Awful experience. This company rents crappy and dirty cars advertised completely differently, the front desk staff is horrendous and their policies are a set of quibbles (badly or not communicated at all) to steal money and which is difficult to escape. Never again.

This company is full of thieves. The mechanic did not connect battery cables properly and then the car stopping in the tunnel. I had my daughter in the car and could have been killed and then they wanted to charge me for the tow truck. Avid at all costs

It only takes reading all the other hundreds of reviews to realise what a shockingly terrible company this is. The staff are horrendous to deal with and their work ethic is, unethical. All I can advise is cancel your credit card after you’ve checked out the car. They won’t be able to charge you all the illegal fees that they do.

Read all the reviews below, this is a company that is built off thieving your money at every opportunity when it is never justified. They avoid all emails and calls, no customer service and then charge you extortionate amounts for anything they can find. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! I sincerely hope they go bankrupt as their business model is totally immoral. I’m gutted I even had to give it 1 star as that’s an insult to all other 1 star companies.

Rented a car from Palma Mallorca airport. Was kept waiting for over 2 hours at their check-in. I should have known better, as they were doing the hard sell to all the punters before me. Their base rates appear competitive, but they make their money in one of 2 main ways, either flogging you extortionate insurance policies or, if you use your own insurance, claiming you have damaged the car when you return it.
I was hit with the later. On return, they magically found a 2mm diameter stone chip on the bottom of the rear bumper. Strangely, the guy went straight to it, as though he knew it was already there! Charged me £220 straight on my credit card.
Luckily, they are so dumb that they modified the original copy of my damage report with the new damage and asked me to sign for the it, which I didn't do.
I complained to my credit card about the size of the charge and that they had destroyed any proof of existing damage by modifying the original documentation. Took a while, but they investigated and coughed up.
I have rented lots of cars in Mallorca and most of the companies actually ignore any damage less than around 20mm diameter.

First gave me a car different to the one i rented. Car full of damages not included in the paper they give me (they of course would try to charge me if i wouldn't see them). One hour waiting in Valencia, one hour in the garage. I gave the car back and charge me 260 Euros from one previous damage (luckily i have one video that i recorded the day they gave me the car) anyway i must to go further to recover my 260 Euros. They don't want to help even with the video dated the day an hour from the rent. These people are Thieves. In Any way i would recommend to these bunch of unpolite and unhelpful people.
Be careful with them, they will charge you everything they can, even when you aren't reponsible for this.

My experience with Click Rent Alicante was exceptionally appalling.
From collecting the car & to returning the car.
We arrived 30 mins early was told the car was for noon. No one was in the office collecting another car. I have
never experienced this before. The customer representative was appalling. She just said where the car was & didn't
walk around the car. If I found anything that wasn't marked I was to take a photo.
I came back with the car , the customer rep went throu the car inside & outside. A small mark was found where the door slides at the top.One never looks up that far. I have enclosed a photo of the mark. I have had too paid 310Euro. It was a complete rip off.
I have a feeling this is a scam. A similar car was
also there & it had the same problem.
I will never ever recommend them to anyone. The whole attitude was appalling

Keep away !! Scam !!! Unfortunately we had to deal with those thiefs, Rebecca the Spanish girl at the counter in Alicante airport is a professional con, she will welcome you with her corrupt smile, and will make sure she took everything she can from you.
First we took the full insurance through the website, but once you we get there they have inform us that our full insurance is not really a full one as it doesn’t include the bodywork and this will cost you 230€ extra, plus if you still think that you can avoid this, she will pretend that you can skip it by paying a 1200€ deposit, however the machin card doesn’t allow any payment, so you don’t have many choices either you lost the money of your booking or you add this extra amount.
We booked a Peugeot 5008, and she gave us a damaged and very dirty Kia carens, telling us that is definitely from the same category. Be very careful before signing the contract as many scratch and bump doesn’t figure on the contract, and they will jump on it once you return the car and charge you a huge amount of money for it.
We thought that it will cost us 200€ And we ended up at 600€.

Absolute sharks, diabolical service and complete dishonesty.
Under no circumstances use this firm, I returned the car with the smallest mark which would quite easily of polished out. I was told it would cost €100 to fix, they took €310 from my deposit.

On returning my car they charged me for cleaning without my consent took 150 euros from my deposit
There was no mention of returning the car valeted
They were doing something similar to the man before me in the queue also
I will NEVER use them again and would strongly advise against it

Awful company. Wish I had read the reviews before using this company. We had to wait for 2 hours on arrival at Valencia airport in 40 degree heat with two children as they kept telling us the wrong place to wait to be picked up. On return we filled up the car with a full tank of petrol about 1 min drive from the drop off point. When we got home we found out they had charged our card for petrol and a refuelling charge as the car did not have a full tank. I have tried to call them several times but get no answer and have emailed with no response. Avoid this company.

