You send them an email and they won't forward it to the correct department, no, they email you back and tell you to call their 0800 number (that's if you get a response at all). While on hold for an hour on their 0800 number they tell you that the quickest way to get help is to send them an email!!! Then after being on hold for an hour, 5pm ticks over and they direct your call to voicemail, which advises you that the voice mailbox is full so you can't leave a message.
If you call from a mobile they say leave a message and they will call you back, but they never do.
I've been trying to get a credit from them for the deal I signed up with over 14 months ago, but now I think they are just crooks and scammers and I'm surprised they are still in business.

Worst internet provider in the country!
Signed up, got connected, first day no internet - waited nine hours to speak to someone, various hold times and call back promises etc.
Long story short, in six months my internet disconnected itself seven times, I learn t how to fix myself as calling their phone number from a mobile never gets any answers and you can be next in the queue for over an hour and then get cut off, they also ignore emails and block you on facebook when you call them out on their horrendous service.
They tried telling me it was a problem with Chorus' connection into my house - so tell me why it works perfect EVERY SINGLE DAY since I changed providers?
There is an entire facebook page dedicated to these guys and thier cowboy ways - look up Compass Complaints
When they finally agreed to let me out of my contract (that they had already made void by not providing the service I had signed up for - several times) they said they would waive the early termination fee.....but then charged it anyway! And then fed me some codswallop line of I had to wait until XX day to do refunds as they could only do them one day a week
AVOID AVOID AVOID and make sure everyone you know, knows it too!

Promised a hassle-free connection with minimal downtime - critical as I work from home and rely on the internet.
Followed this up with an email - when they took over a week to courier a modem - emphasising they could connect when they liked, provided there was no more than a few hours downtime.
After the modem arrived, Chorus installed the fibre and told us service should be up in an hour.
First day - no internet.
Second day - Compass technical support said they could see "all it needs is for us to connect you" and it would be done the next day.
Third day - no internet, wouldn't answer the phone (we kept going from 4th in the queue to 'next', then back to 4th as they clearly didn't want to explain their previous lies).
Fourth day - using a private number we got through, only to be told we'd be waiting at least another two days.
This isn't a technical problem. They've said all the "connection team" needs to do is some admin to start the service. Yet I've lost hundreds of dollars through not being able to upload large files for clients.
Misleading and deceptive, and incapable of even providing the service they sell you. AVOID at all costs.
