I ordered some things online and when I FINALLY received my order weeks after ordering , some things didn't fit right and so I had to take them to the store for return. Well I really liked what I ordered but needed a different size but of course nothing is ever in the stores and they say they can't have it sent to the store from the wear house like most almost every retail shop can do. So CR suggested to put the refund back onto my debit card - then I remembered how it takes about a week or longer to get it credited back so I asked could I just get it on a CR card cause I just planned on getting the items in the next size so the money would just be going right back to CR. I DIDNT KNOW OR HAVE ANY CLUE A MERCHANDISE RETURN GIFT CARD IS ONLY GOOD IN THE STORE NOT ONLINE! You can't even call the number on the back of the card to check the balance or to speak to customer service cause the computers are always SUPPOSIDLY down and they won't you to try again later for the exact same response . When I finally got through to a person they said was from customer service they said the card would say if it's for usebonlinebor in the store but mine said merchandise credit . Then they told me to go to the store with the reciept and ask them to change it to and for online use- needless to say over a month later I still have that merchandise return card cause I can only use it in the store ( but the store never has anything I like hardly or in my size ). It's crazy that they can't do like everybody else and that's request something be sent to them from the wear house for customer purchase. It's like the wear house just loads up a truck randomnly with randomn stuff and off to the store it goes. ALWAYS GET CASH REFUNDS !

I was trying to buy some dresses and shoes during the easter break. It says that the order could not be submitted and asks me to check my payment settings. I have tried 4 different cards but it doesn't get through. I tried calling the customer service but it was closed due to easter.

I needed a pair of shoes in time for an event and they sent me the completely wrong shoes. didn't even get the size or color right! I called customer service and there was no way for them to expedite them without charging me. That's ridiculous. You're company screwed up and I needed shoes on time! Now they don't even know when the correct pair will come in! AGH

This was my first and last night experience with them... ever. Customer service is terrible, they "have the power to do nothing", they claim their computers are "down" but I believe they just put you in hold for two minutes and come back to you with that claim. No supervisors available. Just horrible. The price could never make up for the aggravation.

I purchased over $100 worth the clothing online from charlotte russe and when i received it everything was fine and perfect. But the next day when I tried on this off the shoulder faux top I got many rashes all over my skin that keep SPREADING and I had to buy medication for! And what REALLY pissed me off was when I asked for a refund they said no and acted like what I had was a "minor breakout" and I didn't "qualify" for a refund. Like isn't the costumer supposed to have complete satisfaction? And if there are any problems they will help fix them and meet your needs? What a bs online store. Never purchasing from there again! Oh and before you ask if I was allergic to any material, I can guarantee you I am not. And I know for a fact some type of bacteria or chemical was in that clothing piece and they were to cheap to even clean it or make the shirt the best quality it should be. And this shirt was $20 for a piece of crap! I don't even think charlotte russe deserves even one star. And I have never had an issue with any other store unlike this one. Extremely dissapointed.

I'm shocked to see so many bad reviews on CR. I don't have complaints about them at all. I usually purchase items online since I haven't had a chance to go in store shopping... anyways, shipping isnt always the fastest but never too slow. Items are good quality. I think I don't have complaints or problems shopping online because I already know what to order and what to expect from them. Happy customer :))

I love CR, but we no longer have one in the city that I live so now I have to shop online. I ordered one thing and that came in perfect. The 2nd time I had $#*!ty experiences. The heels I ordered have two different colored of laces that don't match the description that is online. Then I receive an email stating two things I purchased were out of stock and now its been two weeks and I am still waiting for them to return my money into my bank. Kinda sucks that they aren't doing a good job on running the online website when they have so many cute clothes. They shouldn't allow you to purchase something and allow you to run your money if it isn't in stock. Hoping this store works on bettering the online website.

Always enjoy buying great clothes and accessories there have great selection. Unfortunately they have the rudest, $#*!tiest employees. They are to say the least friendly, sighing and rolling their eyes as if you are inconveniencing them. I wish I had noticed the girls name but her cashier number on receipt is 260840 in the Midland, Texas mall store. Hopefully she can get a class on customer service 101....she clearly needs it!!!

My Fourth Time ordering from CR. I never Order online but want it some heels so I decided to give it a try.They send me a tracking number. Got my heels in 5 days. I bend ordering stuff every thing bend ship to me with out problems wating on some heel to get here Tuesday and got the from 40% off free shipping. My new place to shop online love it ;)

You will never receive all of your items if you purchase more than one. The customer service reps will give you attitude and you won't ever talk to a supervisor should you need to. The crazy thing is I spoke to someone on the phone Monday about cancelling my order after I read horror stories about CR. I had been trying to cancel my order to days prior. I told the rep I was scared of becoming a victim of being charged for an item that was sold out and she assured me all of my items were. Guess what? All of my items were attached to the same tracking number so I figured if I ever did get my items (many others haven't), nothing would be missing. Boy I couldn't have been more wrong. Of five items, not one, but two items were missing. A whole pair of shoes they claimed to have shipped! I tracked this package the whole way. Smh, not only was a pair of shoes missing, but also a pair of sunglasses the rep said was still in stock and asked would I like those to be shipped. Uh, heck no! I don't trust you guys at this point. I will say this about CR: their chickens will eventually come home to roost. Karma will rear it's head and they will be on the receiving end of it.

