I tried calling the phone number provided today to cancel an Insurance claim as we found the lost/stolen mobile phone I had reported. The first gentleman I spoke with was helpful and transferred me to another department. There, I waited on hold for 5 minutes and then the woman promptly hung up on me when I started speaking English (even though I had pressed 9 for English). I can speak and understand Danish, but sometimes do not have the vocabulary to discuss insurance documents and issues.
I called back again and was on hold for 9 minutes, someone picked up but didn't talk, and then I was back on hold again for another minute.
This second gentleman was very helpful, answered all my questions (which I haven't received an answer for over email since I first wrote 10 days ago) and was fine with switching between Danish and English.
This is very unfortunate and frustrating as a customer to be hung up on!! Also, if you have the option to receive information and assistance in English, it would be helpful to provide information in English (the rest is still in Danish).

After 3 years without accident with Codan ,another 25 years accident free driving in Germany and reaching the so heavily advertised Elite bilist status, I am supposed to pay 2000 kr. more than in the first year.

The company strategie is also send out your bills so late that you dont get the chance to chancel your contract in time, but be forced to first pay the whole ammount and hope that they will return the money.

I usually stick with companys even if they higher the prices a bit ,like last year about 35%, but after all the experiences with Codan I am out of this.
After the ,, ansvar bil ,, 3 years ago and asking to be not contacted by phone, I experienced the sheer phone terror from their freelance sellers about ,indboforsikring, husforsikring, ulykkeforsikring ,sundhelsforsikring, rejseforsikring and more ... even worse , those sellers couldnt even accept a ,, no ,, and continued to pester me till I really freaked out at the phone.
Informations about e-mail adresse change , adresse change a.s.o. didnt bother them and was till the todays live-support still outdated.
Hint to Codan , who wants to charge premium prices should also offer premium service.
