one of the worst customer service experiences!
This company is just not worth it. the amount of headache you go through is just so exhausting! They do not have any support! and when you chat with them, it takes them 10 min to reply back for every message! I would have attached the screenshots of the chat here if there was an upload option here. Do not buy from them, Believe me, you are going to save yourself alot of headache.

Arrogant and pretentious customer service that refused to explain anything in clear English. For example, I was looking for a technical solution for my company. I was willing to sign the cheque immediately. Customer service agent insisted on treating me rudely, and refused to explain what I needed to purchase and why. Instead he directed me to the website where he mumbled his instructions. When I asked for clarification he responded in the rudest, most patronizing tone of voice ever.
It was the absolute worst customer service call I have ever encountered. The customer service agent was literally told "I will buy a product if you can give me a solution to my problem in clear English". I WANTED to give him money.
Customer service agent was clearly American, so language barrier not an excuse. I hung up right in the middle of the call. My regret is not asking to speak to the manager. AVOID.

Just the worst experience...
Trying to get an EV SSL completed. Our company is a legitimate, fully registered business with all the necessary documents. Got everything to them straight away, had a phone validation phone call and via live chat (only way to get a response within a week as they don't reply to ticket requests) was told everything is ready to go - HOWEVER - they didn't like our virtual office address (used in early days to stop spam) and without telling us, threw the application out, so we provided them with documentation of our trading address and was told they wouldn't accept this. As a US company, they just don;t understand how a UK trading / registered office works, and provide absolutely no help whatsoever trying to get the better of it. After numerous e-mails and live chat sessions, have been given the number for their UK office - only to find you must have an extension to get through (which wasn't supplied) so, more than a week on, back on live chat going through the process all over again...
Crazy - they've seen credit reference reports, bank statements, company incorporation documents, letters from HMRC, public / third party directory listings, our domain, they've called us - and they're still asking for more!!
Pay slightly more and use a different EV SSL provider - these guys are trouble. Had I taken the time to review them first, I would have gone elsewhere...

Probably the worst company ever. Like many others they, they kept asking for more and more documentation. After you would fulfill that, they would keep requesting more. Every person over there also has a different set of requirements in regards to the documentation. They are currently holding my refund hostage and just hung up on chat when I asked about it. Which after reading below, again seems to be common. The people you talk to at customer service are just as terrible. See below for my most recent hangup.

Very bad support. Customer is ignored. Very bad validation process. They keep asking more and more documents.
It is cheap, but in the end after paying a lawyer, or a notary to notarize the dozens of documents required, it will become expensive.

(0 Star) Very bad company....Ordered a EV SSL Certificate from them and just kept passing me around asking for sooo much stuff...Like all this effort for a ssl? Needed letters / Lawyers / ID / phone calls non stop / live chats. Once provided they just asked for more stuff so it got to the point of asking my CEO "is this worth it anymore?"
Due to them phoning my CEO non stop (HIDDEN PHONE ID) it got to the point of him not even answering anymore due to it being another waste of his time so i decided to try help resolve the matter (Being staff) and contacted them to try sort stuff out but was told "Who even are you? your not a customer please don't phone again" and hung up...From that day i just really disliked this company.
After providing them something they asked for it just wasn't good enough and they kept asking for more stuff or asked to phone our staff team 24/7.... Who wants non stop missed calls from a company for a SSL everyday?..We paid on the 16th and we still haven't got the SSL and its the 31th..................Feel like i've been scammed.
Wish i just read the reviews...all these bad reviews are all stating the same problem i'm having right now. "We'll send you your SSL within the next 24 hours" 6 days later still no SSL and now getting told "We need more documents" etc...complete joke and waste of time...I'm 19 but about time i finish their validation i'll be around 96.
Also after contacting them on live chat about the issues i'm having they just closed the chat.... Very childish staff team and in my opinion their the worse over rated company I've ever came into contact with.
PS : They also told me the documents i sent wasn't valid but after contacting three different lawyers they all confirmed the document was fine for what they was needing so it just seems their trying to be difficult because we made a complaint to the management team which never replied anyway.

