We moved from Maryland to Texas and needed movers. We had the misfortune to stumble on these scammers. We did not research them and also did not read reviews on them. Had we done these two, we would have made a different decision than going with them. These scamers posed themselves to be movers. They asked my wife to make an initial deposit of $993.85 which she did using her credit card. We were told by Andrew, the sales agent that we would only have to make the final payment after delivery had been done. These guys are no movers. They are brokers and the reviews about them are horrible. Just good Colonial van lines and/or relo van lines. We were quoted a total of $2400 for a total weight of 4899 pounds. Our things came up to a total of 3800 pounds, meaning we were to get a final reduction in price. Although we were told that our we would not pay any additional amount before delivery, the driver who cam five days late demanded have of the remaining $1400. We argued but they already had our things. We then paid them $700 while waiting for the final amount. We were then told that the final amount would be $529.83. It is over one month today and we have not received our things. We were called and told to wire the remaining balance in exchange for the key to a storage about five miles from our home where our things have been stored. If we wire the money, we are not sure to even have our things. Such business should be put out of operations. They have built a network that support their scamming activities. Please go online and read reviews about them.