Went to Valencia and hired a car. Took about an hour and ten minutes for booking out process. Car had about fifteen separate pieces of damage. No problems with car generally. Upon arrival back to drop car off was horrified to see about 20 people waiting to check cars in. One person checking cars and then driving minibus to airport. Thought three hours before flight was plenty of time but started to panic. After about 45 mins one other member of staff appeared and did the ferrying to the airport which greatly sped things up. Still took an 1 1/2 hours to check car in and get to airport. Staff did not seem bothered at all regarding people’s flight times. So to cap of a generally crap service I received the ok on the booking in slip but still am waiting for the return money for fuel as we filled it up on return. Numerous emails which they have now stopped answering and a bog standard, it could take 30 to go back into the account. The other family we travelled with had their fuel money arrive back on their card on the same day. At moment i’m 90 Euros down and having the frustration of trying to get my money back. Cowboy firm, pay a bit more and go for different company. Avoid at all costs.

We booked through 'do you spain' that should have sent alarm bells going but stupidly it didnt ...
we arrived at 7.30pm as promised... read instructions so that our 'on airport' greeter would take us to our car ... an hour and a half later ... several calls and after feeling totally stranded the pink bus arrives and delivers us to an office full of angry people. we wait a further 30 mins to be told the 'credit card' isnt working ...so we will have to use 'the other option' absolute BS but alone with an 8 year old at by now 11pm in a foreign country they knew they had me snookered. They made out they couldnt understand enough to explain properly and knew full well they were dealing with the desperate !!!! Disgusting ..in the end they got my debit card and deducted 218 euros promising to return the fuel charge when i took the car back. I had no idea they were taking 218 I was extremely confused...she did a good job !!!!! It was dark and my son was scared !!!
Evil place and Evil people to purposely use poor service and scaremongary to do this to people and they should be closed down. What an awful start to our holiday ...218 euros lighter we drove away in a smashed up vehicle feeling abused !!

Car was OK, though we rented class D and got a Ford focus (which is class B anywhere else). It didn't fit the advertised number of suitcases.
But worst part was the shuttle. Leaving Majorca airport there is no clear marking where to wait for their shuttle. They say it comes every 10 minutes but it's more like 20, they are located 10 minutes from the airport, and their pink van only seats 10, so they typically leave as many people behind to wait for the next shuttle as they take.
On reading the reviews now (80% bad), I am worried that they will try to take some of my deposit. I got a clean sign off when I got to the airport, but I am reading that they often try to charge to clean the car (which I've never experienced in 30 years of renting cars all over the world).

I wish I had read reviews before using this company. They appear to be expert con artists. I was supplied with a dirty damaged car. On returning the vehicle the lady doing the inspection said there was blue marks on the sill under the front grille (among all the stone chip marks). The marks were not visible to me nor could she point to a single mark. I took photos of the sill and even blown up the photos do not show any blue marks.
Low and behold an invoice has arrived for 420 euros with photos showing blue marks on the sill. Amazed at their gall

Absolutely awful customer service - messaged two days before to say we would be dropping the car 2 hours later due to family emergency- charged full day that was nearly as much as the 6 days of rental! No help no number to call and won’t refund us! Awful and would not recommend they are cons with the price of the rentals anyway

A couple of weeks ago my partner and i flew out to Ibiza for a weeks holiday. (My aunty has a home out there so we finally took her up on the offer to use it.) My Aunty had booked our car etc through a broker called Do you Spain. (She fly's out 10 times a year or so and has always used this broker.) When we turned up to collect the hire car we had already paid for, We were told that we had to pay them £1,100 on a credit card for deposit of the key. When we explained that my partner (named driver) didn't have a credit card however we could pay on debit they wouldn't accept it. I then asked if i could be changed as the main driver so they could take payment on my credit card and they refused!
They then told us that we had to take out their insurance (even though we had insurance cover already) in order for them to accept a smaller deposit on a debit card! The total for insurance was £160 for the week!!!! (On top of the £50 we had already paid the broker we went through!) We then gave them £200 deposit for the key as opposed to the original £1,100. As you can imagine, we were left with a very sour taste in our mouths and it instantly put a dampener on our holiday.
When returning the car we were told that there was no parcel shelf therefore we have to pay. (There never was a parcel shelf and we didn't even open the boot!!) I refused and explained to them that we didn't used the boot and we never saw a parcel shelf. They implied i was lying and insisted that they hold our deposit. On top of that they don't let you appraise the car with them on return. My boyfriend insisted he look in their valeting bay (they were nervous of this and tried to stop him.) He came out with a parcel shelf but unfortunately it didn't fit our car. I then made a point of saying 'you obviously take them out when you clean them' however the man refused to agree. When i asked how much they think a parcel shelf costs they simply shrugged their shoulders whilst looking down at the floor and replied 'ummm maybe 150?' at this point there was nothing we could do as they had our card details. I insisted that i speak to the manager but conveniently he happened to not be in! I told them that they were to speak to the manager and let us know the outcome as at this point we were absolutely furious. On top of that i was called i liar! We had to leave to catch our plane.
When we landed we were shocked to find out that they had taken £350 from our debit card!! (Without our permission!!) We called the bank and explained that the payment was not authorised and to block any further payments.
I wouldn't even give them 1 star....they should be shut down!! Total cost of Car Hire when leaving Ibiza ended up being £560 as opposed to the £50 it should have cost. Having read the below comments i think we got off lightly. Racist, Spanish pigs!! I will forever be disgusted and angry over the situation but i hope that this review helps others to avoid!