I'm afraid your worst fears are confirmed. I'm here because the customer support is so rude and unprofessional, not answering my installation question properly that I began to suspect a scam. The certificate didn't work but the guy didn't seem to want to help. The technical support link meant you had to register first but a chat line came up first.
Eventually I registered but had the foresight not to use my normal password. I wouldn't use their keychain link either but its up to you!

Comodo has a tendency to take part in hilariously aggressive email marketing campaigns. Organizations I work with have received over 300 individual emails from someone there trying to set up a meeting to talk about their products. I went ahead and permanently banned the domain across all of these servers going forward due to their breach of CAN-SPAM laws. I wouldn't recommend signing up on their website or giving them any information at all, otherwise they will relentlessly spam you without having any way to prevent it from happening. No unsubscribe link that I could see in the emails.

Please don't purchase from Comodo. I had bad experience with them and till now I can't run my webstore. When I request for refund they had been keeping silence since. I purchased from them since Nov 2017 and till now no cert. I had showed them that I had registered my business in my home country as well as Infobel. They keep saying they were unable to validate the certificate unless I place my name as Representative in Infobel...which I did but they claimed they can't see my name. I guessed they should know that Infobel doesn't have that Rep field unless you logged in. Bad bad experience. Now I can't even pay for my domain hosting package.

Awful company to deal with and am almost certain they are scamming people. They continue to deny validation of my company phone number and issue the SSL cert, despite my confirmation of my D-U-N-S number and an email from Dun & Bradstreet that my company phone number exists within their db.
Comodo claim they will not accept an email from dnb.co.uk as confirmation.
Avoid this certification organisation like the plague.

This company is painful to deal with. Terrible customer service and support. I have been trying for months to sort out a SSL certificate for our NZ site. I send in the information required only to be sent an email telling me that I need to do something else. So I've got my lawyer to fill out the ev document. Then I get an email saying the date is incorrect. The person reading it is obviously a moron as they misread the application date (clearly stated) for the letter creation date, quite clearly at the top left of the letter. They also tell me the phone number needs to be an NZ number so ok, I go back to our lawyer and get the letter amended with our NZ number and point out the date and send it back. They then come back and still say the number is not NZ, absolutely it is, they have misread the letter again and they tell me the address is not in the letter. Absolutely it is! Then they tell me to register at the NZ companies office. I have sent them the companies letter of registration months ago! Seriously frustrating!!!! Here is my ticket number in the event that this company reads this and cares about reviews DGB-962-55445

Way too many notifications and it was interfering/blocking scripts such as django-admin. It consistently shoves feature upon feature down your throat and the only way to disable the things you don't want is to read through lists of ambiguous and poorly documented settings. The only reason I would recommend this to someone would be if they were overly paranoid about their security and would be happy to read through the fifty or so settings within the software.

I bought a 3 year plan with COMODO SECURITY 10 and GEEK BUDDY SUPPORT in November 2017. It all started out smoothly the first week I ordered the service, but after my first remote session with geek buddy tec support everything changed. To make a long story short the Tecs at geek buddy were purposely leaving my administrator account vulnerable and compromised so they could spy on me and take over my computer right in front of me while I'm working on my computer ... yeah ... you read this correctly. Over a half dozen times my mouse started moving around on its own opening files right in front of me while I'm working on the computer!!! After a dozen remote sessions with them telling them my administrator is being hacked, I finally cancelled the service and removed them from my computer. I told them I was going to write blogs to inform the public on how they are .. so here I am. The company is basically a bunch of third world country sheep herders from the Middle East running a computer security business. Why the hell are we letting this happen in America!!!

Since implementing Comodo’s endpoint solution, we know the containment will be the last line of defense from any malware. Our rep was great at introducing the solution to our team and we did hit a few bumps during deployment but support assisted us via call and remote sessions to get us set up and running.

Comodo makes my job easier! In addition to saving time, my team has found Comodo extremely easy to use. Our rep has been very responsive thoroughout the entire purchasing process. My employees are not very tech savvy, and we no longer have to worry about the dumb stuff they do online. (Only thing keeping a 5 Star review away is limited functionality for Linux.)

Comodo One is the way to go. Previously I had used a different vendor for security, patch management, MDM, remote takeover, and IT ticketing. Comodo does this all under one console. It’s made my network easier to manage and was able to consolidate all 5 of those costs into one. Who doesn’t like saving money?!?