I ordered a pair of earrings. They arrived with stones missing. I sent them back and nearly a month later I still didn't see any credit on my card.
I contacted customer service and "Wens'Da" the rep was extremely unhelpful. Supposedly they had issued half a refund and deducted shipping, which they should not have since the item was damaged. However, I had NO credit showing on my card, and the rep had no interest in solving my problem. I asked for a manger and she told me call the customer service phone number. I called the customer service phone number and "Willa" was equally unhelpful. I asked for corporate, and she told me look it up online.
So now after waiting a month I have no earrings, no cash back, and a horrible customer service experience. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!

In the past month I have placed 8 orders from Charlotte Russe and every time I place an order a lot of my items are cancelled due to out of stock as a matter of fact they cancelled 17 different items this month alone I called costumer service and the menager named Elvin told me that this is normal when you buy from the sale category you should know it's a hit or miss ????? I like CR because they have quality clothing and really good selection for plus sizes. I had a %20 off and $10 off $50 coupon code and with my quick thinking I switched the codes around to take $20 off a $50 order! I live in Memphis so its no hassle with returns and with the warehouse being a few miles away shipping is really fast. Only thing is if its transferred to the post office just add another day. Thanks FedEx! I'm sorry but I've never had a bad experience with them. I just wait until there's a sale with free shipping or order enough to get free shipping then take the rest bk and get a refund. You gotta work these retail giants for whatever you can get! And they accept returns after 30 days which is a plus for me because I buy so much, lose interest and forget I even have them. I'm going to return a vDay outfit I never wore this weekend so we'll see how that goes...

I've been shopping here for a couple of years now, and you can find some really great pieces. The shipping has always been on time, and there's only ever been one mistake- a missing item, but that was taken care of really quickly. About an hour after emailing customer service I got a reply, and the item was reshipped with no extra cost or some crap like that. It was really easy to take care of, which is greatly appreciated. If you're more of a quantity over quality person, this place is for you- most of their items are inexpensive, while being pretty decent quality. (That being said, I got some sweaters from here that were really great quality too- extremely soft and durable, while still being affordable)

I purchased 3 items, only 2 arrived. The refund took weeks. I will never give these people my money ever again. The deals are nice, sure, but it's not worth the terrible service. Also, one of the dresses I received is so poorly made it's actually hilarious. The material is paper thin, to the point where you can see my bra and cleavage through the fabric. So now I have a $20 dress that is literally unwearable in public. I should've returned it, but I figured the hassle would be too great. I gave up on Charlotte Russe, and you should too.

Charlotte Russe is usually my go to shopping store. Recently, I've ordered 6 dresses and 6 sandals on their buy 1 get 1 $12.50 deal. When I got these items, they didn't give me the right dress and the dress they did give me was very ugly. All except for one of the dresses either was too small or too big and I ordered them all in medium. With the shoes, same situation. I was extremely disappointed with this purchase but I'll still shop at Charlotte Russe because I love their jeans, jackets, and dressy tops. I learned my lesson with ordering dresses online and I recommend that anyone who does order online, make sure you know your size in certain garments

I ordered on 1/20 a winter dance dress for my daughter. On 1/25 I called to check on the order. Was informed that order was still in process even though they could manage to charge my card at the time of order. Was told that they are behind because of the popularity of their sale. I asked to cancel my order since it wasn't "processed" yet and was told that "no, can't cancel but you can return it once it ships to you". Seriously? I can't wait to see what the return fee will be. You have ruined my daughter's dance because the dress she had hoped to wear is "in processing". An 8 day order/ship/arrival timeline works for every other company. I will NEVER EVER order anything from you again and from reading the other reviews looks like this is commonplace practice.

Just like the earlier comment, today Charlotte Russe had sale for 20-50% off the entire store, plus free shipping. Great! Just a few days ago I went to their store to look for light colored distressed jeans, but they were too expensive, about $33. So I decided to wait until they had a sale. This is my first time ordering online from any store and I really want these pair of jeans. After reading these reviews, I am scared if they are even going to arrive. I usually do in depth research before even just thinking about buying from a online store. But because I've been to CR so many times, boughten several tops, and tried on the jeans I purchased online, in the store, I briefly looked at the reviews and then just forgot to look into it more. I doubt that these reviews would even stop me from buying these jeans, which might be silly, because I love the light color, distressed look, and SUPER affordable price. I am all about saving money. In total the jeans were about $20, including the extra 20% off coupon, which I think is a great deal. I checked several times to see if the item says out of stock and it never has. CR is one of my favorite stores, I hope this doesn't make me rethink that. I hope they come in because I want them badly and to arrive in at least a week, as stated. Anyways, I'll probably have an update about this.

I ordered two pairs of shoes, a dress and a pair of leggings. Confirmation was sent right away. 9 days later, I checked with Federal Express and it still just had a label. I emailed and, what do you know, I get an email that the order has shipped! I waited a few days and checked with Federal Express again. They still have not received. When I emailed again complaining, and asking for an explanation or I would cancel. They just cancelled the order and gave a refund...except they did not refund the whole order and left one item off! I've just emailed them again. This company is so frustrating! I will never order from them again.

I ordered 4 thing from charlotte russe. All we're in stock when I bought them. I checked my order today to see if it had shipped and it said the shoes i ordered were $0.00 so i got confused. I checked my email and it said they were out of stock and i have been "refunded" my order total was $41 and the shoes cost me $25. My new order total after the shoes were removed is $36. I will never buy anything else from them again.
