China Highlights Train Ticket Service Reviews

I needed to cancel our fare from Guilin to Guangzhou and buy new tickets from Guilin to Hong Kong same day. The staff from China Highlights were very helpful and advised what I should do late night when we realized we needed to rebook for next morning. When canceling a train ticket, you are subject to 20% cancellation fee and you will not get back the service fee, which seems a little high; 22% of total fare. However, the service was excellent.

A little bug with the online paiement, but the team was reactive and found a solution !
So good experience with China Highlights ticket service ! :)

Selecting a company to help buy the tickets is not easy to start with.

Completing the application form is straight forward.
Payment is a little awkward if you don't already have a PayPal account & although creating one isn't difficult, being able to pay directly with a card would help. However, this is much simpler than other companies who supply tickets.

Arrangements to purchase and deliver the tickets were well explained and happened as described, although it is a little disconcerting to pay for a ticket and know that nothing will happen for a few months.
Instructions for using the ticket are clear & helpful.
Some are over cautious, but that is not a bad thing if you are not familiar with how things work in a foreign environment.

Overall a good service and an enjoyable journey in China.
