't what I wanted, and in fact, the one I did want could only be ordered from DeSantis themselves, as Cops Plus didn't have it in their product line.
I mailed the holster back the same day I received it, then had to wait almost a month to get a credit on my card - after a phone call, of course. The credit was less a restocking fee and postage (which I paid, including the package to mail it in.)
The short message here seems to be: do yourself a favor...there is no "plus" to CopsPlus. Don't bother with them. High blood pressure can be avoided by never doing business with these guys.

Cops Plus should be Cops Minus. I just ordered a 45.00 single stack magazine holder and received it with the brand logo affixed crookedly. Seller states I have to go through a whole return process, leave work early to go to the Post office and waite two more weeks to receive it simply because they selected garbage to send me. Given that it's the holidays and I simply don't have the time it'll go into the drawer as a reminder to shop Amazon.

I ordered a double magazine holder for Smith and Wesson M&P on march 5th. Did not ship until April 18th. Finally received the item and it was for Glock 22 which means it didn't work right for my magazines. That being said, I just modified it cuz I wasn't gonna wait another month and a half for the right one. This morning I check my e-mail and they sent me an e-mail saying that I never paid them. Then when I try to call them, I get an after hours message during business hours. I have always had good luck in the past with CopsPlus but after this experience, I'll be checking out LAPoliceGear and Galls. Unhappy customer.
Owner of CopsPlus just called me. He zeroed out the order and said I didn't have to pay. However, he was very abrasive and told me he was only doing it so he didn't have to hear about it anymore. He said he was unhappy with the fact that I gave a negative review and gave me the what for. He also stated that he was "happy to lose my business". Let me say this, I have been a customer of CopsPlus for over 6 years, and literally everything I have from duty belt to holster, weapon lights, OC, cuffs etc... have came from CopsPlus. I have always had positive experiences with them until this order. It maybe an isolated incident, and I apologize for the original negative review if it truly is an isolated incident. Will I use them in the future? It's doubtful, the owner sealed that deal with his attitude. Its interesting that they are happy to lose business from someone who spends a lot of money with them. Just remember, without customers, there's no business.

I received my holster on time and without any problems. The holster is extremely well made and all of the sewing was even and very good looking. As with any leather holster there is a small amount of break in time about 1 to 2 days. I own and use several leather and keydex holsters, however the classic look of the 1911 weapon and leather holster is extremely American. I am happy and will purchase again due to a great leather holster.

The store office, as an online store, should make a follow up for the progress of purchased package delivery of customers. The office should check when and at what condition the package was received by the customers. Any untoward incident like late delivery, or reports of customers like inconsistencies in online track status with that of actual delivery status, the online store should always immediately replace the item being purchased and deliver it to customer the soonest possible time via a reputable courier service. Investigations to be made by the office, in terms of untoward incidents should not be a concern of the customers. Customers' orders and duly purchased items where done in good faith hence contingent plans should be carried out to alleviate customers worry. Reviews made such as this, were usually being compared from other online stores that caters online service on a more " customer first " oriented way. I ,as a customer, will hope, that future transactions will improve and should rest assure.people that their trust be guaranteed and well protected.

I placed an order on Monday 7/31 and just checked the order status which states my order has not yet shipped and is expected to ship on 8/10.
Years ago this would be normal but with online shopping and amazon prime becoming so popular you almost never have to pay for shipping and when you do your order at least comes in a reasonable time. 2 full weeks to process an order for a belt and knife. Kind of ridiculous to me.
