A first class chess publication. The only slight problem was that the packaging was somewhat inadequate to prevent buckling in one corner, caused by robust handling by the postal/delivery service when the package was, presumably, dropped.

When I subscribed to Chess Informant, Josip Asik (the managing director) sent me an email thanking me for my business. The actual issue arrived as promised in 2 days (from Belgrade to Houston TX) and was in perfect condition, thanks to the very secure packing.
Great company and great people to work with!

Chess Informator 122 Mechanics is still the periodical for chess. With the inclusion of articles by Morozevich, Marin, So and Mueller the Informator
adds to the very well analyzed games in this edition. I have all of the Chess Informantors; which to me always adds to my game improvement and development.

Chess Informant is the best and most respected chess publisher around the globe. And the service is fantastic. I am very satisfied with the quality, price of the product, and with the service provided online and delivering the products. If you have questions, they answer quite fast.

I have done a lot of business with these folks the last 6 months or so and they have been outstanding. Quality of product, customer support, speed of shipment including 2 day delivery makes it tough to even consider purchases from others for the books they carry.
In addition, the Chess Informant has been great to read through and study with.

I bought my first Informant in 1970 and have usually had a complete set at all times since then. In the early days the problem was "not enough information" and Informant filled that gap nicely. By the 1990s there was a new problem: "too much information," and Informant adapted by selecting only the most important games. Today, Informant has adapted to the Internet by selecting the very best games, and shifting some of its focus onto theoretical developments and profiles of rising players. I still look forward to each new issue, and I am very happy to be a subscriber.
