We are very pleased with the service we received from Chilton Furniture. Zack was professional and helpful with each interaction. The quality of the cottage day bed we ordered is excellent and we are very happy with the purchase.. The only negative was the length of time we had to wait for our piece to be made. 21 weeks is a very long time.

I whizzed in on a busy weekend, during a sale. Liked this particualr headboard (each is unique), BUT it was on the floor and they weren't certain they'd have a chance to swap it out for another upstairs in storage by the following day, when I planned to pick it up. Not only did they have it ready to go, but they freed up one of the guys to help load the bed in my pickup. Great furniture, fair prices, very accommodating. I keep going back for those reasons.

We selected the Penobscot Arbor bed with storage drawers. The cherry wood is beautiful, and the drawers are deep enough to hold a good amount of clothes. The bonus is it's made in Maine, so we are helping to support the local craftspeople. The staff in the store were very helpful, with no sales pressure. Delivery was "white glove" indeed...pleasant and efficient. We highly recommend Chilton furniture.

In the course of the past five years, as I furnished my Maine home, I have purchased furniture at Chilton. The quality of their furniture is exceptional as is their customer service. My recent purchase, a Sebago Sofa table, is a beautiful piece of living room furniture. From the Shaker collection it possesses simple, clean and elegant lines that enhance the decor of any room. Constructed of solid cherry wood, it is a solid table with beautiful color.

I love the Davis stool, BUT I ordered these in August expecting them to be delivered in December, and that did not happen. I didn’t get them until January, which was a disappointment during the holidays.

The bench is well made, suits almost any decor. Bought for extra seating when there are more than 6 at the table. The arched detail under it is lovely. Adds dimension to the room. We also bought 4 Saco side chairs in cherry and 2 armed Saco chairs, comfortable, well made and look beautiful in the room. We love that it's made in Maine by Maine craftsmen. It's a quality product. The company that delivered the furniture was first rate too. Will be buying a bed next.

We have now had our table for three months. In addition to everyday use, t has seen several dinner gatherings, two family visits, and a number of customers visiting us for our machine quilting business. Everyone loves the table--we do too. Beautiful craftsmanship, the finish is superb, and the leaves allow us to have a cozy table for four or expand it to have plenty of seating for eight (or more if we scrunch). Our experience with Chilton was also excellent. The table was finished several weeks earlier than expected and delivery was quite professional and effortless. Very happy customers!

We consider Chilton our gold standard when purchasing furniture. We own a Shaker dining table, Canterbury chairs, a Burnette bed and nightstands. I think it's amazing that our beautiful bed was made by a craftsman who lives two towns away. The designs are elegant and calming to the eye. The thing we love the most about Chilton furniture is it's timelessness and ability to fit into any type of home. We currently live in an 1850's cape, and the furniture looks beautiful. But we are considering moving to a newer build in a few years, and I know the furniture would look perfect there as well. We are lucky enough to live close to the Freeport showroom so we can browse freely, but if you aren't in the area, just know that this furniture is as stunning in person as it is in pictures.

The Ice Jam Coffee Table by Chilton Furniture has been a beautiful addition to our office space. Simple and sleek, this table is the perfect focal point for any contemporary seating area. The moderately sized table top is spacious enough for four to five people to gather around comfortably, while the modern design of the base adds interest without adding bulk.

Our grandson's bedroom is in a room in our house that also serves multi purposes. We found aperfect bed for him to call his own but for me to be able to store other items under his bed in the pull out drawers. Bed came very well made, easy to put together, and lovely to look at once completed. Our overall experience with Chilton has been wonderful!

We first saw the Foyer Buffet on the showroom floor and were initially disappointed we couldn't purchase items off the floor. However, after an inquiry as to more in stock, one was located. Preferring the darker cherry model on the floor to the lighter new one, we were happily told we could have our choice. The furniture is excellent, the staff very friendly and accommodating. We recommend them highly.

We bought the Prouts Neck round table with two extra leaves and we love it. It's perfect for our dining space because when left round it takes up less space than our old table but has the capacity (with the two leaves) to seat 8-10 people. We got it in a dark stain which matches our antique sideboard and grandfather clock perfectly so we are very happy with this purchase.

My two nightstands needed to go into a tight space on either side of a canopy bed and fit perfectly, along with my pie safe and lingerie chest. So pleased with the workmanship.