At pick up in Mallorca airport, they tried to sell me their insurance policy and pushed me very hard for it, even suggesting that I would have issues at drop off if I don't; I didn't buy the insurance -unfortunately- and indeed at drop off they said the front door was damaged; they found a very small dent at front door that they claim was a result of a thieve trying to force the door and they will assess the damage and send me the invoice once this is examined by an engineer. At my surprise, minutes later just by the time I reach the terminal, I have received an email with THE FULL EXCESS DAMAGE 1,050 euros simply taken (stolen) from my account…for a dent in the front door I am not even sure was caused during my rent but how can I challenge their statement..
I have all reasons to believe this company is running a scram and have malicious intentions to extract maximum money from customers deposit; the way the agent at pick up suggested I would regret it if I don’t buy insurance, and how quickly the agent at drop off spot the dent at front door as if he knew it was there and the swift invoice they sent me minutes later amounting to the maximum amount they can take without even proper assessment..
I am now raising this matter with the European body for customer protection in UK and will be looking for legal action as well.

ClickRent at Alicante Airport charged us €90 for additional insurance we did not need as we had paid for insurance through Expedia when we booked the car. We asked if there was another option without having to pay that amount and they said there were none. When we disputed this again upon returning the car they said there was an option of paying a refundable deposit of €1500. We complained that they did not tell us about this option when we collected the car. The company refused to refund us the €90. The agent that lied to us is called Pablo Barrero. Click Rent is a cowboy company that you should avoid completely.

I received a speeding fine and had to pay the car rental company another €50 just for having to "deal with my fine". Outrageous.

Ok, I realise there are so many negative reviews but I have to share mine as this is only positive in my experience. I dealt with Joshua at the front service desk in Valencia who was nothing other than helpful, polite, courteous and professional. There was no hard sell on the additional insurance once I told him I had my own excess annual policy and the car, a Renault Scenic 7 seater was excellent with many optional extras. The only gripe I had was that the windscreen washer tank was empty, but I just filled that myself. So the cost of a 7 seater for two weeks rented through do you spain was Eur115, which I think is unbelievable value. Just remember to check the t+c's before booking - they are pretty consistent across most rental companies but that way you shouldn't have any surprises.

I rented a car in July 2019 in Mallorca Airport. I had prepaid the car through AutoEurope and brought the voucher. On pickup the agent wanted med to by extra insurance as he would give me a new car. I refused as my travelinsurance covers already.
When the agent tried to pull the 1700€ deposit the card was refused. We tried two cards - no luck.
The agent made a contract with full insurance that actually doubled the rent! He event charged a diesel fee! To get the car I needed to accept. I feel mislead. I wrote the Company...still waiting...

Never rent a car at Click rent!!!
We picked up our renstal car last week at Valencia Airport. When the employee brought us to our car, we immediately saw that the car was full of scratches, and very dirty on in and outside. When we complained and asked for another car, the guy told us this was not possible because there was no other available. He suggested us to take this car and send our complains in an email to customer care of Click Rent.
So we did, in none of their emails they apologized for giving us a car in this state. After a few days a received a phone call, that we could change the car at Valencia or Alicante airport, we told them that this was not a solution for us because:
1. We had already asked for another when we picked up the car
2. It Wil take us at least 3-4 hours to change the car
3. It will cost us fuel and toll to drive to Valencia or Alicante
We asked if they could give us a refund but they won’t do that. And they are not willing to give another solution.
Also on the dashboard of the car a sign mentions that the needed service 244 days ago!!!
We hire cars for more than 10 years now but we had never had such a bad experience!!!
So please rent your car at another company to prevent you from such a bad experience.

DO NOT use Click Rent !!
Do not use this company, they are not serious, dishonest and try to charge you for all extra without basis. Once you do not take the extras they make up things.
I delivered the car back and signed the delivery note in the presence of the officer where all was OK.
Later I found out that they have used part of the amount they blocked for the excess to take Euro 150 for extra cleaning of the car, with no basis and signature for it.They sent pictures of my car which was in a normal state after 14 days use. I have delivered cars in Alicante for 20 years in the same and worse condition and never experienced this. On top of it all they charged my card Euro 60 two days later without any basis or explanation. Now, this will have to be solved by the C card provider which advised me to block the card. Obvious fraud. Stay away.
